xxx  ___═════════════_│║█│██║██║│ ＊ ___════════════════════════════════════════════════ xxx "O-of course I know where I'm going! To uh, your dorm..." xxx Anemone lifted an eyebrow. Did she over read her companion, or did he just cleverly word his reply around her question?
Shrugging it off, Anemone turned her attention back to her terrifying surroundings. Before she could suggest trying the one door
that looked different than the others, Hack blurted out his confession. xxx "Alright yes, I'm lost. They must have done SOMETHING while I was away because I was SO SURE the
dorms were this way..." xxx Once again, the girl craned her neck and turned to look Hack in the face. "You could have just said so," she laughed lightly.
How could a student not know where the dorms were? The Academy couldn't have changed that much since the previous school year.
Or wait... was he not a student? xxx "You know what, I suggest we leave stat."xxx Anemone snapped out of her thoughts, nodding almost violently in agreement. "That's a good idea!" She looked around,
realizing she was completely clueless as to where the exit even was. She had been a little too preoccupied freaking out over
being driven around like a shopping cart. "Um... which way is out, then?" ═════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ xxx

Hack laughed weakly, while attempting to avoid her gaze. Was her power something like compelling people to tell the truth just by looking at them? That right there was a pretty freaky thought...
"I don't frequent the dorms as much after I graduated," he said absently as he continued to push her trolley-style. "The only place I'm still familiar with is the kitchens and the pantry."
"That's a good idea! Um... which way is out, then?"
Hack paused to think while he looked around. The hallways stared back helpfully.
"I... have no idea. Maybe we should backtrack? Or -- hey there's a funny lookin' door over there..."
And without even thinking to ask his companion what she thought, he automatically steered her towards the said door. Did he think about what horrors might lie beyond that door? That it might possibly hold some kind of monster behind it?
Nope.

and the pantry." xxxOh! Anemone would have given Hack a funny look, if she hadn't been turned around the other way as he drove her around.
So he wasn't a student! Did that mean... he was a teacher? She wasn't quite sure anymore, but thought it rude to ask at this
point. So it hadn't been a coincidence he stumbled upon her in the first place, after all... despite his slim figure, it appeared that
Hack had quite the appetite. xxx"I... have no idea. Maybe we should backtrack? Or -- hey there's a funny lookin' door over there..." xxx "E-eeh?!" Anemone let out a small exclamation, half in disbelief that Hack had forgotten where they were and half as she
was taken aback by being steered towards the strange, creepy door. Pushing her hands out in front of her defensively, she let
out a small 'omph' as her hands hit the cold wood, pushing the door open. At this point Anemone screwed her eyes shut,
(thankfully out of Hack's view, how embarrassing), too afraid of what may lie behind closed doors. xxxAnemone slowly opened one eye, than another. The roomed seemed... colder somehow. Wrapped her arms around her body,
Anemone glanced back to Hack. "Don't you think... maybe snap decisions like that aren't always safe?" She said meekly, although
was comfortable enough to voice her opinion in the first place. Pausing, Anemone stopped to take in her surroundings. They were
surrounded by piles of fabric. Fabric was even hung from the walls, and bolts of the stuff lay in soft mountains. xxx "What... is this place?" ═════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════xxx

"E-eeh?!"
The poor girl's protests were duly ignored by the older man as overpowering curiousity compelled him towards the mysterious door. What mysteries could the room be holding...?
He pushed her into the door and it swung open easily. Piles upon piles of fabric met his vision. There was fabric on the floor, draping over the ceiling beams, splashed and pinned across the walls. It was as though they'd stepped into a fabric market. Hack drank in the view with the excitement of a 5-year-old, already itching to touch and explore everything in the room.
"Don't you think... maybe snap decisions like that aren't always safe?"
"... uh," Hack replied intelligently, just realizing now that in his moment of curiousity he'd completely forgot about safety. And he had a student with him too no less! Unforgivable.
"I'm sorry," he apologized, hanging his head in guilt as one hand absently scratched the scar on his nose, "I, uh, get ahead of myself sometimes..."
"What... is this place?"
"I have no idea..." he replied as his gaze started to wander around the room again... until it settled on a pair of glowing yellow eyes in a dark corner. Hack squinted, they looked like eyes... but.....
Forgetting about students and safety just as quickly as a goldfish, Hack started to move towards the eyes with Anemone still in his grip.
And then the eyes stepped forward to reveal a very tall, red and horned... thing.
Hack squealed in terror and practically grabbed the poor girl against him like a frightened child would a teddy bear, all sense of appropriate teacher behaviour thrown out the proverbial window. What in the world was this freaky thing?!!

