She smiled and blushed at the compliment. She kept smiling as she saw a twinge of pain in Prelude eyes, even though she wondered why she didn't want the mood to be ruined. All she wanted was that smile to stay on his face. "Thank you. But we aren't here for the trees." She left the petals in her hair, then shifted to the side and bit a bundle of vines. Stepping back she opened the way to a hidden spring.
She gestured him to go in with a wing. There was a strip of land before the spring. She stood by Prelude. "I hope you like here as much as I do." She looked over at him with a shy smile. She's never shared something special like this with another. "And... You can come here alone if you want to." She looked down into the water that was nicely littered with flowers and petals from the surrounding trees. She tilted her head slightly at him. "Would you care to join me for a swim?"

A swim? He nodded, though made sure to warn her. "If we swim we will need to stay on the ground for a bit for our feathers to dry." He mused, smiling at the vixen.
For all he knew she hadn't seen his pain, and that was good. He didn't want her to. He didn't want to burden her with it. He didn't miss Daciana... he just missed the feeling of being loved by someone, and in return giving that person his all. Sometimes he wondered if he hadn't been good enough, but when Cloud came out he would shove those thoughts aside. He needed to, to protect her from his own suffering. He was a happy, sweet fox, but sometimes even he fell into a spiral of sorrow.
"And perhaps I will ask you to accompany me next time I go to bathe."

She blushed even more, her white cheeks turning pink. "You don't have to that." She giggled a bit. The shyness was starting to get to her so she carefully slid into the water and dunked her head under, blowing bubbles as her breathe escaped. She pooped back up and her hair was in her face.
She looked around for Prelude, and look in the direction she that he was in. "So what do you think?" She smiled and tries to get her wet hair from her face, but it insisted on sticking so she left it.

He smirked, dipping into the water and using his wings to push him under, swimming to the top only when his lungs needed it. With a small smile he approached her, pushing back the hair in her eyes to let him see her pretty little yellow eyes, and smiled.
"I think you look cute like that." He honestly stated, moving to once more duck underwater. It was apparent that he was rather relaxed, Cloud did that to him, even if sometimes he did twitch and fear for the worse. Why? Why was he fearful? Was he scared he'd lose her?
Probably.

Cloud blushed even more. "W-well, Thank you..." She really wanted to know about what he thought about the spring. But the compliment was even better. She dove under the water too and swam next to Prelude. She was pretty good swimmer and kept her eyes open as she swam. There wasn't any wild life in the spring, so it was nice and clean.
She playfully tugged Preludes tail then swam away. She was hoping he would catch on to her game of tag. She pooped her head up for a breath and a giggle. Watching out for Prelude.

Prelude laughed as she stuttered, watching her swim underwater and flipping backwards, wings propelling him underwater before she could grab his tail again. He located her, curling his tail around her waist and pulling her closer, letting his nose touch hers and smirked at her sweetly before releasing her, twirling his tail to cause bubbles.
When he swam up for air he laughed, ducking underwater to find her again. The younger vixen was a slippery little thing~ When he found her he merely swam around her, paw touching her shoulder softly, grinning.

As she was being pulled Cloud's mind went numb. Then there noses touched and it sent chills down her back. She felt he self sinking into the water, but he mind was else where. When her butt touched the bottom, she snapped her head around and shot up again... a bit out of breath.
She looked around for Prelude. "Tha- nnn... Do-.... NNNN..." She was bright red and turned around. Embarrassed and dumbfounded. She wanted to tell him that wasn't nice! Or not to do that. But... It was nice... And she did want him to do that.

He watched her swim up, swimming back to the top and gasping for breath, brushing hair out of his eyes and smirking. Wait, was she red? Redder, that is. Was she sick? He tilted his head, pulling himself out of the water and spreading his wings to let them air out, grinning at her.
"Are you alright? You're red." He watched her, dark hair dripping wet as he shook off. He let her stay in the water, head on his paws, grinning. Well, that was fun~ He couldn't remember the last time he had that kind of fun before.

"I'm fine?" What did that sound like she wasn't to certain about her condition. "Maybe I'm sick... I don't know. I don't feel sick." She pulled herself of of the water too and carefully shook off, not wanting to get Prelude wet... well... wetter.
Cloud took a deep breathe and took a spot near Prelude. "Did you enjoy yourself?" She smiled ,but it was different then her other smiles. It was unsure and shy. Shy? That wasn't like Cloud at all. Maybe she was sick after all...

He nodded, smiling at her. "Yes, I did, did you?" Of course he noticed how strange she sounded, concern in his face as he stepped closer and pressed his paw against her forehead. No, she didn't have a fever. Maybe she was just tired? Perhaps it was time to escort her home?
"Perhaps you are tired, should I take you home?" He asked, looking about for something...anything... and then found a large leaf, grabbing it and nudging it to her. "There, it'll help dry yourself off. We need your wings dry to take you home, unless I carry you."

She was trying hard not to blush. At first it died down a bit, then showed up again from the contact. "My face feels like it's burning... really bad." She knew she was blushing, but she never blushed this much, or this long.
Cloud was a bit tired. But there was somewhere else she wanted to take him. "Yes, let's go home." She looked at the leaf, unsure of what to do with it. She ignored it and beat her wings hard and fast. "I couldn't ask you to carry me." She hesitantly leaned in and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you though."

Prelude laughed, shrugging. "Alright, I won't carry y-" He stopped, eyes widening at the kiss on his cheek before a light red touched his cheeks, wings folding slightly. Maybe she thanked all friends like that? N-No.. she hadn't before! He felt his heart flutter for a second, shaking his head and then smiling.
"You're welcome." He smiled warmly at her, stretching his wings to see if they were dry. They were. "Ready?" He asked, slowly recovering from the little episode his heart had gone under during her kiss on his cheek.

She smiled to, one of her 'normal' smiles. It was adorable they way he blushed. Is that what he thought of her as well? She nodded. "I'm ready." She spread her wings. The were a bit heavier then normal, but she would be fine.
A little after they took off Cloud looked over at Prelude. "If you don't mind.. One night I'd like to take you to my favorite spot." She lightly blushed. "I think you would like it more then this spot." She did a barrel roll to avoid a butterfly that fluttered near by, admiring it as it left.

Lifting off into the sky, the male swiftly stayed beside Cloud even though he could go further, blinking at her question. "Really?" He asked, smirking slightly. "I would like that very much." He said, nodding to her and grinning. Her favorite spot was better than that one? Impossible. Or was it?
As he followed her he glanced at the sky, remembering something about her liking stars. Perhaps he could give her his present. "Hey, can we stop by my den?"

Cloud playfully bumped into Prelude. "Yes really!" She giggles a bit. She wondered if he would like the place she liked better more then the spring. When he mentioned that he would go any way she smiled. "Good."
"Hmm?" She blushed slightly. "Yeah, It's not like its far away." She smiled. Though in the back of her mind she wondered what it could be that he wanted there. Besides resting. She landed with a small thud, picking up a bit of dust. She sat down and smiled. "I'll wait here."
