Tybalt's gaze followed the direction she pointed and was about to start walking, but stopped when she added 'I think,' giving her a questioning look. He was beginning to wonder if she actually remembered the way. Not that he really minded if they had to do a little running around, nor could he complain about losing their way. He after all, had a terrible sense of direction himself. Though he liked to think he was getting better at it!
"I don't think I've ever gone in this direction before. This will be a first!" He grinned, bringing Tiberia up in front of him so that he could hold him with both arms; giving his arm a slightly lighter burden.
"So other than for coffee, what are you doing this far out in town?" He asked.

"Relaxing," The gryphon didn't even have to think about what she was doing in town today. Her answer popped out so fast it surprise surprised her a little. Tahki took a sip of the coffee and was surprised again by how good it was. It was so good she went ahead and took a second sip of it and licked a little bit of a foam mustache she had gotten away.
"W-whoah this is good~," Tahki chirped, "H-here if you don't mind germs. You try!" Tahki offered the cup to the black dog.
"I figured relaxing would be good before my trip to Lizzies beach house. I don't know her to well ... So its a bit odd. But getting out more I think is something I need to do," Tahki nodded and gave Tybalt a serious face, "Just another step to bravery."

He nodded. He could understand the need to relax. Especially when you were currently living at a place like Amityville academy. That place was a giant mass of stress.
"No thanks." He said shaking his head slightly when she offered the drink. "I don't often drink or eat anything unless it really appeals to me. Not much need for it otherwise. But I'll take your word for it, thank you." He smiled, glad that she at least got to enjoy this one.
"Lizzy... Lizzy..." He tried to re-call where he heard that name before but came to a dead end. "That name sounds familiar, but I don't think I know her. Sounds like--" He paused when he saw her expression, which caused his grin to spread wider. "Yep! Soon enough you'll be known as the fearless gryphon!"

"Oh-oh.. Right..." Tybalt was a ghost, how could she have forgotten that. To be fair, Tahki hadn't had much interactions with ghosts before coming to the school. And for that matter undead too where new to her too. The fact that they didn't always eat the same, or eat at all, some times was forgotten by Tahki. She walked silently beside Tybalt as he tried to recall who Lizzy was. But her mind came soaring back when he pointed out she'd be a fearless gryphon.
"W-what? You really think so?" Tahki gave Tybalt a bit of a disbelief look which melted in to something happy. "I hope so. " The gryphon confessed, "I'd really like to be able to ... you know .. just not be afraid to say whats on my mind.... and uh..." Little did Tahki realize she was saying what was on her mind right then and there. Tahki took another sip of her coffee trying to figure out what it was that she really actually wanted.

"Yep! See, unlike most who are scared of things, you're actually willing to face your fears," He pointed out. "and if you keep doing that you'll only get used to them right?" He wasn't sure if this could be said for everyone, but he had high hopes for Tahki. He was sure she'd be able to do just that. He on the other hand, couldn't really say the same for himself. He was still not willing to go near cats or even look at them without glaring. He still hated them. But thanks to the constant hounding from Night, he could say at the very least that he doesn't jump or panic around them as much anymore. Still, It would be a long time before he could say he had overcame his fear.
"Uh... left, right, or keep going straight?" He asked now that the path they had taken branched off into two more directions.

Tahkis put her finger to her lip in a thoughtful manner.
"Huh... I never thought of it like that... Hmm......." She tapped her finger to her lip and couldn't help but smile at that thought. There was no time to really discuss the issue of fears and bravery right then and there though. Tybalt had brought up a very good question.
"I think we..." She tapped her finger to her lip again, " I think its right there!" She pointed behind them. It would have seemed in the conversation they were having the two had passed the store completely. Tahki gave Tybalt an apologetic smile. "I .... suppose I forgot what we were doing for a moment."

"We did?" He stopped in mid step and looked back over his shoulder. She was right, even though he hadn't been to the store before, pet stores were unmistakable. Or most anyways and there it was. They must have passed it by while absorbed in conversation.
"Well, that's what we get for not paying attention." He added with a cheeky grin and turned around. Good thing Tahki remembered what it looked like!
"We can bring pets right inside right?" He asked, stopping right in front of the door; his hand raised and waiting to push it open. It had only just occurred to him that this may be one of those stores, despite being for pets, where you couldn't bring any of your own pets inside. He didn't see any signs saying he couldn't, but it was best to make sure and save yourself the embarrassment.

"We sure did.. Not sure how," Tahki eyed the building. It was kind of hard to miss but ah well. She had a good time talking with Tybalt all the same.
"Hmm... I m not sure. We can bring you mini in and find out," Honestly, Tahki was half joking. But that also meant she was half serious. She didn't see any signs to say any different and if the stores people had something to say to them then... Umm.. Tahki would be very polite and listen to them? No no no that was all wrong.
The gryphon tilted her hat forward and took a step in side the store holding her breath all the way.

