The whole trip, Tyler was getting prodded about the morning. He, of course, gave back as much as he got. It wasn't till he was in his first class, his feet up on his desk as he leaned his chair back on two legs, did his day really begin. He hated school, but he had to continue going. Don't know why. With powers like his, he should be able to do whatever he wanted. But, better to play it the adult's way for now.
It wasn't long before the bell rang, and all the students shifted into their seats. Tyler had grabbed his ear buds and player with some rock music playing in his ears, headless to the fact that the bell had just rang.
(If you want to play your whole class out, fine. But I find playing classes unless something important is suppose to happen is boring and kills role plays. Maybe the whole new student thing, take your seat and something? Then skip to lunch and socializing.)
(I was rather hoping more people would join, and some would be brotherhood students to spice things up. But, for now...)

Arkios released the breath she had been holding, the day was finally over. She walked eagerly to the bus, happy to be free from the dreadful building. It had been as she imagined it would. She walked onto the bus and saw the students she had seen this morning. She was the last one on. She took a seat and looked around. She saw the boy from this morning, Tyler, if she was remembering correctly. Shortly they had arrived back at the School for Gifted Youngsters. They all walked inside and she noticed the questioning looks she got as she walked with them. The doors opened and she heard Caira. "Everyone gather in the meeting room, I'd like to introduce a new student here", she said. Immediately I was nervous. She called me over and led me to the meeting room. "This is Arikios Leafoon. She will be joining us here", she said. "Arkios, please introduce yourself and your codename", said Caira. "Hi, I'm Arkios, and um, my codename is Shadow",said Arkios, probably the color of a firetruck by now. The past two weeks were all she knew, but she had found out quickly that she was a very shy.

Some of the kids snickered at each other, watching as Tyler was too busy sending sparks from finger tip to finger tip. Honestly, he wasn't paying much attention at all.
One of the other students, he was wearing glasses raised his hand and asked, "What kind of powers do you have?"
Caira looked at the student, "That isn't a very nice thing to ask. She can tell you if she wants to, but don't be so rude Andrew." She wasn't mean in how she said it, just more so mater of fact like.

Arkios thought again of the words that had been used to describe her powers, "Ummm, I can turn invisible. Other than that heightened agility and strength". She was curious about the others, but held her tongue, figuring she would find out soon enough anyways.
"Alright everyone, time to head to the practice chamber", said Caira. Caira turned to Arkios, "Follow the others to the chamber and you will all be given instructions upon arrival". She followed. They soon arrived at a room that was at least two or three football fields in size. She took in her surroundings. Jets and walls lined with guns. So this is where they would practice. She braced herself for whatever might happen next.

Name: Danny Codename: Mindwipe Age: 14 Description: Lean, yet short. Has blond hair cut in a boy comb over, though it often becomes messy and seems to have a mind of it's own on how it wants to look. He has fair skin and blue eyes. Personality: He can be intense when he needs to be, but often feels embarrassed about even the slightest mistake. Often one to speak out against things he feels are wrong or unfair. Can be called the conscious of the group. Powers: Kinetic Shields, Close ranged Telepath, Uncontrolled mental absorption with touch (hands). History: Comes from a rather rural town with a good set of parents. He's an only child who often is bullied in school for is honesty and habit of trying to correct people. He discovered about his powers after a rather confusing incident where a bully grabbed him and ended up being absorbed into Danny's mind. After the effects wore off, he soon was found by Charles Xavier and sent to the nearby school for gifted youngsters. Likes: Reading, learning and school in general. Minus the bullies of course. Hates: The drawback of his powers. Though he can control it to some extent, if he isn't paying attention at the wrong time, things can get rather confusing for him. Fears: Not becoming himself if he absorbs someone else's mind and personality. Also fears hurting other people with his powers. Heritage: Strongly of British decent for the most part, though was born and raised in the USA. Weaknesses: His powers are still developing, so sometimes things just might not go as planed. (I was hoping to work on character and personalities, but I can get to the bruising of an ego or two first...)
"Here is where we run all our battle simulations. It's called the," Caira started to say, but was cut off by Andrew, "The Danger Room."
"Yes, Andrews. It's called the Danger room. No one is to use this room without a professor as it can be dangerous. Normally, this room will not preform any action you can not handle, as every training scenario is crafted to each individual," Caira explains.
"Yeah yeah. Can we get to the smashing part?" Tyler interrupted this time, cracking his knuckles.
"You first." Caira growled.
"Fine. I'll show you how it's done." Tyler walked into the room now, as everyone else stayed in the control room to observe.

