Ako ng Republika ng Pilipinas I am the Republic of Philippines The Kind-Hearted Sophomore Ang pangalan ko ay Chesa Nenette My Name is Chesa Nenette Chesa glanced back at Kira as she moved, feeling a sigh bubbling back in her throat. The older girl seemed to be calming down some, which was a good sign... Her eyes fluttered as Kira pulled a beer from her handbag. What the heck?! "Um, n-no thank you, Kira." She declined, smiling more easily now. When she noticed that a beer wasn't offered to Astrid, she had a sinking feeling in her gut that another spat was about to arise. But she sat down again, leaning back in the chair, her eyes on the sheathed sword on Kira's back. The girl had been quite defensive about Astrid touching it... and she'd even referred to it as a 'her.' How odd... Chesa mused, playing with her hair so most of it fell over one shoulder. "That's quite a blade." She commented, fixing her gaze from the sword to Kira. ****************************************************************************** O.O.C: Sorry if it's confusing you, Vaimo... Being Filipino, Chesa speaks her native tongue sometimes, especially when she's losing her patience ^^; ******************************************************************************

Kaliningrad Oblast (К а л и н и н г р а́ д / / K ö n i g s b e r g) Too awesome to be a junior Kaliningrad perked up rather happily at the mention of her sword, "Miens Schönheit? She is isn't she," A smile arose on her face, her red eyes wondering upwards, "She was hand crafted when I was young, back in Prussia. She was my first birthday present," She began to twirl the lace of her boot on her thigh, "Russia wouldn't normally let me have her with me, but I'm sure he won't find out in school," She gave the girl a wink, as if she was telling her not to tell him. - Miens - My (( It's on my hip, but that's fair, I don't have a picture, so xD))

Ako ng Republika ng Pilipinas I am the Republic of Philippines The Kind-Hearted Sophomore Ang pangalan ko ay Chesa Nenette My Name is Chesa Nenette Chesa listened to the girl, resting her elbows on her knees, interlocking her fingers, and leaning her chin on her hands. She was glad that she'd turned Kira's train of thought away from Astrid, for however long that would last. She listened to her short explanation, taking in every word. She was a little intrigued by her Prussian history, but set that interest aside. "Quite a present," she stated lightly, giving a small chuckle. "Your secret's safe with me." She added. Her eyes flickered over once to her glaive, a nervous tendency of sorts just to make sure it still rested on the wall. The history behind the weapon was less cheerful that Kira's, but she shook her head to the old memories. She turned her gaze to a window, still sensing something... evil outside the confines of the school. She'd felt it even on her way to the dorm, but she'd just put it off as a hallucination because of her nervousness. Now, despite her curiosity and slight worry of the sensation, she was hesitant to go investigate, fearing what damage could be done if Kira and Astrid were left alone...
Just as she was rising to leave, emotions getting the best of her, the evil presence vanished. She let out a small sigh, walking over to one of the beds and collapsing on it. She rolled over to stare at the ceiling. "If I fall asleep, you two aren't gonna try to kill each other are you?" She asked jokingly. ******************************************************************************

Kaliningrad Oblast (К а л и н и н г р а́ д / / K ö n i g s b e r g) Too awesome to be a junior "Thank you," She smirked, running her finger along the hilt, almost looking as if she were going to make out with it, "She's been with me though everything," She looked over to the glaive against the wall, tempted to ask about how she came into possesion of it, after all, Kaliningrad found it quite beautiful (but not as beautiful as her sword). She would ask in the mourning, as she could see the girl was tierd and was sure that she hadn't helped. "We wouldn't dare, we'd wake you, so the excerise would turn out pointless," She laughed jokingly, "I think she's close enough to going to sleep anyway," She nodded over to the girl who was leaning back in her chair.

Ako ng Republika ng Pilipinas I am the Republic of Philippines The Kind-Hearted Sophomore Ang pangalan ko ay Chesa Nenette My Name is Chesa Nenette Chesa noticed Kira's eyes lingering on her own weapon. She would tell the story behind the glaive if Kira wanted to hear it... She got back to her feet, laughing at Kira's reply. "You're right. But I think she's got the right idea." At that, she opened one of her bags, digging out a tank top and pajama pants before heading into the bathroom. As she changed, she glanced at the mirror, seeing her scarred body. There were quite a few; all countries has at least one. Her hand ghosted over one stretching across upper arm and continuing over her stomach. "Antonio... She whispered, yanking her tank top over her head. She sighed heavily and stepped back out with a small yawn. She plopped down on the bed she'd claimed previously, staring at the ceiling. "I'm going to sleep, good night." With another heavy sigh, she rolled over and closed her eyes. ******************************************************************************

