Another update from Gig.

Hyoumaru and the others will be able to give the kids higher survival rate against the Kiri Hunters. Since if the kids do get taken into Kiri custody, they will most likely be tortured for information on Iwa. That's why Shin realizes he can never return to Kiri, and regrets it not at all.

I think after Shizuka figures it out that Harumi was the Henka behind the mask, Shin will realize that was why they got luckier against the Kiri Hunters after encountering the Iwa Hunters a few more times. Basically, the trio will know they still have people whom are caring for them in Iwa. ^_^ As long as they remain fiercely loyal to the true cause - loyalty to the rightful Tsuchikage and if they could, to find out what happened to Gig. Of course they will still be very careful, planning together the most inconspicuous routes to travel.

I think Shin's Hyouton will come into a lot of use so they don't kill any of their pursuers. Thereby Iwa and Kiri has no reason to add a death list against their name.

And yep, Shizuka, after that we're going to Suna using different identities. Shin will dye his hair and avoid using Hyouton, basically they'll be living incognito (will never be joining Suna forces or anything). What Suna doesn't know can't hurt them, and if three nations bug Suna, they'll be like what the duce are you guys talking about? xD

Two years ago, before the destruction of Iwagakure no sato

Theme

"Yo! Old man Gyousha-san!" The feline Henka waved as she entered the kitchen of the chef. "Gyousha" as Shizuka nicknamed him was a food importer, merchant and chef who she used to steal from before she entered the academy. She didn't quite care for him back then nor did she actually know that he knew her mother back then. In response to the nick name Gyousha would plant his face into his palm as he would mumble to himself. "No matter how many times I tell her my name, she sticks with Gyousha...the kids are picking up on it." He waved over to shizuka. "Have a seat youngin, so how's life treating you?" Shizuka jumped onto a chair and sighed in relief. "Just finished taking care of Mayuri and helping Keiko around the house! But I'm sooo hungry! Have any food!?" Shizuka said excitedly, not even sounding like she was tired from all the work she had to do. Gyousha smiled and patted Shizuka on her head. "Stay right there youngin, I'll cook something up for you and your mom." As Gyousha turned around to begin the ingredients to cook, Shizuka started a conversation to break the silence. "Gyousha-san...I've been meaning to ask you. For how long have you knew my mom? She never mentioned you to me until well...recently." The chef turned around and gave a smile.

"Hah! I've known your mother since when she was your age! You two look so much a like, if you two were sisters I would have thought you were twins!" Turning back to cook the food, he would continue talking. "All though personality wise, you two were completely opposites. While you're the hyper and loud type, she was awfully shy and quiet. Which yet again reminds me of the two sisters in her team. Shizuka arched her eyebrow. "Sisters? Who were her teammates, meow?" She had to know! Were they like the incarnation of team burrito? Gyousha knew this would surprise her. "They were team Henka. The sisters were from the canine branch. As canines and felines, I'm surprised they got a long so well." Shizuka doubted old man Gyousha for a second. "Wait...didn't the canine branch break off? How the hell did they get put into teams?"

Gyousha shrugged. "Yep, the twins were wolves. If I remember correctly they were sent here with the canine ambassador. It was to create peace within the two branches. With your mother being the daughter of one of the elders of the feline branch, she was placed into the team with them."

"What were they like then?" This may have something to do with how some Henkas were brutally slaughtered when Shizuka was younger. She owes her life to her mother for saving her back then. "This treaty...I would guess it would have something to do with the attack a few years ago?"

"Well, Devola the "Alpha" Sister was honestly quite a b***h to put it plainly. Papola and your mother were my favorites, Papola was rather very nice and apologetic about her sisters attitude. The sensei was an all right fellow, not a Henka though, he was there to keep an eye on the three just in case they fought...which happened quite a lot between Devola and your mother."

Shizuka thought about it...even some one as oblivious as her can guess what happened with the treaty. "I'm...taking a guess that it didn't work out right? What happened to Devola and Popola? How could Iwagakure let them out when they were basically in their system?"

Gyuousha shook his head in shame. "The treaty was just a fluke. The feline branch had something the canine and rodent branches wanted. Devola and Popola were basically used to get on the Feline Henkas good side. Once the twins became jounins they were on Iwagakures good side, done many high ranked missions for them. They may have fooled the elders but your mom knew they were up to no good. Once the ambassador left back to his village the twins made their move it seems. They went for it, the felines fought back. Your mother made sure to give them one hell of a beating before they ran with their tails between their legs."

"Yeah, sounds like my mom all right, meow~" Shizuka said cheerfully as she knew how crazy her mother can get. "Wait a minute old man. If they ran off, they must have knew what village they came from right? Why did Iwagakure do something about it?"

Gyousha chuckled at the question. "Good question...Seeing as their ambassador left around the time of their scheme, the canine elders considered them Missin-nin and not part of their branch ever since. Bunch of bull if you ask me!"

