And Your Voice Was All I Heard...
Nodding to show he was listening, the spirit looked almost confused at her blush. He didn't know anything about Hip Hop dancing, or the music for that matter, so he wasn't quite sure as to why she was blushing. Maybe it was an embarrassing way of dancing? If so, why would she want to teach him how? He was very capable of embarrassing himself without help, but he figured Mizuki knew this. "Why would it be bad?" he asked, looking quite confused by this point. Why was Hip Hop dancing bad, but not too bad considering their time together?

Mizuki probably shouldn't have said anything. Now Pyry had to ask. "Well.. Um.. You see..." Her cheeks went bright red. "There is this think you can do with some dances called grinding and it's kind of like dry humping." The mermaid prayed that he knew what those terms were. He was a guy after all and Adney probably told him. They weren't in the best of places to really talk about it even if there was no one close by to hear them.

And Your Voice Was All I Heard...
A new blush colored his cheeks at this explanation, and while he couldn't speak for a moment, he simply nodded to show that he understood. The blush on her cheeks was the driving force behind his connecting the dots; while Adney had once attempted to explain the concept of humping and the like, it took him a moment to connect the word to it's proper meaning. Pyry still didn't understand contractions, let alone all these odd slang terms. "I, uh... see." he took a drink of water, keeping the cold glass in his hand a moment. Maybe he should just ask Adney later? He had tried just Googling these things once, but had had a traumatic experience when he had forgotten to turn on Safe Search.

It was nice to see that he at least was going to another source for that information. She didn't want to say it. It was a bit embarrassing to say the least. Adney would have to explain that stuff. "I heard the theme for the dance was rainbows so don't forget to find some things with rainbow coloring." the woman said chaning the subject just a little.

Rainbows? He didn't know if he owned anything that was rainbow colored, and he knew that Adney didn't wear bright colors. Maybe Cam would have something? Or he could always go to the clothing store and find something. Rainbows were pretty, at least, so it wouldn't be too bad; from what he had been told about dances, sometimes the themes got a little far-fetched. Personally, he had never been to a dance before, and hoped it would be fun. "What happens at dances? Besides dancing, of course."

Mizuki thought for a moment. A smile spread across her face. "Well there is socializing, being romantic with my cute boyfriend, we can take pictures." She answered thinking of a few things they could do. Dances counted as dates anyways. "We get to see who everyone else is dating too." She added thinking of something they could look at.

And Your Voice Was All I Heard...
Glad to have the subject changed from the embarrassing method of dancing. A faint blush appeared on his cheeks at the mention of her 'cute boyfriend', but he nodded to show he was listening. It would be interesting to see who was dating who, though he wasn't very good at socializing. He wasn't very fond of cameras either, though that was mostly because he didn't understand the strange device. "It sounds like fun." he observed, smiling faintly.

Mizuki smiled. She was glad that he seemed to like the idea even a little for going to the dance. It would be their first dance as boyfriend and girlfriend. She blushed a little. "I'm glad you like that idea. I really wanted to go to a real dance with you." She told him with a flash of her white teeth.

And Your Voice Was All I Heard...
It seemed that Mizuki was more excited for this dance than he had realized at first, and he smiled back at her. He was hardly going to tell her no when she wanted something this badly. He noted her blush, a tad confused at it's presence, and assumed it was because she was slightly embarrassed by her admittance. "Then we shall go together." he decides, hoping this would make her happy.

Mizuki's mind wondered into what she had told him in front of her father earlier about the baby that she would someday have with someone. Pyry seemed to hope it was his even if he didn't just out right say it to her. "Pyry." She called out in a mellow voice. "If we did end up getting married then how many children would you want to have?" The woman was fine with a boy but she kind of hoped for a daughter too. She wanted someone to teach all the things she learned in life.

And Your Voice Was All I Heard...
The waitress returned with their food, setting the still warm plates in front of their respective owners. The spirit poked at his meat, inspecting it a short moment before ripping off a piece with his fork. About to raise it to his mouth, he looked up as Mizuki called his name. Her gentle tone caused his brow to raise in curiosity. Was something the matter? Her question caught him off guard, and his immediate response was to blush. Children? Just thinking about it made his blush darken further. "Th-three..." his stutter was back, and immediately he shoved the forkful of shark into his mouth to try and cover it up. He looked down a moment, breathing deeply in and out quietly. Glancing back up, he chews his shark carefully so as not to choke. He thought three was a good number, though he wouldn't mind two. One, however, could be lonely. "How many would you want?" he manages not to stutter, poking at his lunch carefully.

Mizuki must have caught Pyry off guard as he stuttered. The woman didn't mean to do that to her boyfriend. She kind of played with her food before taking a bite. The food was fresh and good. Just right for the mood of the restaurant. She always loved the taste of salmon. She watched as he started to eat. "I was thinking two. I always wanted a daughter, but since we know their is a son in my future I thought two was fine, but I'm also fine with three. We can just name one Pyry Jr if our stars stayed crossed." The woman answered. "Our kids would be have to be active and musical to keep up with us."

And Your Voice Was All I Heard...
Slowly eating his way through his plate, he starts to hollow out one side of the plate before even considering the rest of it. His blush had begun to fade now that he was considering the topic from a logical point of view. He nods to her statement of a daughter, wondering briefly if he'd ever be like the cliche overprotective dads in old movies. It was an interesting thought, though he eventually turned to think about extended family. He had none in this dimension, and so his children would simply have to settle for their adoptive uncles. "I would like at least two, but no more than four." more than that could be difficult, and three was right in the middle. He wasn't so sure about naming on Pyry Junior, he wasn't a fan of 'junior' children, but he didn't speak up about it. "I am not that hard to catch up to. But they will have to work hard to not to fall too far behind you." he smiled faintly, another forkful of shark making it's way to his mouth. He was pleased with the taste, fresh and delicious.

Mizuki smiled. It seemed that he agree mostly with her. It was nice that if they did end up together that they had some short of plan to all of this. She giggled. "Then you can imagine how often there would be sea food for dinner." She joked. All Pyry had to do was open her freezer to know how much fish Mizuki had. He probably could steal some and the woman wouldn't even notice. "They would also have to study hard and get good grades along with doing their chores since both of us work." The mermaid wasn't about to give up her position as a teacher even for her children. Having Mizuki at home all the time would just get her depressed. Besides with her classes she could bring her children and set them in the corner at it would be fine. If they ended up having tails they could just jump into the pool with their father. "It's really nice that Reeds is really family friendly."

And Your Voice Was All I Heard...
Smiling at the thought of fish for dinner fairly often, he pokes about his dish. The subject they had wandered to was making him curious, as if actually considering it. He had never thought about children before, or even marriage, so it was a new train of thought. The spirit nods in agreement to her statements about studying and chores, as it was a necessity to life; lazy people tended not to go anywhere in life, and he would want the best for his children. "It is indeed nice." he agrees, as there were certainly plenty of families on campus now that he thought about it. Pyry supposed it was only natural when this was one of the few places they could all truly be themselves.
