Proudly_Jewish Is it just me, or is there some kind of connection between Sweden and Finland? As far as I can tell though, Finland is not Scandinavian culturally. Finland belonged to Sweden before. Then Russia came and made it theirs. I think they got their independency back in 1917. The only difference is the language, everything else seems pretty Scandinavian to me. And when I come to some places I feel like I'm home, 'cuz every sign and such is written in Swedish, too. ^-^ I don't know if every sign is written bilingual in all of Finland, but at least they are where I've been.

Nej, jeg er ikke københavner, jeg er amerikaner. Min forlovede er fra Nordsjælland. Mener du, "har du ikke?" Jeg har ikke prøvet det kolde bord. Kokoroki og smørrebrød er "Sandwiches" rigtig? Nej, ikke helt. Sandwiches har to stykker brød med ting i midten. Smørrebrød har et stykke brød med ting på. Selvfølgelig har det stykke også smør på. Her er et billede af smørrebrød. Mmmm! biggrin