"Now, another sto-" Gyousha was cut off by Shizuka when she yawned of boredom and being tired, the food didn't help the fact that she was hungry as well! Gyousha sighed at how much her manners was to a cat, quite rude and inconsiderate. Very well then! He would pack up the food for shizuka and her mom. He would look around to see if any one was watching and place a scroll into the bag. "Shizuka-chan...I was going to explain more but I'm guessing your mother would explain it to you. She told me to give you this." Shizuka who was half asleep eyes went wide open as she heard she was getting something extra. She walked into the kitchen to see what it was. "A scroll meow? How can I eat that...?"

Gyousha sighed, she was rather stupid wasn't she? Then again, her mother was like that before she got into the academy...all though she wised faster than Shizuka. "No...it's uh...Important. Very important. She told me to retrieve this back at the Henka Residence. It's to help you out in your training. It usually belongs to the elders, but with your mother basically being the only living relative to the feline Henka branch of Iwagakure. It should be handed down to you just in case something happens again in our village. Now go on, your mother and you are probably starving."

With that, the feline Henka placed the scroll into her item pouch. "Understood old man Gyousha." Placing it into her item pouch, she would run off back to her house. "Thanks for the food!" She would yell out waving bye to her friend.

The attack on Iwagakure

Theme

"Aww man...I wanted to stay and help Keiko." Shizuka walked through out Iwagakure and heading home. Just by looking at her fellow villagers she could tell that something was different about today. "Today seems so off...So gloomy." Looking up at the sky didn't help either, as a matter of fact it proved her even more. She walked a bit faster, moving out of the way of the Jounins who were being used for extra defense of Iwagakure. "What's going on? I better hurry home..." Increasing her pace, she would arrive at home which was empty. "Odd..." Walking into the kitchen wondering if she was starting on dinner for Her, Harumi and Shizuka. "Nothing..."

"Mom!?" Shizuka would call out and yet still no answer from her mother.

"Shizuka-chan? Shizuka!?" That voice...why is Gyousha here? Shizuka went to the front of the house to see who was calling for her it sounded urgent. "Old man Gyousha!?" Gyousha would grab Shizukas hand and run towards the old Henka's district.

"There you are, youngin! We gotta go to the Henka district, I've told your mother what I've seen on my way back to Iwagakure and judging how things are shaping up here at home, I can tell this is going to be bad!"

Shizuka was confused and if she knew one thing, she hated being confused. Why was she being rushed out of her home? Was something wrong with her mom? Did she pass out in the streets? "J-just slow down meow! I'm confused and I have no idea what's going on!"

Gyousha knew it was going to be tough getting this through her head of hers. "I...can't explain now, we need to get to your mother as soon as possible!"

Upon reaching the Henka Clans shrine, Gyousha would instantly sit and rest on the steps leading to the shrine. "You go on ahead, Youngin...my body is getting old and I'm not one of you ninja types..." He made a gesture with his head for her to go on ahead. "I'll stay down here and if any one comes I'll tell them I'm praying at this old shrine of yours."

"Gotcha Gyousha-san." With a nod of understanding, Shizuka would run into the shrine where she would see her mother sitting in the middle of the shrine. The place felt oddly peaceful for how gloomy it was outside...like some kind of sanctuary.

The elder Henka would give her daughter a stern look, with Shizuka standing at the entrence, her eyes would connect to her mothers. But there was a hint of sadness within her mother and Shizuka could sense it, she couldn't talk as if the words she wanted to let out was trapped within her by some unknown force. "Shizuka-chan..."

Hearing her name called, she would walk towards her mother and sit down in a kneeling position. "...Yes, mom?" Shizuka would answer her wondering if she was in trouble. "Is...Is something wrong?"

"Shizuka-chan...I...I can't allow you in this village. Our old friend who escorted you here heard rumours of Three members of the Henka clan returning to our village." Smiling with joy, she pretty much ignored the part about not being allowed in the village. As a matter of fact, the only thing she heard was that some members of the Henka clan were returning. Jumping to her feet she would cheer for joy about such news. "This is great! This is wonderful! I can't wait to meet them!"

Snarling in anger her mother would yell at her daughter, at times she regrets her daughter not getting out of her ignorant stage. Her mother would stand up from her spot and grab her daughters neck and slam her against the wall to make the room shake from such strength. Shizuka opening her eyes would start to develop tears in her eyes, taking a good look at her mother once more she would start to enter the first form of Henka bloodline. Her claws would dig into Shizukas neck, not far enough to cause much damage but to cause some puncture in the skin to cause a slight enough of blood to get Shizuka to listen for once. "Shizuka! Listen! With that scroll you have, you're wanted by any Henka clan member not part of our branch! Do you hear me!? To them it's either you or me who has the scroll and they already know how I hid the scroll for so long!"

