Max looked around as Ash climbed off his back. Making sure the area infront of the house was safe. He looked at her and smiled as she said thanks, but noticed her blushing. He turned his head away as his cheeks flushed a bit red. Revealing a bit of his softer side. He turned and looked at the door. "Don't worry about it. But now we need to scope out this house." He looked back at her and handed her his pistol. "You do know how to use this right?" He said as he grabbed his MP5K and aimed it at the door.

Ashley let out an bashful smile as she took the gun. "... No... I've only used a gun twice, and the only times I've seen them used is on TV..." She laughed in an embarrassed way, feeling so... unprepared. Ash never really even thought about using a gun.

Max smirked a bit and kicked open the door, quickly lighting a flare and tossing it into the living room. He quickly opened fire as a zombie jumped over the couch and charged at Ashley, his gun shooting four bullets right to the zombie's skull. He signaled for Ash to move in behind him as he walked into the room. "Keep me covered and stay on your toes."

after johnathan had a few hours of rest he heard four shots fired about 2 blocks away from his current location. he leaped to his feet and looked out of the tree house window, he noticed three infected dogs surounding the tree house. (ive got to get to whoever fired that gun.)he thought to himself, johnathan quickly gathered his gear and aproached the opposite window. he examined the surroundings from outside the window for a good minute or so, ( looks like im jumpin..) johnathan grabbed the ledge and hung his legs out and released his grip, but he landed to loudly and the dogs saw him, he raised his m4 on instinct and took aim at one of the dogs heads, releasing two rounds the dog dropped dead. johnathan spun around and shot three rounds at a second dog.not realizing it johnathans m4 got jammed, "s**t!!" johnathan dropped his M4 and reached for his sidearm, the third dog leaped towards him and he rolled to the side, spun around and fired 4 shots, 1 at the front leg 2 in the chest and 1 more in the head. john stood up and picked up his m4, while putting his side arm in its holster. he then proseeded towards the previous gunshots.

Max had heard the gunshots and quickly ran out the front door. "Hurry Ashley, there are still people alive!" He grabbed his pistol and picked her up once more and took off down the street. After a good couple of minutes of sprinting he reached the house and noticed a figure in the yard. "Hello? Are you alive?" He grabbed his pistol after letting Ashley off of his back and took aim at the figure, still unsure of whether it was still alive or not. "Ashley stay behind me ok?" He looked back at her quickly and walked slowly forward.

johnathan paused for a moment" so there are people still left?" he said clearly, slowly turning around he saw a young girl and a military looking man." im johnathan.. call me john, im one of the marines that were sent in to keep the infected at bay. and you are?" he asked while reloading his weapons.

Max lowered his weapon and looked back at Ashley for a moment, then back to John. "My name is Max. I worked as a guard at the facility where the outbreak started." Max had looked away from both of them, as if staring at something in the distance. "We can't stay here....they are coming." Max faced them both as a loud, spine-chilling roar was heard in the distance.

John paused for a moment. "damn dont tell me its one of those big ones."he said slowly. johnathan bent over and picked up a macheette stuck in a tree stump, and slid it onto his belt next to his kombat knife." your rigt we better get going, " he said while running up to the streets and next to a sewerlid."give me a hand!"he yelled across the street.

Max looked over at John and nodded. He then grabbed Ashley's hand and walked over to the sewer lid. "Rumors say that there are bugs down there..."
Max hesistantly grabbed the other end of the lid and easily pulled it to the side. "I'm a hell of a lot stronger than I look to be." Suddenly, Max was grabbed, and thrown into a car. Max barely able to open his eyes, made out a giant and clawed figure. Max had lost consciousness by the car.

Johnathan quickly grabbed his M4 and fired at the car tires. the car came to stop but when johnathan turned to ashley a giant flying creature grabbed her and pulled her into the sky.'s**t!!' he yelled and started running towards the car and a larg figure came out.

"Bugs? Im more worried about the living dead down there," Ashley said as she was being pulled towards a sewer. Then, Max was slammed with shocking force into a car. "Ma-" but she couldn't even finish his name as something snatched her off of the ground. On instinct, Ash pressed the muzzle of Maxs pistol into the flesh of the creature, and pulled the trigger. She was released, and landed 12 feet below onto the unforgiving concrete street. She was more stunned than hurt, but her left wrist throbbed. She got up off of the ground, vision swimming, but focused enough to see a huge creature.

As johnathan was staring at the large creature he peered behind him so that he could get a glance at Ash."Ash if you can move you have to get max out of that car...ill hold this thing at bay for as long as i can" johnathan said; slowly walking toward the beast with his m4 aiming forward.(i heard from the man on the radio that theese things never die)

Max had awoken and without them noticing and pulled out a bit of a surprise weapon. He smirked as blood dripped down his mouth, a loud thump coming from the grenade launcher he took from the back of the giftshop, knowing it was a military outpost. He laughed as the giant creature's face was blown into pieces. He coughed and smiled. "The bastards can die with enough force." Blood was still dripping from his mouth as he quickly grasped his ribs. "******** thing hit me hard. B-but don't expect me to die so easily."

Ash was staring, wide-eyed, at the gruesome monster which looked like something straight out of a horror movie. She was still staring at it when, quite suddenly, it's head exploded. She ducked instinctively, then caught a glimpse of Max. Bleeding, but holding a grenade launcher. "Max!" she yelled, running over to him. "Oh my G- did you puncture a lung or something?" she said exasperatedly, running her hands through her blonde hair.

relieved johnathan lowered hisweapon and walked toward ash and max."thank god u were able to move or id probably be dead by now"john slid his backpack to the ground and pulled out a medickit."Ash keep this with you,its got morphine painkillers and bandages...they are verry simple to use. in the meantime we need to get to a safe area, any i deas?"john looked at the both of them and slid a desert eagle towards max.