Ako ng Republika ng Pilipinas I am the Republic of Philippines The Kind-Hearted Sophomore Ang pangalan ko ay Chesa Nenette My Name is Chesa Nenette Chesa's eyes fluttered open at the soft chirping of the alarm on her watch, which had been thrust under her pillow sometime during the night. She slipped her hand under the pillow and silenced it before rolling onto her back and staring at the ceiling as she gave a quiet yawn, stretching all the while. "Umaga na?" She mumbled, pushing herself upright, digging out her watch and strapping it back on her wrist. With another yawn, she slid off the bed and grabbed her uniform on her way into the bathroom, fixing her hair after changing and making sure the jasmine flowers were pinned safely in the locks.
She stepped out and into the little kitchen area and made some toast for herself and then some for Kira and Astrid. She ate as she packed her bag, humming quietly to herself as she did so. Once she was sure she had everything, she got to her feet, schoolbag over her shoulder, and headed for the door. She stopped and glanced back at the girls. "I'm heading out," she called to her roommates. "Try not to kill each other." She added, almost jokingly, as she left, letting the door close softly behind her. ****************************************************************************** Translations Umaga na? = Morning already? ******************************************************************************

Ako ng Republika ng Pilipinas I am the Republic of Philippines The Kind-Hearted Sophomore Ang pangalan ko ay Chesa Nenette My Name is Chesa Nenette Chesa made it to her dorm room, managing to open it without any problems and dropping her school bag in front of it as a means of keeping it open. She put her grocery bags onto the countertop and pulled out the animal food, heading over to her bedside to see a ball of gray fur curled into one of her pillows, red beady eyes peaking out from a ball of feathers next to the furball. The raven gave a welcoming cry as she reached out to stroke the animal's neck, letting it climb onto her shoulder as she pet the mess of gray. The bearcat raised its head at her touch, grumbling happily at the sight of her. "Did you guys miss me?" She asked, earning a nuzzle from both as a reply. "Alright, let's feed you... She pulled out a nut mix. "For Itim," She poured it into a small bowl on her nightstand, the raven jumping down to eat. She put another bowl down on her bed, a mix of bits of meats and greens inside. "And for Abo." She finished, getting to her feet as they started to eat and heading back to the kitchenette to put the actual groceries she had bought away. ****************************************************************************** ******************************************************************************

Eduard Von Bock Sophomore / 10th grade Eduard manage to get a glimpse of Chesa's dorm. Inside he saw what appears to be a raven, and a strange animal. What strange pets. he wasn't a zoology expert, but he figured that furry creature was a bear-cat "W-Well... You take care of yourself. If you like, I thought we could practice our magic together later on. I'll be over at my dorm." If you ever need help with your studies, I'd be glad to help. R-Russia's not here, is he?! Translation

Chesa glanced over her shoulder at the Estonian. "Yeah, I guess you could say that." She said with a shrug. "That's Abo and Itim. Guys, this is Eduard." She quickly introduced, the animals looking to him again. Itim, the raven, gave a small cry before fluffing up his feathers proudly. Abo simply grunted, curling back into a ball on the bed. "As for the magic, I'll pop by later, I just need to grab a snack and get these growing." She answered, pulling the jasmine seed packets out of the bag and putting the rest of the food away. ****************************************************************************** ******************************************************************************

Ako ng Republika ng Pilipinas I am the Republic of Philippines The Kind-Hearted Sophomore Ang pangalan ko ay Chesa Nenette My Name is Chesa Nenette Chesa glanced over as Eduard left, her gaze flickering to Itim and Abo, the latter cracking open an eye to look at her. Grabbing the seed packets, she plopped down the bed, bouncing the bearcat a little and earning a low grunt. She smiled and stroked his back in apology before pulling leaning over to the flower pots on the windowsill above her bed. She opened the seed packets and planted the tiny things into the dirt. Very carefully, she pulled the white jasmine flowers out of her hair and cupped them above the pots. She closed her eyes, feeling the stroke of the petals as she focused. Her hair gave a soft flutter as magic coursed through her body, the flowers in her hand glowing brightly.
"Gleam and glow, flowers of white, my magic's aide, help pierce the night." She whispered, feeling warmth spread through her body. Her eyes slid open and stared at the sight before her, the white light of the jasmine flower falling off her hands almost like water, pooling over the pots. The soil shifted as small shafts of green rose from it, tiny little buds branching off, then suddenly blooming before her eyes. The glow of her hands fell away, the flowers held there looking wilted. "Thank you." She whispered before tossing the petals out the window. She leaned back and fell onto her bed, exhaustion working itself through her muscles, and feeling a warm lump, Abo, press into the crook of her arm. With a soft flutter of wings, Itim curled against her other arm. She closed her eyes. Maybe she would rest for a little bit first... ****************************************************************************** ******************************************************************************