Letting go of her daughters neck, Shizuka would slide down the wall coughing and holding her neck. A stream of tears would fall down from her eyes. "T-They want to kill us? I'm not going to run! I'll get everyone to help us! Gig-sensei, Keiku, Shin-kun and Raisuke-kun! Maybe even Katagi-kun can help with his genjutsu!" She stood up and backed away from her mother. "I'm not going to run...and that's final." Looking at her mother she smiled with her eyes closed, as cute as a cat! "Plus! Onee-san taught me how to do this!" She would Focus her chakra, she would begin her transformation into the Kihongeri form, her first form. Shizuka's Tail and ears formed out from her body. "We can do this mom! Just believe in my friends and me!"

Her mother ignored her achievement and walked pass her and continued to go on to tell her about her plan. "Two red haired twins were seen along with a muscular man. They're going to come here to look for the feline branches part of the relic."

Shizuka was pissed off now, her tail wagged back and forth almost whipping as she glared at her mother. "Just what is this stupid scroll for!? Why do I have to carry it and risk my life!? Gyousha-san gave it to me, why can't we just hide it somewhere else? What if I do run away and I manage to lose it!?"

Being rudely interrupted, her mother would look at her to answer her questions. "The scroll will not only teach you how to achieve your bloodline transformations for when the time comes, but it also contains information on how our bloodline was made and how to recreate the forbidden jutsu to create one of us just like how Arufa did so to his daughter accidentally."

"I get it now...so...what if they do get it? I mean what if we use it here? There's hardly any feline Henkas! Besides You, Harumi and me...there may be more but that's all I've seen!"

"If we were to do that then we would be just as bad as the other branches. Stealing the lives of innocence to put our curse upon them? Sacrificing animals for power? We're a disgrace put on this planet due to the accident of one man trying to protect his village. To have those suffer out of this false bloodline is something I wish not to see. What ever the rogue branches are planning, I know for a fact that they want to fuse our bloodline to create new Henkas for war and power. That and probably sell our relics to the Mizukage who's trying to collect bloodlines for his own reasons. Just imagine if your friend Shinratsu was to have such a bloodline added onto his...I can't think of what problems would be caused from adding a curse to him or others with existing bloodlines."

Sighing, her mother would smile at her daughter. "Enough of that. I need you to get packed up to go to Konohagakure! <3" It was a total change of an attitude as her mother smiled and through a scroll across the floor. making the handseal to summon up some items for Shizuka's travels. "A map just in case you get lost, Kunais, water flasks and food." Her mothers face went back to that frowning look. "I...don't want you to go. I'm sure you can smell the fire from here. As we speak Iwagakure is under attack...It's bad enough one of my daughters is always away...but for one to live in another country pains me so..."

Escaping from Iwagakure

"M-mom! I need to see if Keiko and her baby are all right! shinratsu and Raisuke! They can't die while I'm in this stupid shrine!" Running outside the door, she would instantly bump into the chest of something quite furry, fluffy and bouncy. "Mmff!" She couldn't exactly breath and it took her a while to find out what was going on. For one thing, there wasn't such an object on the stair way the last time she went down them. She would move her head up from the two pillows she rested her head upon to see a quite angered wolf humanoid. "Excuse me but I believe your meat buns are in the way~" She said as she blushed and kept her head upon them for a while longer.

The one Shizuka unlucky decided to bounce into was the leader of the group Devola who did not take a liking to this. And the other wolf being Papola who was embarrassingly blushing to see such a scene happen to her sister and Higuma a Henka of the bear branch who was in his second form towered over the three currently there. Shizuka backed off a bit and out of the Devola's pillows to hear groaning of pain come from behind the group. In the claws of the bear would be Gyousha soaked in blood and being held just by his head.

Devola would smile a wicked smile as she looked down at Shizuka. "If I knew that's what it took to let your cat reflexes down I would have come here with something less revealing. Now...please turn around, we have some family business we need to take care of."

Shizuka would swiftly grab for a kunai with her item pouch and go in for a slash at Devola. Which was a useless attempt as Devola grabbed her arm with ease even before Shizuka can slash at her. "Her speed...It's incredible..." Maybe her mom was right, that feeling of remorse reminds you of something you should have done when told kicked Shizuka right into her head. Staring into the eyes of the wolf was like staring at death.

With one kick from Devola, Shizuka would be punted right back into the shrine close to her mother waiting for her fate. "Toraneko-chan~ Long time no see!" Devola would give a wicked sly smile as she walked up to Shizuka who was trying to stand up, placing her paw like foot upon the back of the young Henka, she would push the sharp claws into the skin. "We didn't want it to come to this, but...your branch always ignored our ideals. Sure we all have some rogue members of our branches who think like you do and honestly, it's a shame...We're doing this for the good of our clan." Papola would put in a word for her self. "We mean no harm for the clan. We truly want the best."

Toraneko would listen to the outrageous claims and ideals that the canine Henka was tell her, in response to that she would deliver a round house kick to the snout of Devola sending her flying back away from her and Shizuka. Shizuka would quickly stand up and grab the supply package her mother made for her. Shizuka would stand right behind her mother scared at the situation. Devola would catch stand up and hold onto her nose, she honestly wasn't expecting that from a sick mother. "My my my...you sure have gotten stronger. Are you sure you're still sick? I was hoping you would die from it, or at least be as strong as a withered old hag."

