Hypnos felt rather quite relaxed attached to Ixion, safer than she had felt in nearly an hour. The horrors she had faced while on his planet seemed to be brushed away while felt him pat her back. She was so happy, so very delighted to not be alone anymore. She didn't to be alone down here anymore, and she was reluctant to let go of him.
"I-It's okay," she whispered. "You're right, you found me."
She still didn't want to let go of him though, especially not when he mentioned monsters. The idea of the undead coming to take her back with them again had sent a shiver down her spine and a wary glance toward the direction Ixion had come from. He hadn't seen it? It didn't try and get him? Ixion must have some sort of super power that repelled them. The fact he had her phone which she had dropped right by it was the final proof she needed and it most definitely made her feel even more safe.
"Oh, my phone," she said as she released her grip from him so she could take it back from him. She stood in front of him but with her back still against the wall as a precaution, making her feel extra safe as she stood between Ixion and the wall. Her head was down and hands gripped around the phone as he rest back against her chest. She smiled a bit, "Thank you, Ixion..."

A hero, that is exactly what Ixion felt like with Hypnos attached to him like that. So what if he was responsible for putting her into that mess, he didn’t mind it so much anymore if he could be the hero in her eyes.
When she detached herself, Ixion watched her take her phone and fall back against the wall. Though there was light in the tunnels now, it was still ambient. The light hit her hair in a way that made a sunny halo on her fair hair and playful shadows. “You’re welcome, least I could do when I found it there was bring it back to you.”
Ixion let out an arm to support himself against the wall and loom over Hypnos. He was getting to be a sucker for blondes. “Nothing to worry about now, got your phone, light, Thanatos and me.”

Ixion was right again. There was nothing to worry about now. The list was a bit out of order but she had Thanatos, Ixion, light and her phone. She didn't have to worry about what was looming in the darkness anymore and she didn't have to worry about finding her phone anymore. She had the soft body of Thanatos to cuddle and protect her and Ixion was a strong senshi who kept all the monsters at bay. She still didn't understand where the light came from though and she found herself looking up at Ixion as he was looming beside her.
"Where did the lights come from anyway?"

The grin on Ixion’s face spread wider. “Oh that? Me! I did it. Well, my magic did, I guess. I don’t know how.” He was in general, now that he no longer had to worry about finding Hypnos, pretty darn proud of the fact he was magically able to turn an endlessly dark set of tunnels into a light atmosphere. Ixion moved to have his own back against the rockwall. He tried to reach up to tap a white-ish colored lantern above, but he was too short to reach that. “This things are all over the place, even in the city.”

Way to go Ixion, you just got another badge of honour as far as Hypnos was concerned. Not only had he rescued her but he had turned the lights on as well? It was his magic that did it? How awesome was that? It meant no one else could do it and that he was special. No one else but Ixion would have been able to light up her world and for that she found herself looking at him a little wide eyed, those icy blue eyes looking at him like he was a knight in one of her storybooks.
It seemed that wasn't the cake topper though and when he mentioned a city she found herself in disbelief but hope as well.
"There's a city?"
"Ohhhhhh."
She wanted to see it.
"Whereisit?" She asked, words all a little jumbled.

“I’ll take you!” With that, Ixion leapt off the wall and snatched Hypnos by the hand. Ever eager to make up for what had happened, Ixion lead Hypnos back down the tunnels. This time he was going to be careful not to left go of her. The boy kept a mind out for gap in the floor, navigating around them. He constantly checked to make sure Hypnos was still there.
When they came upon the skeletal hand and stone, Ixion knew they were getting close to the city. “Hey, landmark. Almost there.” The boy pointed out the boney fingers, which to him were not at all frightening in the light. There was no need to be afraid of a dead thing.

Hypnos had been mostly quiet as Ixion had pulled her away from the wall and down the not so dark anymore hall of the catacombs. She was still cautious, her eyes looking around her, but she was able to move her legs productively so Ixion didn't drag her. However, when they passed the skeletal hand she froze for a moment, her eyes locking onto it. It wasn't too scary in the light, but she still looked at it cautiously like it might actually move.
In reality, it was more sad than scary. It meant there were people here once upon a time but now they were all gone. Why they were gone was a mystery to the child but now all that lingered from their was what lay in pieces on the ground. The thought was awfully sad, so she took a moment to try and think about what kind of person they were before they had died. They weren't always absolutely terrifying, right? They might have been, but in Hypnos' thoughts they were nice and kind. They would have helped her, possibly caught her, when she had fallen. Yes, certainly.
It was no longer as scary in the dark but that didn't mean she wanted to stay down here with it, just in case. She looked back to Ixion and then she nodded his head to her. She was ready to leave this place and see the awesome city of Ixion that awaited them.

The duo passed the hand and drew nearer and nearer to the city. The faint glow of the city’s lantern lights could be seen from a distance. The lights played with the darker underground shadows, illuminating parts of the city and creating a stark contrast to the dimmer tunnel.
Despite being lit up, the city was very still. It had many movable parts and pieces, like the elevators that extended to the cavern ceiling. There were mill wheels here and there, and other metal pieces that were rusted and useless now; who knew what function they may have had in the past. It was probably once an impressive looking city, but it was in ruins now. Stone and metal pieces were everywhere. Only half of the buildings were still standing in moderately good condition, others were rubble with half a wall still standing. Still, with the light from the lanterns, creating playful colorful glows, the dead underground metropolis was almost pretty.
Ixion stood with Hypnos as the gate to the city, this one was just two pillars. Its arch had long ago fallen down. “Well,” he said squeezing her hand, “this is it.”

Everything seemed much more nicer when you could see where you were going and actually observe and enjoy the surrounding of a new and mysterious planet so when they came upon the ruins of what was once a metropolis of the ancient planet, it was hard not to ooh and awe at all the details. The way the light hit the ruins to and the way the land seemed to glow at them to create an almost magical feeling was like Planet Ixion's way of apologizing to Hypnos for all the trouble it had caused with its old age.
"It glows, how pretty is that," she said softly, giving his hand a squeeze. "It must have been amazing."

“Maybe.” There was a ring of doubt in the boy’s voice. What he had heard about the past, and what he had seen for himself seemed to convey different stories. He wanted to believe what Hypnos was saying, that there was a magnificent past here. The city that lay before him must have been something great once, and not as his past self had called it: a prison. Ixion didn’t know which was true version of his planetoid.
Ixion turned to look at Hypnos, still holding her hand. “Ready to go home?” This planetoid might have once been his home, but it didn’t feel much like it now.

Hypnos didn't reply to him right away when he asked if she was ready to go home. She should have jumped for joy and cling to him to escape the prison but although the ride had started off bumpy and terrorized her, it had fell into somewhat of a sweet lull now. There were lights and she was no longer falling down holes or being chased by the undead. Instead she was enjoying the scenery of a mysterious world unlike any she had ever seen with Ixion. It was hard to want to just let it all go when there was so much to see and so much to do. Perhaps enough had been done for today but that didn't mean they couldn't come back.
Situation decided, Hypnos nodded her head to Ixion and smiled, "Let's go home."