Arkios followed the others to the control room, Anxious to find out what would happen next.
"Alright, are you ready out there", Caira said into a microphone that made her voice ring loudly in the danger room. Tyler nodded where he was. Caira tapped a few buttons and began the practice.

Tyler gave a confident thumbs up to the control room, a grin on his face as he readied for the action to come. The room hummed to life as arms reached out of the walls. Some weapons also popped out and narrowed in on their target. Soon, the room was a flurry of action.
Tyler took no time to take to the air, throwing lightning from his hands at any arms that tried to grab him. Meanwhile, he dodged the lasers shooting down in predictable patterns.
However, one arm managed to get around behind Tyler, grabbing him around the chest and trying to pin his arms to his sides. It didn't take long though for him to rip free, taking the metal clamps off the arm grabbing him.
As the room seemed to wined down, Tyler gave an arrogant smirk, landing with grace onto the floor. In a show off move, he pumped his arms. However, the program wasn't threw and one of the arms smashed into him, sending him sprawling across the floor. In a fit of rage, he grabbed the arm and proceed to rip it apart one piece at a time. Taking it out of the wall while he was at it.
(Just glossing over events, seen as nothing important is really happening here, besides a bruised ego and a bit of a temper.)

Arkios watched s the room came to life and the fight began. Before she could blink it was over. I guess this is what training is like, huh, she thought to herself
Caira had Tyler come up with them and then the next student went out for their turn, and so on.
Eventually it was her turn. "All right Arkios, you can head down now", said Caira. Arkios took a breath and braced herself as she headed down. The others had made it look so easy, but she knew that her opinion would change once she had tried.
The room booted up once again and she was in the middle of it. She jumped to the roof and clutched onto the loose panel with one hand so she wouldn't fall. She examined the machines as they came at her. she jumped back to the floor just before they reached her. Think, she thought to herself, The arms are all identical, so where's the weak point? She found it. The joint made a certain noise every time. If she could just hit that point it would be a sinch. She promptly took care of each one. She stood in the middle of the motionless arms. So this is training, she thought as she stood drenched in sweat, Should be fun. She smiled to herself.