"It's not going to take a disease to kill me. I can thank my daughters for that. Not just them giving me medicine that I needed, but for being here and at my side. I can't die with them still around, nor will I allow them to die before me. It's my place here to take care of them...and well..." Toraneko decided to keep quiet, her emotions may give away her plans if she decided to continue. "I know what you came for and if it means you would leave me and my family alone, then so be it. Not like we'll get any help from being out here." The mother stated. With them being outside village, the main support would be protecting the village rather then some near wiped out clan and their shrine. Harumi would probably be on the main lines protecting the village and she had no idea her mother would be here. '"I won't go down without a fight. Please promise me you'll leave my daughter alone. As an exmember of your team, at least grant me that."

Devola shook her head slowly in disagreement. "I can't promise much, but if this big fella gets bored, he'll need something else to beat up. Just like our old friend here. Honestly, I doubt this guy is even alive from how bad of a beating he got from Higuma over here."

Hearing that Shizuka backed away, she honestly doubted her mother can take three of them on. Even if she was healthier than before, even Harumi would have troubles with these three. "M-mom...w-why don't."

"Shizuka!" Toraneko snapped at her daughter, if she would spoil the info then she would honestly kill Shizuka herself.

"Honestly, I don't know who's stupider. Higuma or Shizuka..." Devola said with a smile.

Forming handseals Toraneko would release a seal upon the shrine. The building would begin to shake and crumble as the room the whole shrine would begin to descend down into the mountain and into the Meikyuu cave system. An entrance behind the two would open up leading to such caves. "Shizuka, get out of here! THIS TIME I MEAN IT!"

Shizuka took no second thought and made a run for it. Upon reaching the opening, she would look back at her mother would tears in her eyes. "I love you mom, please make it out of this alive!"

Toraneko would turn around and nod. "I will...please forgive me for this Shizuka." She didn't want to send her daughter alone to another country, but if it meant keeping her clan safe and not being corrupted by power, then it's a risk she had to take. But for her? With Shizuka out of the country and Harumi...who's fate is unknown, she could finally leave this evil encrusted world. If she was still sick during the attack that was going on today, she will probably die from one of the invaders. So what's the difference?

Grinding her teeth in anger, Devola would look at Papola and Higuma. "You idiots! Get her! I'll take care of Toraneko!" The bear Henka grunted as he aimed Gyousha at Shizuka and threw the ragdoll of a body to the Young Henka. Toraneko would evade the flying body and dash towards Devola with a Kunai. The two would clash blades, Devola would give this chance for the two other Henkas to give chase to Shizuka who was tumbling down the endless stairs leading to the Meikyuu caves.

Devola would knee Toraneko in her gut and pounce down upon her using her knees to pin down her arms. "That...was oddly easy, but I'll make sure you won't feel anything. But before that lets get that relic from your belly, shall we~?" Using handseals she would place a genjutsu upon Toraneko, she would stand up to let her tranced foe stand up also. "Now I just need that relic please?"

Toraneko would use a hand seal to summon the relic within her, easily she would spit it out in front of the Canine Henka. "Ew...so they were right then? Oh well, pass the disgusting hiding spot, I guess we have all the relic pieces now. Now lets see what it says?" Devola would open up the scroll to read the first imprinted word on it. "Sucker...?" The wolfs eyes were twitching, she was angered and pissed off that she had been duped. Looking closely was a emoticon like drawing of a face pulling down it's eye lid and sticking it's tongue out. The door leading to the Meikyuu caves would close shut with a rather heavy wall and multiple exploding tags would reveal themselves upon the wall. "You! Idiot! I should have know, well..the two will probably get your daughter anyway." Looking up from the scroll, Devola would finally notice the trap that Toraneko laid out for her. "Oh you b***h..." Before she could attempt to escape the exploding tags detonated and collapsed the shrine upon them both.

Within Toranekos mind, everything that was once a white void from the genjutsu she was in began to get hazy and fuzzy. Like a television losing it's signal. "Heh...Now that I think about it...taking this time to set up this trap, I only got one of em. I could have made a plan than this...Shizuka, I regret not giving you a parting gift, dinner or party. I'm sorry for leaving you like this...Maybe I didn't want to live knowing my daughter is out there on her own without me helping her. I regret giving her this cursed life and her bloodline." With that the white void turned to darkness. "I guess the Alpha b***h read the scroll..." The Elder Henka would smile within the darkness as her final thought passed. "Good bye Shizuka, I will always love you."