xxx ___═════════════_│║█│██║██║│ ＊ ___════════════════════════════════════════════════ xxx Anemone studied Hack's face. He looked genuinely excited at the magic fabric land they had stumbled upon, eyes darting
back and forth across the room as he took the sights in. She personally couldn't help but feel as though they were somewhere
they shouldn't be; but that obviously wasn't a worry in his mind. The childish gleam in his eye reminded her of her younger
sister; although she wasn't too sure what that said about Hack. xxx She threw her arms up in the air, palms outwards as she attempted to reassure her teacher. "T-there's no need to apologize,"
she insisted, instantly feeling guilty for bringing his mood down. "No harm done, right?" She joined Hack in returning her attention
to their surroundings, trying to pick out a path somewhere among the heaping piles of fabric. Maybe there was an exit to outside
somewhere? Her glasses lurched down her nose as Hack began to drive her around again, catching her off guard. Completely
oblivious to what he was focused on, she was even caught more off guard when a figure stepped out of the shadows. And even
more caught off guard when Hack yelped into her ear and clung to her as if his life depended on it. xxx A small gasp escaped Ane's lips as her powers hiccuped, lurching herself and Hack weakly into the air about a foot in height.
She could feel her chest tighten and breathing quicken as she became more and more aware of Hack's grip on her. Thankfully,
her powers seemed to be behaving at the moment as their feet brushed the ground and they were promptly returned to the floor.
At first Anemone attempted to wriggle out of Hack's grasp, before connecting why he had freaked out in the first place. Her eyes
met the big red thing's, widening as she drank the sight in. She remained silent, expression blank. The red guy seemed
uncomfortable, caught off guard. xxx"Hello...?"═════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ xxx

Hack squawked with an extra dose of terror when he was suddenly lifted off the ground like a weightless feather. What was this...!
And then he noticed something (in spite of his panic, miraculously): Anemone was really, really tense, like a hamstring stretched to its fullest and about to snap. Was she... the one causing this floaty-ness?
But before he could ask, they'd dropped back to the ground.
And the red horned thing had stepped forward with a rather uncomfortable "Hello...?"
Hack stared back awkwardly, mind racing. Could this be a new member of the staff? There was a memo about it maybe two days back but he'd totally forgotten what the contents were. And anyhow, he wasn't going to take his chances, not with a student around.
"Um," he said with a nervous giggle, "sorry if we're bothering you we'll just be going now," he finished in a garbled mess, hurriedly wheeled Anemone out of the room and zoomed through the hallway back to where they came from. Safety first!
Hack finally came to a stop when they reached a more familiar hallway. He let go of her shoulders (at last) and paused to catch his breath, leaning against the wall for support.
"So!" he commented between wheezes and looked up at the girl, "back there... that floating... was that... you?"

xxx ___═════════════_│║█│██║██║│ ＊ ___════════════════════════════════════════════════ xxx Anemone gawked at the red figure in front of her. Those long. manly horns, his crimson skin, the way his ears pointed ever
so slightly... The girl almost seemed in a trance, completely unaware of how rude her gawking probably was. So... cute... Was
the only clear thought in Anemone's head before Hack whisked her off once more. The next few moments of being steered around
the hallway were all a blur, until Hack finally released her and seemed to be composing himself. xxx "So! Back there... that floating... was that... you?" xxx"Eeh?" Anemone had almost forgotten all about her power's little hiccup thanks to all the... excitement. "Oh, uh..." Anemone
rubbed her arm nervously. "Yes and no... I don't really have full control over my powers. Sometimes, they do little things like
that on their own." Hoping that answer would suffice, the girl ducked her head down in apology. "I'm sorry if it startled you." xxx Looking around at their surroundings, Anemone found that the hallways seemed rather familiar. "Do you know where we
are...?" Peering out a window, Ane found the courtyard outside also very familiar. Maybe they actually were close to the dorms...?═════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════xxx

Ah. Hack could only emphathize how that had to feel. At least he could simply shut machines up if he thought they were being noisy.
"Its alright, no harm done right? I'm sure you'll get the hang of... whatever it is you do, soon," he said with a wide grin.
"Do you know where we are...?"
That made him notice the surroundings for the first time. The hallways, and the courtyard... yes he found the dorms, at last!
"Oh hell yes I do," he declared with 120 percent confidence. He grabbed her by the hand (again) and led her down the hallway.
"If I'm not wrong it should be around..." he stopped right in front of a door with the numbers [???] embellished on it, "HERE! You're rooming with a Theodore it seems..." he squinted at the cursive print on the name card.

xxx ___═════════════_│║█│██║██║│ ＊ ___════════════════════════════════════════════════ xxx Was he always this cheerful? Anemone gave Hack a sideways glance before returning her attention back to the courtyard
beyond the window. She had to admit, despite the whole being man handled thing it was fairly uplifting to be in his company.
As Hack confirmed that he did indeed know where they were, she turned to face him, face bright. "That's great!" She exclaimed,
fists balled up in determination. She would find her dorm. xxx Before she knew it, Anemone was being dragged off again by Hack. She trailed slightly behind him, attempting to keep up
with the energetic male so her arm wasn't tugged off. xxx "If I'm not wrong it should be around... HERE! You're rooming with a Theodore it seems..." xxx Anemone's face lit up. Finally! It didn't even seem to register in her mind that 'Theodore' was a male's name. Turning to face
Hack, Anemone lightly slipped her hand from his. "Thank you so much for your time." Anemone ducked her head down slightly
in thanks. "I-I wouldn't have made it back here without your help." She paused, unsure of what exactly to say. Ane wasn't used
to really socializing with people around her age, let alone guys. "M-maybe I'll see you around?" ═════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════xxx

"No problem! I'm always here to help!" Hack's grin only widened. Even her speech patterns were so intriguing. Was she always this polite to everyone...
"M-maybe I'll see you around?"
"Sure you will, I'm around... a lot, and now I even know where your dorm is, " he added with a laugh, one hand reaching out to pat the shy girl on the head. "Well I gotta run, have fun exploring the school!"
And with that, he waved goodbye and headed back to the pantry. His baby was still waiting for him.
