...God damn. That looked painful, but, perhaps, not painful enough - Thing was regenerating and Cosmos was going on about something that made him pause. Uh ? Yeah, he was missing part of that particular memo, but now wasn't really the time to ask what she meant by 'as Nova.'
The youma was angry, and he was the closest victim - it lashed out and Themis moved out of the way, through the pincers sliced clean through his coat tails and part of his wing bows. That was a little too close for his taste, really.
And he wasn't keen of death by cosmic forces, so that only really left one thing. "Get out of the way !" He skidded to a stop, then spread his arms out.
"Themis Noise Shield !"
Not many people even knew that the noise shield had two possible purposes. Themis almost always used it for protection, be it of himself or others. If he ended up throwing it as an attack, it was usually when it was about to fade.
He had no idea what the hell was gonna happen now, but it was the closest to true magical offence that Themis had ever gotten.
Now, it was all different. He moved, 'wielding' the large, flat disk of noise much like one might a floating frisbee. He waited until he was certain he wouldn't hit Cosmos, then he spun and flung it at the youma's feet.
Normally, a weakened shield knocked things back - this was a little like a plane breaking the sound barrier - a big BANG and some shaking, kicking up dust everywhere. "******** !"
He really hoped he had hit, but he couldn't quite see.

They were freshly splattered as the disk hit the youma, throwing dust and acrid filth over everything in the alley. It was impossible to see, and Cosmos ran out of the alley coughing, hoping that the monster was out more in the open.
The large youma was twitching; it was missing most of it's legs, but the pincers were still sharp as ever. It hissed, clicking it's large jaws together, the multiple teeth grating together, black drool dripping from it's mouth. It was hurt but it was still determined to fight and maim, if it got close enough.
"Stay back," Sailor Cosmos yelled, hoping that Sailor Themis was somewhere where the dust was still quite thick. She was putting him in unnecessary danger by wielding her might in this place, but she didn't much want to see this piece of trash causing more damage, as it's hide was covered with dried blood, and pieces of bone.
"Cosmic Ray Subjugation!" A pillar of light crashed down from the sky, instantly deteriorating the black youma, and crushing the cement down, causing a sinkhole in the already pulverized street.
With wide eyes, Sailor Cosmos started to look for Themis, hoping that he was not gravely injured. Especially because of her.

The dust was starting to clear, but with Cosmos' words, he didn't intend to stick around to figure out just how much damage he ended up doing.
Given her previous words of her attack easily being able to kill him, he didn't intent to stay right there to figure s**t out. For a good reason, as made evident when the pillar of light came crashed down.
And he thought the stars were something else.
It did a fine job of clearing the leftover dust, as well as whatever had remained of the youma. But also, there was no sign of Sailor Themis.
This would probably be worrying - until Cosmos looked up to find the black-coated senshi hanging off a pole attached to the roof - a pole that apparently wasn't agreeing with the idea. given the rather dangerous tilt it was taking under the strain.
Gravity took over, and what must come down came down, through experience made it so that he fell easily on his feet.
"Damn !" Yeah, she hadn't been kidding. If he'd been in the path of that... There were a few cuts - flying pavement, most likely, and a lot of youma goo, but Themis was more or less in one piece.
The small circular marks along the wall and missing bricks were probably not Cosmos' work, through. "Holy..." It was hard to say if he was surprised senshi could do that much damage, or that he could do that much damage.

"I'm sorry!" Sailor Cosmos cried, rushing over to Themis; she was always such a bettering ram in these situations, one of these days someone was going to be gravely injured.
"Thanks for getting it in to the open, I can't do that; It's destruction or nothing, unless I am purifying. Which is, I guess, not something to sneeze at either, but none of my powers are meant to be taken lightly."
Cosmos smiled, and wavered a bit where she stood. Resting a fist against her temple, she smiled a bit wearily.
"I need to dehenshin, I'm a bit worn out from the night," without further ado, she did this, and frowned at the black goo now covering her nice coat from where her hair stuck to it, "besides, that glow can be seen for miles. It's safer if we vamoose."

"It's okay ! Im fine !" That had just been scary as hell. Through... purification ? "Do you mean like... Curing negaverse agents and corrupted senshi ?"
...Interesting. This wasn't something he had thought could truly be done. Then she henshined down and there was goop on her coat. Themis could sympathize - he didn't want to know how much goop was stuck to his hairs.
(There was a lot. There were multiple showers in his future)
"Do you want me to at least tag along until you're out of here ?" There was no secret that they weren't in the best neighbor, and well, danger was everywhere. He was feeling rather worn himself, but he would probably be able to squeeze in his normal attack.

Sidra didn't want to roll her eyes at Themis' display at manly manliness, but she also didn't want to hurt his feelings; the fact was that she had walked these streets many a night and had never run in to any problems that she couldn't simply run away from or henshin suddenly in order to get away.
Someone shooting her wouldn't be so good, but she didn't think two people together were going to deter a gun toting hooligan with a gun clip with more than two bullets. Anyway, the male senshi had been a great help with the disgusting youma, and she didn't have many friends anyway. The offer was kindly meant, anyway, so she stomped down on her feminist urge to snap her fingers in an S, and tell him to back his truck up, oh no he dinnt, and nodded a little more enthusiastically than needed.
"Safety in numbers!" Sidra added, annoyed by how fake sounding her cheer was. Truth be told, she just wanted to high tail it the other way, he was already asking questions. Questions led to uncomfortable answers that Sidra wasn't ready to give. Freely, that is.

These were important questions that Themis certainly thought one should have answers for... But it was easy to see how uncomfortable she seemed to be under her over-enthusiasm.
Had Themis been more of the type to press on, he would have - but he did not, and who knew if, one day, he would regret it ?
So he just nodded, and waited for her to lead the way.
