Both of my parents left Iran during the revolution! My dad went to USA and my mom went to Canada xp
My family doesn't live in LA, but I think the fact that so many Iranians live in LA makes it a good place for them. Like, since there are so many there, they can easily find people that they can culturally relate to biggrin I know there's a lot of bad rep about the Iranians in LA, but there are definitely some good ones too whee Seriously, there were very few Iranians in my high school in Oregon, but when one transferred in from Tehran it was really nice to be able to talk to her biggrin Even if we were pretty different personality-wise, we had a special connection ^^
But if that's the case in Dubai and etc. then those are probably good places too ^^ Just as long as they are not alone sad
I hope that made sense sweatdrop

...and thanks for your info we really need to hear some from someone from the USA,as one of the main places that Iranians like to go*...
and how is racism there?
PS: I love the pic in your siggy!
Oh noooo xD My mother moved to the United States from Canada before I was born biggrin But she can speak French, English, and Farsi now because of it xd
No problem! biggrin The racism... it depends on which part of the United States. For example, I know an Iranian in Texas that had to deal with a lot of racism, but Oregon is a pretty tolerant place, so we haven't faced much racism biggrin
Thank you Puuyaaa whee biggrin
Ummm please use Persian instead of Farsi when talking in English.
Oh I see. Do you know anything about Iranians situation in Canada?
I'm sorry! sweatdrop Everyone here calls it "Farsi" so I call it that out of habit sweatdrop
I'm not sure sad As far as I know, Canadians are pretty mellow people, so I'm sure they are okay biggrin I don't think there are as many Iranians in Canada though sad
As We have already discussed in another thread. We use Persian because some people have forgotten that Persian = Farsi.
As I have heard Noruz is in Canadian calenders...!So I guess there are not less than Americans!
I know, I remember that thread 3nodding It's just that so many people call it "Farsi" that I say it on accident sometimes sad
Oh strange! :O That's cool though biggrin
