Sanguine knew his daughter was asleep but could help but respond. "I wont little one... not this week..." He said and kissed her head again. He hated having to leave her. With her mother dead after a car accident, She was alone except for her nanny when he left.

Scarlet then loosens her grip some but still hung onto him. Her little ears twitched hearing him and she was holding her tail like she did when she lost her mother about a year ago. She didn't want to lose her father too. She remembered how sad she was when her mother died at the hospital telling her things would be okay. That night they stayed at the hospital just in case and her mother died in her sleep. She then saw a familiar face in her dream and saw it was her mother. She started to smile in her sleep and started to wag her tail like she did when she saw her father when he came home.

Sanguine closed his eyes and soon fell asleep holding his daughter. His dreams were meaningless. He breathed relaxedly and held Scarlet even during her sleep.

Scarlet wakes up around dinner time but didn't want to leave her father's arms. She smiles and lays her head on him as she tries to wake up. Like any 5 year old she had trouble waking up after a nap and wanted to be in the comfort of her father's arms.

Sanguine woke and yawned. He hugged Scarlet and kissed her head.

Scarlet then sits in his lap and smiles laying her head on his shoulder. "I love you daddy." She said softly and holds onto him as she tries to wake up from her nap.

Scarlet then smiles and stays close to him. She then asked "Can I help you make dinner daddy?" She then looks at him with the look that said Pwease daddy I want to help any way I can.

Sanguine smiled and nodded. "Of course you can." He said and stood while holding her. "What do you want to eat?"

"Can we make your mac and cheese daddy?" She asked laying her head on his shoulder. She loved her father's mac and cheese since he used meat and other things to make it tasty.

Sanguine smiled. "Of course." He said and took her to the kitchen. "Get the ingredients from the fridge and I'll get the herbs."

"Okay daddy." She said going to the fridge and getting the ingredients and taking them to the counter. Then going back and closing the fridge. She loved to help Sanguine cook. She wanted to be like him only not a fighter but a dancer or a chef. She loved to cook and loved to dance. She even took dancing lessons but couldn't decide between a dancer or a chef yet. SHe knew how to cook a little but had to make sure she had an adults help since she was only five.

Sanguine grabbed the herbs he always used and brought them over to the stove. He loved to cook, and loved it more when Scarlet helped him. He Smiled as he pulled out a frying pan.

Scarlet then grabs her step stool she used to help him cook and smiles as she fills a pot withwater to boil the noodles and keeps an eye on the water so it didn't get too heavy to carry. Once it was half full she steps down and carries the pot carefully over to the stove. "Here's the water daddy." She said putting the water on the stove top before he turned it on.

"Alright." He said as he mixed the herds together. "You know, I decided I'm not gona go back to the arena's till my hand heals. It'll give me sometime were its just us." He said as he mixed cheese and meat in.
