Blue was really pretty, but so was red! Sanity check or not, if you added enough white to the colour red you got pink, and pink was undeniably a fantastic colour. It was the colour of princess gowns and fields of flowers, and even the colour of Ainsley's bathing suit. It was thought to be rather effeminate for men to wear but Ainsley could have found it absolutely wonderful to learn that centuries ago: pink was a man's colour because red was the colour of war and pink was just a lighter dye of red. Ainsley would learn some day that boys just wouldn't understand that though, even if she could tell them why it was most certainly okay for them to wear. However, for now she was just happy to think red was a nice colour on Sam.