(Okay, I'm going to start an "Episode". So the first part of this post is information your character isn't going to know. But it will help build up the role play story. Also, be careful about controlling other people's characters. Though I didn't mind how you did it with Tyler (as it boosted the speed of the story), some people in other role plays might not be happy with that.)
Danny started the day like any other middle school student. A bowl of cereal, grabbing his backpack and running out the door to try and avoid the kiss from his mother before he left. He was a walker, one of those kids that walked from home to school. Living too close for the buses to pick him up.
It was in the woods between the school and his house that he first heard the snapping of twigs behind him, then the voice of an older kid. "Hello Danny old pal."
Danny turned around to face this creep. He has known him for a while now. They didn't get along, at all. "What do you want this time. Whatever it is, I don't have it and I'm not giving it to you even if I did." Dan started to turn around when the other kid's hand spun him to face him.
The older kid stuck his face inches from Danny's. "This is actually very simple. I only want your lunch money. Give it to me now and there wont be any problems."
"Go suck a lemon. It's my money. I'm not giving it to you. Now scram or I'll tell a teacher." Danny snorted back.
"Teacher? There aren't any teachers here Danny old pal. Give me the money or I'll make you." The older kid grabbed Danny by the front of his shirt, lifting him up. "Got that kid?"
Danny swung his legs to try and gain a purchase. "I'm... not... giving you anything!" He struggles to say.
"You're fault. This could have been real easy. Just remember, you're the one that made me do this.." The older boy threw Danny to the ground. Dan had just enough time to stand up before a fist was slugged at him, knocking Danny once again to the ground.
However, when the fist collided with Danny's face, the older boy's eyes went wide, and he crumpled to the ground, wide eyed and mumbling incoherently.
When Dan sat up, he rubbed his jaw for a moment, and looked at the other boy. "Why is my body over there? Wait? No! I'm Danny!" Grabbing his head by the temples, Danny started to panic, his eyes closed as he tried to clear his head. "Get... out of my head! You jerk..." Who was speaking at this point, not even Danny knew, as he got up and stumbled away from the other boy, still drooling on the ground. He walked in a struggled manner, but as he walked, he was feeling better. Either distance or time was making the other voice in his head diminish, but not before Danny fell to his knees, slipping on some loose leaves.
(This, for the record, isn't anywhere near us. We start at the end of a school day. I'd say you've been there a couple days. Enough to know what's going on for an X-man.)

Arkios woke up to the alert system, it was the one to call them to the meeting room. She threw her hair into a pony tail and slipped on her uniform before heading there. Once everyone had arrived and taken a seat Caira explained the situation. "There has been a new mutant detected and we have been assigned with contacting him. I will be taking three of you with me there, who would like to go?", she inquired.
Arkios raised her hand, thinking This might be interesting. Caira made a scribble in her notebook, waiting for others to volunteer.
(If we aren't supposed to go find him, let me know and I'll delete this. I know it's not near us but they do go find people right? If I'm wrong let me know)

(Sorry it took me so long. Got busy and was really thinking hard on where I wanted this story to go.)
The room filled with raised hands (I'm gonna say there probably is like, a couple other kids here, but they aren't very important other than if someone wants to just start inside the school already). Tyler stood up when he volunteered. "I think I should lead this mission. I am the most experienced one here." You could see a couple of the other students nodding their heads in agreement. They were typically the group that followed him around anyway.
"Well, that does it then. Tyler, Arkios annnndd," Caira dragged on the last name, as the other students were pushing forward to get in on the action. "and Andrews." With that, you heard several sighs of disappointment, and one arm pumping cheer. "Of course, I'll be heading out as supervisor. Now, this is serious, so no joking." You could see her glare daggers into Andrew, as he seemed to be one known for trying to pull jokes around. "Now. Get your things, we head out shortly."
Tyler walked out the room, filing out with the rest of the students. He had a coy grin on his face. His first mission where he was in charge. (Or so he thinks...)

After she gathered her things for the mission, Arkios ran downstairs to met Caira and wait for the others. Caira handed Arkios the mission details and she began looking over them. She reviewed the names and faces, making sure not to forget them.

Tyler was already at the helipad when the other three members of the team arrived. Caira boarded the x-copter first, a jet black sleek looking helicopter with sturdy sides and a fairly large body. She started to prime the engine and preform the preflights.
"Okay, newbe. Lets get this straight. I'm running this mission, so you better listen to me," Tyler jibbed as Arkios approached. "Just try not to get in the way." He walked onto the X-copter with those final words.
Andrews walked behind Arkios after her encounter with Tyler, "Don't worry. He's really not as much of a jerk once you get to know him. He's just got a... rough exterior?" He knocked his head for the bad pun, hitting the bony protrusion that covered his forehead. He, as always, was wearing a hat to cover it up from public view.

"I don't mind how he acts as long as he's reliable when we're on the field", she said, smiling to herself. Arkios followed them into the X-copter and took her seat. She watched out the window as they went higher and higher up. I wonder what this new mutant will be like, she thought.
