The elbow landed hard and Landry hard to work to escape his first pinning predicament.
"1...2..." And Landry pushes the arm off.

jarel now rises again, eyes narrowed on Landry. he waits for Landry to stand to attempt to clock him with a big right to the temple

Landry stood up slowly, but is knocked by the brick of a right hand and he stumbles into the turnbuckle.

the last thing Jarel can do is allow Landry to breathe. He's watched him long enough to know that. As such, he follows landry and attempts to hit several left and right body shots to the ribs

Landry is sunk into the turnbuckle by the repeated heavy body blows from the Dragon.

from here, Jarel looks to grab Landry by the throat and just choke him in the corner for several seconds, wanting to continue to wear the smaller, faster man down

Landry reached up and tried to tear the larger man's hands off of his throat as he struggled to breath.

Jarel eventually releases the hold and steps back, for some reason now deciding to let Landry come at him again

But Landry wasn't going anywhere. He slumped down into the corner, trying to regain his breath.

and now Jarel moves forward again, looking to catch Landry with a hard kick to the gut

Perhaps Landry was playing possum, because he slid out of the ring between the top and middle ropes, leaving his upper body in the ring but avoiding the kick. He rolled back into the ring, trying to hook Jarel between his legs and roll back into the middle of the ring in a modified schoolboy.

damn it to a fiery hell, Jarel is not expecting another pinning attempt from Landry, and is caught in the school boy

Jarel kicks out and once again rolls to his feet

Landry is up as well, and attempts a quick dropkick to knock Jarel down.

the pace is picking up once again, as a dropkick takes the Dragon down once again. he rolls to the ropes and pulls himself up again
