Ladon entered the spacious "guest" room, as he was assuming, and looked out onto a wall that showed the twinkling skyscrapers of Destiny City. Standing awkwardly with a toothbrush in hand, he watched as Chris dotted over him. Giving his clothes, showing him the remote, the bathroom, and giving him permission to do as he pleased aside from burning the place down. The room was massively large, and Ladon looked around to think that he could probably place two of his apartments in just this space. It was like being at a luxurious hotel but in strange company due to embarrassing circumstances. Still, given the privacy, he still had that company that meant he wasn't alone.

Chris left with Annabel, and Ladon was a bit sad to see the dog leave. "Good night, Chris. And...thank you again." He watched the boy go before moving to the remote the boy had just used. He had seen the button and touched it, but saw the blinds remained clothes. He tried again and a light came on in the corner. After a few button tapping, he managed to shut the light and then caused the blinds to pull back open once more. He couldn't sleep with shut windows. It made the place feel like a cell. Trapped.

Smiling, he looked at the clothes and felt a bit strange wearing them, but his own clothes were wrinkled and uncomfortable to sleep in, and so he went to the bathroom with the shorts and shirt and freshened up a bit. As for a shower, it was just too strange, and he only changed into the borrowed clothes, brushed his teeth, went to the bathroom, washed his face, and then returned to the bed.

With a heavy sigh, he crawled into the covers, loving the weight of the thick yet airy comforter, and curled in the blankets, turning to look at the massive windows. The city. The planet. The people. Just like Chris, they could be kind, but they knew little about real danger.

He curled the blankets up closer to him, and felt heavy again. The warm bed, fresh clothes, and a decent meal all worked to lull him to sleep.