That blast? Shizuka wanted to run back up to see what the hell just happened but it didn't help that there was a wolf and a bear giving chase. "Oh please no...You told me you were going to make it out alive!" She forgot that the Meikyuu cave system was a labyrinth, but taking the right paths would be too obvious, even to the lumbering idiot of the bear. Plus that wolf chick would probably sniff Shizuka out with her dog senses. "That's it...that's stupid enough just to work!" She knew it was no use running away from these two predators. Her speed from her first form seemed to out run the two, she actually had time to think this situation through. She was quite far away from the entrance leading back to Iwagakure and the two didn't seem to be close. "I can't do much from my taijutsu skills, but if I can trick that damned bear with the oldest tricks in the book, then I can probably kill him within this cave system." Her Academy ninjutsus may come into use! Upon looking around the cave section she was in There were plenty of stalagmites to hide her from the two. Making a handseal, she would be interrupted by rumbling within the cave she was in. Higuma was punching his way through the maze not even following the right path to her. Shizuka was shocked to see this Tank of a man come right at her, the fists would make contact with her sending her flying into the rocky wall causing major damage to her. Her vision became blurry as she saw the hulking bear and the slender wolf walk towards her until she finally fell unconscious.

"Shizuka...Shizuka-chan, wake up." She could hear her mother calling out for her, she smiled as finally found out she took care of the two rogue Henkas. "M-mom...?" She said in a soft voice, but her vision proved her wrong as he dream vanished from in front of her revealing the two foes she was facing before. Higuma once again got a hold of Gyousha who was obviously not awake to see what's going on. Looking around Shizuka wold find out she was in a different place than before, tied up with rope. Looking at the two, she would notice that they were in front of a nice...horrific looking cliff leading to god knows where.

Higuma would scowl at Gyousha as he held him above the cliff. "Don't see why we didn't do this the first time. We would either kill them in here so no body would notice or die in that shrine. But of course your sister wanted it to be done her way." The bear would chuck Gyousha down the cliff. and turn around to respond to Popola's stare. "What are you looking at?"

Popola sighed. "I don't see the reason for us to kill these two, They have nothing. More bloodshed will not prove our ways right, it'll only deem us more guilty in the eyes of the rogue Henkas."

Shizuka gasped as she saw Gyousha fall down the cliff silently, she knew her fate was up next. She used her rope escape technique to get out of the tightly wrapped rope. She would then sneak away from the two in an attempt to find a way out. "Where the hell am I meow?" Only if Shin or Raisuke was here to save her, this would be so much easier than it is.

She noticed her form reverted back to her basic human looking form, her speed wouldn't be top notch from her first form and the punch injured her greatly. "Come on...where...am I?" Her ears picked up the sound of them walking towards her position, she took a deep breath and continued on her way. Seeing a bridge ahead of her she knew she was getting somewhere. Noticing a large rock next to the bridge, she would make a handseal for a henge jutsu to transform it into a copy of her tied up. This should give her time for another plan. Running across the stone bridge, she would hide behind another stalagmite. Peeking from behind it she would notice it was Higuma slamming the poor transformed rock shizuka around him. Into the wall next to him, into a stalgamite and across the bridge. In a puff of smoke, it would of course be a rock damaged from the beating it took.

Higuma chuckled. "Think you can fool me with such tricks?" The bear would stomp over across the bridge where shizuka would try another trick. "Bunshin no jutsu." Making the hand seals for the jutsu, a simple non-physical clone would appear by her and out of cover making it seem like she was standing at the edge of the cliff.

Higuma would grin as he found his target, it was simple, he would just charge at the Young Henka and knock her off the ledge thus killing her and so he did like a big dumb dumb he was fell for another acdemy trick. He would look down at the hiding Shizuka in return she would wave at him with a cute smile. "Bye Bye Baka-Baka~" Giving a last kick Shizuka would push the bear down the pit. "Good riddence..." With a sigh of relief, Shizuka would begin walking in a path to get out of this unknown region of the Meikyuu caves.

Once again she could hear rumbling in the distance, it...sounded like Higuma yelling his lungs out. "I'M NOT AN IDIOT!" Repeating himself over and over caused Shizuka to shake as his voice echoed throughout the cave system. He was climbing his way out from the pit, claw by claw rage filled fueled him to go further. She would begin running further away from the bear, he must have not fell too far as he was already charging at her with his arm out to grab the poor little girl and chuck her down the corridor. "I'll tear you to shreds! You damned cat! No one calls me an idiot!" Hitting the wall shizuka would try to crawl herself to safety following the arrows she should be out slowly but surely with Higami throwing a tantrum like a baby didn't make him go any faster.

Seeing that red gloomy light, the smell of smoke from the burning and invaded Iwagakure was...oddly enough refreshing. "Shin...Raisuke?" It was a figure in the way of the light...hopes of freedom was dropped when she saw a tail wag back and forth.

Papola would form the handseals needed for her jutsu. "Doton: Doryuso!" The corridor that Shizuka was trapped in began to shake from the jutsu and the crazed bear running towards her, upon closing her eyes she would hear a blood curdling scream come from the Bear Henka. "You b***h! You backstabber!" Impaled to the spears seemed to be nothing to him and his anger, breaking free of the spears, he would continue on his way to smash the two Henkas to pieces. "You're dead! I'm going to beat you two until you are unrecognizable!" Papola was shocked that he broke free from that...impossible.

