Michiko chuckled as she found the green slimy amphibian. This! Is a frog!" She announced, motioning for Zaira to look before Michiko pounced to try and catch it.

Zaira caustiously stepped forward to see the green lump. "It looks slimey." She said with a disgusted look on her face. "It's kind of...ugly." She said with a laugh.

Michi giggled and caught the frog in her mouth and tossed it in the air. It gave a panicked croak before it flopped on the ground and scrambled to hop away. Michi gave another giggle as she turned to Zaira. "I like the funny sound it makes" She giggled.

Zaira laughed with her friend. "It does sound pretty funny." She tried to immitate the frog's noise but it just came out as a squeak causing her to laugh even more. "Can you make it's noise?" She asked Michi, wondering if anyone could mimic the frog's noise.

Michi giggled at Zaira's attempt before trying to make the sound herself. But instead of a croak a deep throated sounding cough came from her mouth, which caused her to go crosseyed and actually cough from the after effects. After she giggled. "Apparently not She got out between giggles.

"I wonder if anyone can make its sound besides other frogs...it would be funny to meet someone who could." Zaira said with a fit of laughter shared with Michi. "You went cross-eyed!!" She pointed out when she could pull in enough air to speak.

Michi chuckled and head butted Zaira's shoulder softly. I dunno. We could find out! She said after she sneezed. At the cross-eyed comment she quickly crossed her eyes once more and tilted her head at Zaira before shaking ehr head to let her vision go back. "Hey! Bet I can beat you to that stump over there!" She said with a mischevious grin right before she took off running on her gangly legs.

Zaira hesitates for a moment then her brain processes what was going on and took off towards the stump as fast as she could. Granted, that wasn't very fast but she was hoping it was fast enough to beat Michi. "I'm gonna beat you!!" She shouted.

Michi giggled as she lessened her pace on her friend, to allow the blue girl to catch up to give her a fair chance in winning the race. It wasn't long before Michi found herself falling behind Zaira. She grinned wider at the challenge and dug her hooves into the ground, pushing herself harder, but just wasn't making it. She was right on Zaira's heels and it looked as if her friend had her beat.

Upon reaching the stump, Zaira noticed some figures off in the distance. One looked like her adoptive mother, Taoshira, and another little figure whom she didn't recognize. "Mommy?" She asked with her head cocked."Hey sweetie. Oh, who do you have here? Did you make a new friend?" Tashi asked Zaira even though she already knew the answer. "Hello dear," Tashi addressed Michi, "My name is Taoshira, but you can call me Tashi." She said with a smile. The small girl hid behind Tashi's back legs. "I found this little girl hiding in a cave. It seems she lost her mother so I am going to take care of her until we can find her mother." The last part kind of hung in the air, with an 'if we can' added on silently. "Her name is Schuyler, will you let her play with you two?" She asked. Schuyler hid behind her new mother's legs, feeling shy but perking up a little with the mention of play time.

Michi grinned up at the larger blue female, listening with rapt attention before peering between Tashi's legs at the new filly. "Hi there Schuyler! I'm Michiko! But Zai calls me Michi! We were just about to play hide and seek! Wanna join us!?" Michi asked excitedly. She was always up for new friends and new games. "Why were you alone in a cave? Did your mommy leave you? Oh and is there a different game you'd like to play instead of hide and seek? I'll play anything as long as its fun! Oh and can you make the sound a frog makes? Do you know what a froggy is? Where's your blanket? Do you not have it anymore?" Michi asked in a rush of questions towards the new companion as she pranced behind Tashi to inspect the new arrival.

Zaira shot Michi a look wondering why she was being so loud. Was she trying to scare her new sister. "Hi Schuyler, would you like to play with us?" She asked the brown filly.
"I-I I would like to play hide and go seek with you guys." Schuyler said timidly. "And my nickname is Sky if you would rather call me that." She said with more confidence. "There was a big storm one night any my momma was trying to take me to safety, but something happened and she wasn't in front of me anymore...I couldn't see through the rain but somehow I found the cave. I lost my blanket in the storm, I really miss it though. It was my favorite thing in the whole world, well, beside my momma." She said in a sad voice and took a minute to think. "I know what a froggy is, but I sadly can't make it's noise. I wish I could though, then I could talk to it!" She said excitedly.
Tashi watched the whole exchange with a smile. "I'll be right over there under that tree if you need me ok Sky? Zaira and Michi?" She asked all three in turn.

Michi gave an apologetic smile to the two other fillies. "Sorry, I get a little carried away with questions sometimes... Jonda calls me a motormouth.. Whatever that is.." She giggled and nudged Zai and Sky with her nose. "Alright. I'll seek and you two go hide! Kay?" Michi didn't wait for a response before placing her face on the rock beside them, closing her eyes and counting.

Zaira nodded her head in acceptance. "Who is Jonda?" She asked before staring at her friend. "You're starting?? Run Sky run!!" She yelled as she ran towards the stream.
Stunned, Schuyler just kind of stood there for a moment as it processed that the game had started. She wittingly ran towards Tashi and hid behind her in the shadow of the tree.

Michi giggled as she counted to twenty, a recent feat that Ramee had helped her with, before lifting her head off the rock and opening her eyes. "Ready or not!! Here I come!!!" She whinnied as she started towards the other rocks around her, figuring that someone might have hidden there. She peered behind all the rocks she thought possible, and upon not finding her friends, she turned towards the trees and stream. "I'm gonna find you guys!!" She giggled as she pranced eagerly towards the trees, hoping to find the two.