Ako ng Republika ng Pilipinas I am the Republic of Philippines The Kind-Hearted Sophomore Ang pangalan ko ay Chesa Nenette My Name is Chesa Nenette When Chesa woke up, it was a few hours later, sunlight passing through the window to strike her closed eyelids. She winced and gingerly opened her eyes, glancing at the two animals still curled against her side. Being careful not to jostle them, she pushed herself upright and glanced at the flower pots. The jasmine had grown well, now looking as if she'd been growing them for awhile. Plucking a few of the flowers, she pinned them into her hair before changing into her street clothes, a white tank top and green skirt. I suppose I'll head over to Eduard's now... She thought as she entered the kitchenette, putting a kettle of water on the stove for some tea. Once that was done, she pulled her bag off the floor and pulled the rice cakes left over from Home Economics out and started to finish those, stacking what little was in her bag onto the end of her bed.
The sun struck the blade of her glaive, drawing her eyes to the weapon. Should she bring it with her? Eduard said that he just wanted to practice magic, but what if he wanted to practice his weapon skills or they ended up practicing until nightfall? She sighed; better safe than sorry. Her fingers curled around the weapon, which almost seemed to throb under her touch. She mumbled something under her breath, small words in Filipino, and the bladed pole seemed to warp in the air before literally dissolving into her skin, a black mark twining around her forearm as the blade vanished. It was a technique she had learned quite some time ago, a summoning circle, in a way, that allowed her to carry her weapon without it being visible.
She finished her rice cakes just as the kettle started to shriek from the kitchenette. Once she made the tea, she filled a thermos with the sweet smelling liquid and went over to her half-awake pets. "I'm going out. You two behave, okay?" Abo grunted and nuzzled her stomach for a moment before curling back up. Itim crowed at her and jumped on her shoulder and nuzzled her neck. She shook her head, picked him up, and set him back on the bed. He cried out again before puffing up against the pillows. She sighed. He always wanted to go with her... Turning on her heel, she headed out for the boy's dorm. ****************************************************************************** ******************************************************************************

"Rise for me the souls...The heroine commands...You must obey my rules...or the punishment stands..." ------------- Melody silently walked into the room. She hadn't had her coffee, or anything sugary to make her hyper. "I share a room with Chesa?I hope I get to meet her soon." She yawned as she rubbed her eyes. Her dull eyes glared at the pets. She unstrapped her crossbow off of her back. The state simply pushed it under her bed. She didn't have her uniform on because she had just gotten to the school, and all she had on was a white dress with a black cloak. It wasn't her style, but she was in a rush.
Melody smiled at the pets. She hoped she didn't creep them out. She got up and walked over to her bed and flopped down on it. "It's night, so I should stay in dorms until it's morning." She yawned some more. "I wonder where Arty-chan is at." (She calls Arthur 'Arty.') "I'm the main heroine, I should help, but principal says because I got here so late that I should just stay. Whatever. Not like a crossbow could do anything to help." The tired state shouldv'e really enchanted her crossbow, but she was too lazy. "The spells will show, the magic will glow. Maybe in time if you wait, it will snow."A chant that was supposed to boost someone's energy, but it didn't seem to work.
Of course that spell did glow, but then it slowly dimmed out. "Nothing works. Just too tired, haven't slept in days. Must sleep...Too wired to sleep. Damn ittt."

Itim the Raven
Itim was nothing but a ball of ebony feathers curled up on Chesa's bed, her head nestled under one of her wings. Upon hearing the door open, her head slipped out, red eyes fixing their gaze on the newcomer, who seemed to be glaring at them. She gave a small caw in greeting before jumping onto the bed frame and stretching out her wings. She was awake now, didn't feel like trying to go back to sleep. She glided over to Chesa's nightstand, where a bowl of nuts still sat. She started eating the nuts when she felt the new girl's gaze on her again. Itim turned and cawed happily to see the girl smile. But once she seemed to start falling asleep, the raven fell silent, not wanting to disturb her. It jumped up to the windowsill in hopes of seeing Master coming home soon. She was a bit worried...
Kulay-Abo the Bearcat
Kulay-Abo's head snapped up at the sound of the door opening, a small warning growl rumbling from him when he saw the girl enter. His hackles rose for a moment, but lowered when he heard his Master's name spoken by the girl. Was this the new roommate? He watched her as she moved about the room, tensing when she glared and unstrapped the crossbow, immediately threatened. But when she put it under the bed, he relaxed again. When she smiled, he gave a low grunt in response, almost nodding to her as he padded around the bed. He growled at Itim, not threateningly so, just to make the bird shut up. Nocturnal or not, Kulay-Abo could only take so much crowing before it got annoying. He noticed the girl cast a spell on herself and listened to her speak. So she was tired. He jumped down to the floor then up to her bed and lay a paw on her forehead, as if telling her to sleep. He sat down next to her to make sure that she indeed followed his silent directions.