"Shizuka! Behind me!" The wolf barked the order to the feline Henka. Following orders, she would crawl behind Papola. "Iwa bunshin no jutsu!" Forming another handseal, the wolf Henka would expell earth from her mouth and form multiple rock clones in the form of her second transformation self, they would charge at the mad bear, grabbing a hold of him, biting and keeping their claws within him. "Doton: Iwayado Kuzushi!" Papola would slam her palm onto the floor collapsing the entrance of the Meikyuu caves upon her team member. Giving a nervous laugh wondering if they both of them will make it alive out of this. She turned to Shizuka. Ï've never seen him this mad..."

Shizuka couldn't take it anymore, her wounds were too great. Passing out once more she gave up hope of living. Papola would sigh and stand up looking at the wreckage she caused. She doubt that was enough to kill him, but it would slow him down most likely. The Iwagakure shinobi can take care of him. Without Papola or Devola, he would not be able to track the sister and Shizuka for good. "Tis a shame that it had to come to this. I'm tired of the drama in my clan. Higuma-sama, please forgive me." Picking up Shizuka she would head for the Shi Plateau to rest for the time being. Using her own supplies to treat Shizuka's wounds and waited for her to wake up.

Üpon waking up, Shizuka would instantly reach for her item pouch to see if the relic was still there. She glared at Papola knowing she was one of the ones who killed both Gyousha and her mother. The slim ninjutsu using wolf was not a beautiful red headed woman who stayed by Shizuka's side. "Good...you're awake." She said simply. "Don't worry, I didn't take the relic from you." Shizuka gasped when she found out she knew she had it. "You knew all along...?" Papola gestered no silently. "No...I just took a slight peek at your stuff. Don't worry though, I'm tired of this drama within our clan. We'll never stop fighting each other as long as these relics exist. I lost my sister, and you lost your mother." Sighing, she looked down the Plateau. "We both probably agree that we've lost something dear to us due to the stupid relics. If you choose to keep it than so be it. Know that you'll be a target if they find out you're still alive." Looking back at Shizuka she would smile. "If there's one thing I can do for my own blood. I would like to keep your life a secret. The Henka's will not know if you're dead or alive till I tell them...even then I won't return to them so it'll take a while for them to find out and before you hold a grudge against me...My sister, Higuma and I were not part of the attack of iwagakure."

"I should kill you on this spot...was it really a good idea to do this? You couldn't just stop them from doing this to my mother?" Getting worked up like that pained Shizuka greatly, clutching her wounds she looked over at Papola who seemed emotionless on the situation. "What should I do now? What do you suggest...? My village is gone and my mom is dead.

Papola stood up from her spot. "If you want, you can go to Konoha like your mother originally planned you to do. Or...you can go back to Iwagakure to help out, but in your condition I would personally not try to fight. But it seems like the invasion stopped and sadly Iwagakure went down with it." She had an urge to have Shizuka be her little sister, kind of look after her for the time being. But with a missing-nin such as herself to bring Shizuka along would cause them both more trouble than it's worth...and Papola was scared of Harumi finding out she took her sister.

"Shizuka-chan...before we part ways. Please, let me give you a word of advice. Don't trust any Henka's on your travels. We're all blood thirsty animals out for our own needs weather they be good or bad." To Shizuka that was quite a lot to take in...but it almost made sense to her. "Good bye, Papola..." Shizuka said with a sad tone as she watched her Henka clans member go on her way. With her mother gone, Iwagakure destroyed all she had left to look for was her friends. The Gig-sensei, Keiku, Mayuri, Shinratsu and Raisuke. Standing up she would make her way to look for the them.

Old peace.. New confrontation.. Missing sensei.. An unraveling past. To Raisuke it almost seemed as if life itself had turned into one big contradiction. And he, himself, was the unhappy medium in this equation. Iwa had somehow become his home. Despite losing everything he knew at a young age he had formed new bonds. To the village itself, to the people. Everything entwined in what seemed to be an attempt to bind him permanently into the stone. Would his memories burn away forever? Or simply bind with the new ones? The times were going to change him. It was time to become a rock for his friends to lean on. A structure that his sensei could say.. he was proud of.

Sensei, I know you are out there somewhere, trying to prevent others from facing the hardships you have faced. Those I have faced. Those Shinratsu has faced.. I know it in my heart that you are a good man. But one can't help to think that your mind might be fragile having seen what you saw. Please don't crack until I see you again. You still have family, we're waiting for you... sensei...

"Shin.. must you complain? You live here.. I don't know how I got suckered into cleaning.. Keiko sensei just stopped training me in the middle of a lesson.." He held a displeased look on his face. In actuality he was the one doing all the complaining. But surely Shinratsu was used to that kind of thing by now. Raisuke tugged on his towel he had wrapped around his head. It was tied up to protect his hair.

Raisuke leaned against a counter and huffed. Just kind of eavesdropping on Shinratsu and Keiko's conversation. And he went off into thought. He knew Giglamesh sensei's reasons for not entering them. As a cell, they didn't quite have what it took yet. Their teamwork left much to be desired. Their individual skill was becoming exceptional, but they needed much work in other areas. He huffed again in disapproval, walking out of the room to leave.

