The other boy seemed to be looking for something, seeing as he had vaguely remembered that his brother had made him a sandwich at some point in their stay at the Academy. Looking up, he grabbed the mayo from the fridge before trying to find some bread, though he ended up grabbing a little container of English muffins that someone had left on the counter earlier that day. Grinning from ear to ear, Evan sat back down, ripping an English muffin open before smearing a good handful of mayo on the muffin.
"I'ssa sammich." He said before the other even had a chance to ask, figuring that he might. Taking a few baggies of the meat, he placed one to two slices of each meat on the small sandwich and then a slice or two of cheese.

"Sa--mmich." Avery repeated. He watched at Evan made himself one. It looked... weird. What was that white stuff? He opted to just open his baggie of cheese and eat a few slices, and steal some meat slices from Evan's baggies.
"Sa-mmich?" He stacked the meat and cheese, without the mayo or muffin, and held it up for Evan to see. It was stacked... but apparently he hadn't gathered that the muffin was kind of a necessity for making a sandwich.

Just before he was about to eat his own, Evan looked up to the ghost when he spoke again, though he shook his head before handing him an English Muffin, "Put et between dis. Is needed." he said simply.

"O--h..." Avery set his creation down and took the muffin and then pried it open perhaps a bit too roughly. He then put his stack of meat and cheese between the top and the bottom and took a bite.
It was... okay. "No--t as tas--ty." He frowned, the muffin made his mouth dry. "Wa--ter." He stood up, putting the sandwich down on top of one of the baggies and looked around. All of the cups were on the counter...
He walked toward the counter with the cups on it and stared up. It was out of his reach as he was, and so he allowed his feet to leave the floor. He could only levitate about a foot off the ground, but it was enough for him to get the cup, and then float over to the sink to get some water in it. "Y--ou thir--sty?"

Evan nodded, "Yeah---" though when he did look at the ghost, he dropped his sandwich, which thankfully landed on the baggies. "You floatin'!" He shouted in shock, his eyes wide. He had seen some weird things before, but someone floating? That was new to him.

Avery looked down at his feet, noting that yes, he was still levitating. "Y--es...." He paused as he floated back over to Evan and held out the cup. He'd go get himself a new one. "Y--ou ca--an't?" He didn't wait for an answer before repeating the cup filling process and then settling himself back onto the ground near his sandwich again.

He shook his head, "No.. I dun even has wings... my brudder has wings tho.." He said sadly, hoping that one day he could have wings and fly like some of the students he saw outside. Putting his sandwich back together, Evangelos began to pout, wanting to go out of the dorm room for more than just food. It was wearing him thin, he was a kid and he needed to be outside, not locked up in a room!

"O--h." Avery shrugged and took another bite of sandwich. "Wh--at is a bru--dder?" He tilted his head to the side, blinking a few times. He had no concept of family relations, since he had none himself. To his knowledge, anyway. "Wh--at is wr--ong with... y--our face?" He mimicked the expression with his own. "Fr--owny..."

"Can't esplain.. but I has un.." He sighed a little, still frowning as he looked up to Avery, "I's sad..can't go ootside.. brudder an' freend locked in room.." Evan looked down before he started to eat, not wanting to talk about it more.

The answer was not satisfying but he shrugged it off. Maybe he would understand later. "Wh--y not... go... ou--tside n--ow?" He raised a brow curiously. No one was watching them, the "brudder" and "freend" were locked in the room... no one could make them stay inside.
"I--ts... bri--ght ou--tside. V--ery bri--ght..." He wasn't sure if he liked it very much.

"Brudder wuld be upseet." Evan stated, having figured that Tobi would probably be very angry or distressed if he had gotten outside, which wasn't what he wanted to do.. at least not yet. He had a gut feeling that his brother needed more time for the world to slow down around him before anything else changed.

"H--ow wou--ld he kn--ow?" Avery did not quite grasp the concept that at any moment, Tobias could wake up and discover that they were gone. And it didn't help that Tobias did have free range of the dormitories building, so he could in fact figure out that his brother had managed to get outside of the building, which would lead to some serious distress.
"Bru--dder is not he--re." He shrugged and finished off the last of his sandwich and water.

"He culd wake up soon!" The boy said in a slight whine, as if upset that Avery didn't really understand what was going on and it was starting to get a little annoying trying to tell him about the things that seemed obvious to him.

"But is--n't he lo--cked in the roo--m?" Avery frowned. This was oddly specific and it didn't make any sense. He was about to say something more when the door was pulled open, causing him to shut his mouth and turn to look at whoever had come in.
Lo and behold it was Tobias, looking rather disheveled and distressed. He shuffled in, eyes focused on Evan, almost ignoring Avery's presence. "What are you doing out here? You should have woken me up to come get you food if you were hungry. D-Do you have any idea how worried I was?" His telepathy reached both toddlers, though it was louder for Evan than it was for Avery.
Avery was not sure if he liked the taller, pale one. The tone of voice was... harsh. The words meant little to him because of it. "Th--is is... bru--dder?" He turned his attention back to Evan.

Evan went completely still when he saw his brother in the doorway, flinching at the volume of the telepathic voice. "I.. thaught you wanteed more sleep.." the boy responded in his usual tone of voice - which seemed rather monotone to most people, which was true, though his true feelings were hidden deeper than usual towards almost everyone but the ghost who he had seemed to befriend.
