"But I wouldnt want you to strip the trees of their flowers," she said in a playful whine before laying down next to him. She snuggled into his side and watched the wind gently blow the trees and make the branches and flowers sway.

"Because you are a sweet heart."
He purred this out, looking at her and pulled her closed, tail wrapped around her. He noticed the necklace, toying at it with his paw. "I see you still have it." He whispered, licking her cheek happily. His eyes flicked to the side, laughing. "I'm glad." He said, nodding softly. She liked it, it seemed. He was just happy she had something he gave her.

There was something watching the dark vixen and the light male from the shadows. Its tail twitched and ears flickered and a grumble escaped its chest. Its eyes narrowed on the couple. Obviously someone wasn't happy."I am I suppose"
Ava snuggled closer to him stealing his warmth as her tail wrapped around his. "Of course I still have it. Why wouldnt i? It was a gift from you and its lovely,"she stated like it was completely obvious. Her ears twitched hearing something. She quickly sat up her eyes scanning their surroundings. "What are you doing on my lands? Why are you here?" a cold serious voice called with a hint of annoyance. "What are you doing with him? Get over here now," irritation was written all over in that voice as the vixen slowly came out of the shadows so she would be fully seen.

Allu blinked when he heard a voice, jumping to Ava's side and guarding her in seconds. Until he saw the vixen. She looked like Ava, slightly, if barely. The male blinked at her, her sister? She was to young to be a mom! Carefully, still protecting Ava, he said:
"This isn't your lands. It does not belong to an Elder, so it belongs to everyone." He stated firmly. "And she wanted me here."

Ava hung her head ears laying on her head in a submissive mode. She knew who the other female was and she was right these where her lands and Allu was wrong. Nudging Allu, she said softly "She is an elder kinda. She is starting a tribe and I'm suppose to be learning to take her place,"
Joou watched the male stand in front of Ava and arched an eyebrow. "She should have asked me if you could come," her head raised with authority. "Ava come along your duties aren't finished."
Ava walked passed Allu brushing her side against his. "Yes ma'am," she said nuzzling Allu's neck than continuing on to the vixen.

He blinked at the vixen, shocked. Wait, if she was an Elder... why was she being so harsh? And Ava was being ordered around by some random person! It wasn't fair! It was his duty to protect her!
"That isn't fair." He stated, eyes narrowing at the woman. "She's my girlfriend, and it's my duty to protect her, even from demanding ladies like you. You should let her have some sort of a break, or she'll wear down!"[/b[
He was defiant, noting the woman raise her head and also doing the same, he would protect his girlfriend!

Joou chuckled knowingly. "You little boy have no clue who I am. You just think I'm some elder. I am her elder but I'll let her tell you who I am." She knew the boy wasn't going to expect what little ava was going to say.
Ava took a deep breath and talked to Allu calmly, "Allu this is Joou my mother," She watched him with her eye wondering how he would react. She was scared that he would turn away from her for her not telling him.

Allu blinked. Mother? Oh s**t, he was meeting Ava's mom! Still, STILL! That didn't excuse her!
"Then you need to be even more lenient!" He said, stepping forward, determined. "She is your daughter, she has two duties. As the one to be taking over your job, and as your daughter. She needs time to relax once or twice! She doesn't have just one duty to you, but two." He looked at Ava, not angry. It wasn't even a big deal at all.
He hadn't told her about his brother. He needed to tell her so much, now that he thought about it.

Joou eyed the fired up male, "What would you know of duties?" She asked she didnt suspect that he knew much. "She has had time to her self. She has obviouslly found a way to meet you who has still not stated who he is,"
"He is my mate Allu,"Ava stated proudly standing a bit taller. She could tell her mom wasnt impressed with him. But he was on the defense and could see why kind of.

Allu eyed the woman, tail flicking back and forth. "You think I'm some irresponsible screw up? I know of duties!" His eyes narrowed when she mentioned Ava having time off, making a soft "tch" sound before suddenly hearing Ava. He too seemed proud, tail wagging when he glanced at Ava.
"She's my mate~" He confirmed, replacing "girlfriend" with mate. "I'm from the city." He added, blinking slightly and relaxing very, very slowly.

"Did I ever say you were a screw up? No I didn't I just asked what you knew of duites. You are young there is a chance you know something or nothing at all. You assumed that I was saying you knew nothing which is rude of you,"Joou stated before turning toward the bushes. "Come we will take him to the waterfall."
Ava smiled to her self. He called her his mate instead of his girlfriend. That meant alot to her. It meant that he accepted her as part of his life and something that was permanent. Girlfriend meant that they could be permanent. or they could fall apart or to her thats what it meant. "Ok mother." Nudging Allu, "Come on please."

He was about to tell the woman he wasn't going anywhere with her when Ava asked him to come, tail wiggling as he followed her, sliding up beside Ava. He licked her cheek, eying the woman.
"She says she doesn't know me, but I don't even know her name. Hypocrite." He whispered to his mate, tail flicking side to side, annoyed if anything.

Joou could hear the male but didn't comment. She just lead the way to the falls where they would all get to know each other better.
Ava shook her head. "I stated her name to you dear and than I stated your name to her. I think you just got caught up on the fact that she is my mother that you didn't hear. Anyways her name is Joou. It means queen."Ava whispered back to him.

"If anything I thought she'd be sweet and fluffy like you." He laughed softly, nuzzling Ava. "Though, that just makes you special, princess." Fine, Joou could give him a hard time, whatever. He didn't care. All he cared about was pleasing Ava, not her. No one could stop him from loving Ava! Not even some vixen with a name such as queen. Or a stupid Elder. Ava was his little princess, and he'd love her forever.

"She used to be but....my dad has been gone a long time. I think its starting to break her kind spirit. I think she is heartbroken and its eating at her. I know it would to me if you just up and left me like he did her. And she really loves him. He has been gone a long time and she is still waiting for him,"Ava said sadly. Her mother never used to be like this. She had always been happier more alive and kind. But things started to change as time passed on and dad wasn't there.
Joou was trying to ignore what they were saying but maybe they were right. She sighed and walked further ahead to not hear much more. Cause she did hurt with him gone.