At the stadium when everyone cheered he did nothing but half heartedly clap, letting his raw emotions take over. "Me not ready? You're full of it, sensei.." He muttered, giving a half lidded gaze to the newly elected chuunins. Before closing his eyes and shaking his head. "Maybe next time.. I just need to train enough to outshine him.." He said in a whisper, looking over to Shin for a second. The fans plainly drowning him out.

The Attack on Iwagakure

As Raisuke watched, he saw messengers appear to approach the Kages. And being who he was, he just assumed the worst with the current state of the world. "Its that heartless b*****d again isn't it.." He spoke in a deepened obviously angry voice. His fist clenching and the air around him growing heavy. Almost like he was forcing chakra out of his body loosely. It wasn't until the thought went through his head that Giglamesh was always there and that Szayel had finally come back, that he would force himself to calm down.

Shortly after he remembered that Keiko sensei would teach him how to make medicine. And knowledge of medicine could lead to healing and botanical jutsus later. So carrying a basket for her Raisuke would follow Keiko, not questioning her. She would tell him and Shin is something was wrong, wouldn't she?

Noticing Shin playing with Mayuri and then getting a glare of death, he laughed a little bit along with Keiko. After some time passed just as he was so tired of looking at plants that he could hardly take it anymore it seemed that they had filled the basket. But hearing Shin question the location of Keiko he would look around as puzzled as Shin looked.

"What the..." Raisuke looked as if he shuttered, almost in fear of what he saw. It was like he was hit with some gut wrenching flash back of something. No this couldn't be deja vu. It was really happening. Something was descending on Iwa. Something dark and unnerving.

While Raisuke seemed to be paralyzed within his thoughts it seemed Shin had taken off. To look for Mayuri and Sensei, no doubt. He had to do the same but where to start. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Trying to focus to pick up any chakra patterns he could. He sensed what felt like Giglameshs. Only, it was tiny. It had to be Mayuris. He would take off in that direction, he had to. If anything happened to them, Sensei would never forgive him!

In the ashes of the wake, darkness descends.

Raisuke ran for what seemed like minutes before he felt it in the air. It was the blood lust of battle! "Nooo.." He had only started training it so it wasn't perfected. But he had to try to use Shunshin to get there as fast as he could. When he got there he saw blood splattered on the walls of the canyon. He didn't see Mayuri, and Keiko sensei was on one knee. Several shuriken stuck in her body. And he saw the attacker.

With rage filled eyes, the next thing he knew is he had ninja-to in hand. Clashing with the kunai of the enemy. He was blindly hacking away toward the enemy in a blind rage.

"Raisuke..NOO!! Get...away.." Keiko gasped. A shuriken had hit her in the chest before he got there. It pierced deep. She was slowly loosing lung capacity. She would slowly suffocate.

Raisuke looked back at her and shivered. He could hear it. She was weak and losing her strength. But with the enemy present he didn't know what he could do. Strategizing was not exactly his forte. Before his attention refocused he had a kunai lodged into his left shoulder. He gritted his teeth, and just acting on reaction he slashed he right arm horizontally. Cutting the other ninja in half, literally. Clearly he was only a gennin like Raisuke, but how did a gennin get the upper hand on Keiko sensei?

Raisuke quickly ran over to Keiko and dropped to a knee. He ripped the kunai out of his shoulder and discarded it. "What do I do, what do I do.." He was in a panic. He had no medicine and was definitely no medic ninja.

"I said... run.." She coughed up blood right on his chest as she grabbed his shirt weekly. "Theres more. Its a cell... idiot.." Then with that she was gone. Her whole body fell weak and her arm released his shirt, completely limp.

He didn't sense any others. But after he looked around he saw two others that Keiko had taken out. They were covered in her blood and had deep wounds. Raisuke shuttered.. "Water needles.. she used her blood because she had no water here." He punched the ground, tears falling from his eyes. When he heard what sounded like a cry. "Mayuri!" He shouted as he ran to where the sound came from. He picked her up and she burst like a bubble.

"Mizu Bushin with Henge, who could.." He leaped back just before several kunai hit that location and he looked up at a ninja wearing a Kiri headband standing half way up the canyon wall. 'Of course, a cell leader.. im so stupid..'

The Kiri chuunin released the grip of his wall walking technique to lightly glide down the wall. Before flipping to land on his feet. "A shinobi using OUR jutsu.. simply pathetic."

"Don't you talk about Keiko sensei, you b*****d!" Rai roared ferociously at the man.

The man smirked. Clearly taunting the boy. "Oh, is that her name? I would have thought it was Mayuri, the way she cried it out so." He started laughing, clearly everything being a joke to him. Despite sacrificing his students.

