"No, I'm sorry, I haven't run across him." Keegan yawned and finished his glass of wine. He stood up and looked at Alli. "Well, I'm going to get a room and call it a night. If you want we can share a room, split the pay. Then tomorrow I can help you find your brother."

Ali smiled kindly. "Sure and thank you." She said as her face brightened.

MichaelaWhite18 Ali smiled kindly. "Sure and thank you." She said as her face brightened. Keegan smiled at Alli. "No problem." He walked over to the front counter and rented a room for the night. "Last door on the left." The person behind the counter said. He walked back over to Alli. "We are all set for the night." Keegan grabbed his bow and held his hand out to Alli.

Ali nodded "Okay." She said and took his hand following up the stairs.

Keegan reached the top of the stairs and led Alli to their room. Once there he unlocked the door and stepped in. He looked scanned the room. There was only one bed a small table and a chair. "You can have the bed." Keegan said to Alli.

Ali looked at him "No you, I'v slept on the ground before." She said smiling.

Keegan took off his pack and set it on the chair. He opened it and took out a thin blanket and laid it out on the floor. He laid on the blanket and looked up at Alli. "No, you get the bed." Keegan said teasingly with a smile.

Ali sighed and laid on the bed, she had almost forgotten how good it felt to sleep on a bed.

Keegan chucked at Alli as she sighed. He closed his eyes and smiled. "Not used to losing are you?" Keegan propped himself up his elbows and looked at Alli.

"Not really." She said smiling and sitting up "Me and my brother played games all the time and I always one, same goes for battles and brawls." She said smiling more.

Keegan looked at Alli quizzically for a moment. "You, fight?" He said. "I would've never suspected you of fighting." Keegan smiled and laid back down.

Keegan sighed. "Yeah, the roads can be pretty bad. Me, I don't fight much. I usually go around the confrontation or talk my way out of it. But if I have no other choice I will fight." He looked at Alli. "You should get some sleep now. It's late and I would like to be out of here by dawn."

Ali nodded "Alright." She said and with in a few minutes was out.
The next morning she woke and sat up. She slowly tiptoed out the door to get some food.
