Christian smiled his rare smile. It was soft, and subtle, but a smile none the less. He bumped up against her playfully before trodding off to the enbankment. She'd learned something, which is what would carry her through to her dying day, or so he hoped. "I know how you feel." He stopped and turned to face her. "And yet I don't. Feel blessed to have known home, but if it isn't yours, then you should find the one that is yours and yours alone."
When she stammered, Christian's smile turned into a horrorific frown. Was she going to start crying again? He knew mares were emotional, but that would just be too much! "You...want me to stay?" His face mirror his surprise. Of course he didn't catch on to the fact that she had obviously not meant it to come out that way. "Forever? You barely know me. What if I'm a murderer? You could very well be inviting death upon your herd."

Claudine couldn't help but let a large smile cross her muzzle as she looked at him. "You don't have to stay forever...... Unless you want to." She said, choking out a small laugh. "I'm umm... I'm not used to talking with others." Claudine admitted with slightly gritted teeth. She was once again slightly taken aback by his comment about him being a murderer. He didn't really expect her to believe he could do something like that right? Especially after how he was acting. "I highly doubt you are a murderer." Claudine said, looking at him with wonderment. "Well, it wouldn't be my first biggest mistake. And I got into trouble with a skinwalker." She said with a struggle. "They raised me, so I think if you were a murderer they would not only out number you but over power you." Maybe he wasn't giving off the signals of evil but she really didn't know for sure what his past was. But then again, being like he is now, did it really matter? Claudine's past was showing nothing of what she was becoming.

"You never know. I could come out of nowhere and kill off the lot of you." The way he said it was dead serious, without a flicker of emotion, until he grinned. "Though, with those odds, I'm better off not pissing them off."
He leaned forward, his muzzle a breaths inch away from her and nipped her ear playfully before walking past her. "Whatever you plan to do, do it soon. It's getting dark."