Raisuke would seem to go into a fit of rage. "I said shut the hell up!!!" He would charge the man blindly, not seeming to have any plan. But as the man threw a kunai that seemed to hit him in the center of the chest, his body turned to rock. Substitution successful. The next thing the man knew two Raisukes fell from the sky above him like they had been hanging from the cannon walls. When they got close they burst. The water falling down to obstruct the mans vision. Meanwhile Raisuke charged. Trying to thrust both ninja-to into the mans stomach. But he countered just in time. The swords sticking into the canyon wall on each side of the mans torso. The man kicked Rai in the chest sending him flying back a few feet. Raisuke stood to one knee looking scared for a moment. "It's over!"

As the man looked puzzled Rai formed a hand sign. "Jibaku Fuda: Kassei" The man's eye grew wide. His Henge he had cast on the swords disappeared just before he saw at least a half a dozen explosion tags attatched to the back side of each blade. The explosion would cause a huge echo in the canyon that could probably be heard all the way back in the village. Raisuke was caught in the edge of the blast radius. Sending him bouncing across the ground and back about 50 feet. Knocking him out on the final impact.

This travesty was over. Or so it seemed. But whatever became of Mayuri? Raisuke was unconscious and burned from the blast. For all that could be told, he might die out here along with his sensei.

I'd say we're about equal! I'm rusty too from the lack of RPing for months, I thought I was just going to type out a good two or three paragraphs.

Well Proto always did have the upper hand on me a little. As long as you don't both blow me away. Haha.

Oh, don't kid. x3 Both of you are great.

Shin's about out of chakra and ready to collapse. I'll have him find what happened to Mayuri first before knocking him out.

I say, why don't Shizuka and her sister locate us (when the situation in Iwa subsides Shizu could remember they were heading out of the village before the attack happened)? And the ANBU team Harumi's part of can carry the boys back.

Dear goodness, don't put in the thought of our boys getting molested... crying

Though it might make for a funny transition piece. xD;

Well I do believe that Rai kind of has been infront of Shizuka before, via genjutsu. Lesson be learned, don't try to flirt with a Henka baby sister.

Theme: Semblance

"Nyeh...did he just move?"

"You're imagining things." Spoke another. "He couldn't possibly have, draining his chakra till he collapsed..."

"Idiot boy, forgot to cancel his Jutsu, did he... He's lucky we found him in time."

Shinratsu's eyes flew open, only to be greeted by two great big mounds. So he reacted as per the standard reaction of a patient who had just been till recently out cold: he screamed, sat up too quickly, and his head smacked right into those mounds... Slightly dazed then, he paused in alarm wondering why his head didn't hurt with impact, wondering what the squish sound was. Wait a minute... It was...soft? So it wasn't a weapon...? When he realized what those mounts were - oh dear Leviathan! - all of his hair stood on end, ponytail and all.

"He's awake now." Stated Shishimaru calmly, before moving her chest away.

An impossible blush colored Shinratsu's face, as clutching his head with his hands, he shook it violently from side to side, hoping this was merely some terrible nightmare. Sure, he knew how Shishimaru healed as the Esei-nin had no arms, but stiiiiill... Oddly enough, he was spared teasing by Harumi Henka. When the moment of carefree calm passed, Shinratsu grew all the more alarmed as the previous events of the night returned crashing down to his memory. His cheeks returning to their usual pallor, perhaps even more so, as he spoke with urgency: "Keiko-sensei! What about Mayuri-..."

While usually a cheerful joke would be well-placed at this moment by the older Henka sister, instead, Harumi's lips drew to a saddened, thinning line. Shishimaru remained stonily silent as ever. Their leader, Hyoumaru, let out a small sigh, before lowering the person he was carrying.

"Raisuke!" Cried out Shin, but the other boy did not stir.

"I'll attend to him." Murmured Shishimaru. "His wounds are physical...not nearly as terrible a condition as you were..."

"But, then..." Shin looked to each of the three older shinobi. "Keiko-sensei, Mai...what..."

"The other squad took them...back to Iwa, Shin-kun."

Harumi's oddly quiet tone confirmed his worst fears, if how she phrased her words didn't already sink his heart. "Back to Iwa", the Henka had said...not back home. Unbidden, Shin felt hot tears sting his eyes. With his chakra at such critically low levels now, the usual uncomfortable feeling of the salty drops freezing solid as they fell from his eyes did not occur. Bliss, or torment, he didn't know, certainly not as the burning tears he had only shed before for his dying mother threatened to pour free from his eyes.

The elder Henka walked closer, and placed a light palm on his hair.

"Shh... Just let it out."

So thus somewhere in the rocky valleys, did the aggrieved cry resound. It wasn't the time for ill-placed teasing, because right now, there was only a small boy, mourning once again all that was lost, bitterly weeping. What was the use even, being born with this...this, what they call "power" when he couldn't even protect the precious people close to him? Harumi's gentle hold provided no solace with the warmth that for a rare time in so many times that he would be able to feel. His mind could only remember those whom were lost tonight, dreading not even their Sensei's anger, only Gilgamesh's unspeakable sorrow, the disappointment...

The guilt would've been less so if only their Sensei would severely hurt, or perhaps better still, kill him.

Proto, should I have shizuka meet shinratsu or find Raisuke? I may have Papola carry her to either place.
