Glancing back as Mot answered him, Jericho raised a brow. Though, if he saw Mot's eyes more often, he would probably see the dark rings around them. Even so, the fact that he got less sleep than usual was probably a factor for why he was acting oddly.
"... Well if this is normal for you, then I really don't know you all too well," he said with a furrowed brow. The guy was kind of neurotic.

"Nothing here is normal.." Mot fell silent after that. Maybe he was being slightly abnormal, after all. The more twists and turns that they took, and all the either familiar or unfamiliar things that went by, Mot grew more anxious.
"Does it... does it usually take so long to navigate this place?" He asked nervously, looking around some more. "I don't want to be here any more. I don't like it here." Spending seven hours in there was long enough for him. How he managed to get lost for so long spoke wonders for how much of a navigator he was.

"No... not usually, but maybe I'm just used to it," Jericho said while glancing back again. The Reaper boy still looked really nervous. Almost flighty really. If the guy did bolt, he was going to need to knock him out for sure.
Actually...
Mot was a pretty thin guy. The dragon could probably overpower him pretty easily and just drag his a** to the reaper dorms without too much of a problem. Just as long as he didn't decide to whip the guns out and all.

Mot stared at the back of the Dragon's head for a while. Jericho seemed to be telling the truth. He hadn't tried to eat him or anything. He supposed he could trust him... for now.
Still, for these students able to memorize their way in such a labyrinth was amazing. Mitsu too, right? She knew her way.
...unless..
Unless it was her plan to get him lost to begin with? Why would she do that? No! No that explained everything! He had never met her on his midnight strolls before. Suddenly she was having nightmares and needed story time?
Mot stopped suddenly with a loud gasp, like the whole world just crashed down on him. "IT WAS HER ALL ALONG! MITSU LED ME HERE TO LET ME DIE!"

Cringing a bit as Mot suddenly started shouting, Jericho turned around and frowned at the guy. He's really lost it now, hadn't he?
"Mot, I seriously doubt Mitsu is malicious enough to do that," the dragon sighed. He didn't know the wolf girl all too well, but from what he had seen, she was a timid little girl.
... Then again, maybe that was what she wanted people to believe.
Oh great, Mot's crazy talk was getting to him. That was ridiculous!
"Come on, the door's up ahead."

"She got to you too..." Mot said, almsot sounding heart broken. Mot had no more friends! Jericho was working for the enemy!
DESPAIR!
And then Jericho the Traitor pointed out the exit. This was a test. What if the door was a trap. What if he was lying. What if he tried to pass him and he attacked and kidnapped him and took him back into the labyrinth for all eternity? No! Mot wanted to go back home (his dorm room)! The reaper fidgeted with his hands, leaning to the side to look around the dragon boil. Would he really let him go so easily? Mot bit his lip anxiously, fretting what to do. Freedom was so close. He could smell it, taste it, but somehow he could not work the courage to run past the dragon!traitor.
Still, that did look like the outside he remembered.
Mot slowly, step by step, made his way toward the exit, pushing the door open and stepping outside. Fresh air. Fresh, morning, Halloween air. Mot breathed in deeply and let out a sigh. He stopped just outside and stared into the sky. "I'm not dreaming, right?"

"What is that supposed to mean?" Jericho asked with a raised brow. Shaking his head, he went on outside, glancing back as Mot tentatively took his first steps out in hours.
"No. This isn't a dream," the dragon said, "Come on. Let's keep going back to your place before weird things happen."
For all he knew, the philips could be coming back for them.

Weird things? Outside? Mot nodded slowly, holding his arms close to his body as he stepped forward into the outside world some more. There were no walls here. No walls to trap and confine his movements. There were many directions and many paths. Nothing was decided for him now! Freedom! He never wanted to be stuck inside ever again. The reaper's heart began racing. He could barely handle the excitement of this amount of freedom! It was even more mind blowing then when he left home for the academy. Of course he had not been driven to the point of madness back then, though he was certainly sure he had been close to it.
"Have you ever gotten lost in there?" Mot asked, in a level of calm that could maybe pass as normal.

It sounded like Mot was gaining some of his senses back. Maybe the fresh air was doing him some good. Still, the dragon was ready to chase him down if he had to. One can never be too careful around the crazies... never know what they'd do next.
"Nope. But I'm kind of used to it. I grew up in a network of tunnels in a mountain, more or less. So it's kinda mazelike in itself," Jericho shrugged, "Feeling any better there, man?"

Tunnels. Jericho lived in mountains. So he was master of the tunnels. He knew the secrets of mazes. He ought to put up maps. Use his knowledge for the greater good. What if more reapers died in there!? "Uh...sure. Better." He stammered, shifting his eyes around. Okay, so things were getting more familliar. The reaper dorms. He knew where they were... That was where they were going... he wanted to go there, yes? But that meant more walls. And bed. But walls. Bed. Walls. Bed. Walls. Bed surrounded by walls. O_______O Mot's heart went back to racing again, and the boil began to panic. He couldn't breathe! Breath was gone! "No more walls! Never again!" Mot ran and clung to the nearest tree he saw, shimmying himself up it.

It was probably a good thing, Jericho was still sort of keeping an eye on Mot. Things seemed to be going by pretty smoothly, but then something, somewhere, the guy got spooked.
"Walls?"
Oh Jack. Did the Reaper now have a fear of walls of all things? Shaking his head, the dragon frowned and ran after Mot.
"Mot. Get down now before I burn this damn tree," he huffed. Of course, he supposed that he could try prying the guy off as well. But for now, the threat would suffice.

"YOU'LL NEVER TAKE ME ALIVE, WALL MASTER!" Mot yelled out, the crazy having taken full effect, it seemed. He climbed up further and pulled himself onto a large branch about seven feet from the ground. He stared down at Jericho, certain he was safe.
Despite the fact the dragon had wings and flames going for him.
Everyone was trying to make him stay locked up inside again. No one wanted him to be free! It was all a plot against the reaper! Maybe his mother sent these people to capture him and make him study in the darkness of his bedroom again?! That b***h. It was never enough for her! He was at school now! That's what HE wanted, and damn it, she should want the same!

Letting out an exasperated sigh, Jericho looked around before staring up at the Reaper in the tree. There were a few ways he could go about this. While burning down the tree sounded fun, there was a very good chance he'd end up hurting Mot pretty badly from doing that.
So instead, he flew.
The dragon gained a bit of altitude before diving down to see if he could try and snatch the Reaper right out of those branches.

Mot truly believed Jericho had given up, and flown into the sky to cry to the sky people. "HAH HAH! Run away, Wall Master!!!" Mot laughed to himself, safe in his tree, until he saw the dragon swoop down at him. The laughter stopped. O n O! Mot was suddenly plucked from the tree like a mouse being taken for an eagle's dinner. He yelped and flailed in the dragon's grasp. "No!!! Please don't make me go back there! I promise I'll be good!!!" He pleaded frantically, and stopped flailing in favor of clinging for dear life. Oh right. No falling from dragon grasp. Bad. That was... pretty sobering. "Uh... sorry.."

Grabbing a hold of Mot, Jericho gritted his teeth while the light Reaper flailed a bit. He didn't descend just yet too. So for now, he just sort of stayed twenty feet in the air while holding on to the guy, waiting for him to calm down. It seemed to work.
"Alright. Good. You... really need to sleep or something," he sighed while looking over towards the Reaper dorm. It would probably be better to just... fly there in case Mot tried to do anything else.
So that was what he did. And he didn't land until he was right in front of the door.