"I guess we could." He agreed, holding the door open until both Tahki and himself were inside; only letting it close once the they were out of the way. He wasn't too worried. Most of the pet shops he had been to where decent and welcomed minipets as well as potential customers. This one was probably no different, and there were no signs saying otherwise, so he continued to believe this.
"I see leashes and stuff hanging up over there. The harnesses are probably hung next to them." he pointed out; looking back at Tahki before walking over towards said aisle.
Sure enough there they were and in a variety of sizes and colours. Good, it looks like they came in Tiberia's size too.
"Do we need to pick anything else up? Or is it just the harness today?" He asked, wondering if they should get all of their minipet shopping done now that they were here. It would save them both a trip on another day.

Tybalt found the harness no problem. The store seemed to have a very big variety of different colors and types, it was kind of amazing. Tahki could only stare at the displays with her mouth slightly open. It wasn't til Tybalts voice brought her back did she go.
"Huh?" Oh right, did she need anything. Tahkis nose twitched a little as she thought good and hard about it.
"Nah, I think I'm good on mini pet supplies..." But she stopped when she turned her head and saw bags and bags of shiny aquarium fish rocks. Tahki did not have an aquatic based mini of her own but she did have a love of shiny things. The treasure guardian in her jumped for joy. Tahki grabbed two bags with out a word and gave Tybalt a smile.
"Well.. Actually I think these .. Uh.. Lets go ring up~" She didn't really want to explain her sudden change of heart.

"Okay." he nodded when Tahki responded and pulled a black harness off of the shelf. It was plain, but it came with a neat little skull bell. Which meant that if he got off his leash, he could hear which direction he ran off in.
Ah! Leash!
Scanning the shelf he picked out a black one with a good length and tucked it under his arm so that we was able to pick up a bag of kibble for his pets. He had another few days worth back home, but he might as well get it now.
Once he was done, he began to make his way back to the counter, when a very loud whine like squeak rang out.
"Tiberia!" He hissed. He hadn't noticed how close they were to the toy section and forgetting the Celestial Rune's love for them, didn't think to keep him from pulling them off the shelf---which is exactly what he did; knocking a bunch more to the ground when he did. "Your starting to become more trouble than your worth." He warned, picking up the toys and putting them back on the shelf before he tried to pull the toy free. It gave an obnoxious whine that only a squeaker could make, but it didn't budge. Tiberia's jaws were clamped down on that thing like a vice grip. "You little..." He glared at the creature and gave a sigh. "I swear! I'm gonna' go broke with you around! Even Vere isn't as bad as you and he's a pup!"
With a harness, a leash, a bag of kibble, and a squeak toy trapped in Tiberia's jaws, Tybalt made his way over to the check out counter.
"Got what I need--and more." He turned a glare on Tiberia who stilled but refuse to let go. "What are those?" He asked, placing the items on counter and giving the two bags she held a curious look while he searched his pockets for his wallet.

Tahki had made it to the counter to check out but when she got there, Tybalt was not behind her. The gryphon lifted a brow and looked over her shoulder to find the ghost dog fast at work getting this and that for his mini. A smile curved on her face as she watched. It was amusing to her to see a boil care about his minis.
Not that she'd met a boil, or student who didn't really care for their minis yet. She just never thought of the boil as a softy.
Her wallet had already been out when the ghost dog made it to the counter.
"Please put all of this on my tab," Her hand went out to her rocks and all of Tybalts things he'd placed on the counter. A teasing cheeky grin sprouted on the gryphons face, "Told you I'd get you back~." Teasingly, she stuck her tongue out at him.
Tahki really did not mind paying for Tybalt at all. The black dog had helped her with her headphones, walked her home through a storm, bought her coffee and just been really nice to her.

Tybalt froze when she told the cashier to put everything on her tab, his stuff included.
"Wha---but it's expensive!" He squeaked. Even the squeak toy stuck in Tiberia's jaws wasn't the cheapest item there. Those things were always overpriced. But seriously, all together it was going to be costly. "A-at least let me pay for some of it?" He offered, trying to figure out what she meant when she said she'd get him back. Then he remembered the coffee.
The coffee... was a traitor!
He gave the offending beverage a look one would give a life long nemesis. Though it looked more comical than anything.

"Its alright." She assured Tybalt with a smile, "Your my friend so I don't mind," Tahki nodded to the cashier and gave him the seeds owed. The items were bagged and Tahki thanked the clerk.
The look from Tybalt hadn't gone unnoticed at all. What had gone unnoticed was what exactly Tybalt was giving the look at. Tahki raised a brow and sipped the offending coffee.
"Hey, I'm sorry. I should have asked but.... Uh..." She scratched her head, "We can hang out some more okay? How about some time after my trip we do something fun?" She gave him another smile and scratched her head. The offending coffee bubbled a little.
Possibly just some trapped air. Possibly the coffee was laughing at Tybalt.

"Thanks Tahki. That was really kind of you!" He said and gave her a smile; tearing his glare away from the coffee momentarily.
To be honest he could barely remember a time when someone had given him anything other than a detention or a headache. There was that foxfire wisp Jove had given him a while back, and his pumpkin charm that his older sister, Nolita, gave him when he was younger. Other than that? He really couldn't think of any.
"It's okay, I'm really thankful for the gift and I know Tiberia is too." His smile grew into a grin when she asked to hang out again. "Of course! I'm usually always available to hang out. Feel free to drop by any time you want." He agreed and sent another glare towards the coffee.
Laughing now was it!?
