Sangria wasn't sure if her action had been received well by her sister but she wouldn't worry about it for too long. For most of her life she'd wished for someone she could relate to as a young filly. Most, if not all, of her childhood friends had shied away from associating with her once they learned of her strange habits. Essentially her way of life had ostracized her from her peers. Thankfully her father was always there to console his daughter. And now there was a chance that he could meet and help yet another daughter.
As Belle nuzzled her in reply Sangria gave her sister a searching look that was filled with encouragement. "We share that dream in common now. I don't want to rest until we can track down our sibling. Who knows what their life has been like."
As Belle voiced her fears about meeting Relic Sangria gave a soft sigh. It was a logical feeling to be apprehensive but she knew her father well enough. "I think that it'll be all right Jezabelle. Father might be stunned at first but he will quickly get over the shock. Seeing you might do him some good. It's true that you might remind him of our mother but I don't see how that could be a bad thing. I know for a fact that he still harbors feelings for Jessamine."

Belle met her sister's gaze; nervous, hopeful, in awe that she was truly experiencing this amazing moment, sharing it with the sister who had slid into her life to fill a hole in her heart she hadn't even realized was there. She blinked back tears and nodded, momentarily rendered speechless by the passion in Sangria's voice. "We will find them." she replied firmly, "We belong together, no one should have to face life alone. I only hope that they're life has been easier.... And yet I don't even know where to begin...."
Unless...
Her heart jumped within her chest.
There was only one person in the world who could send them in the right direction.
"We'll have to go to mother.... But, perhaps it would be best if we brought father along as well." She glanced to the side and down, trying not to betray the nervousness that quivered her limbs. All her work to escape, only to walk right back into Jessamine's arms. The prospect also filled her with anticipation, Jezabelle adored her mother regardless of her flaws, regardless of the wrongs she had committed against her. Belle loved Jessamine....But she didn't trust her.
She swallowed the storm of emotions that threatened to overwhelm her and cast her sister a sly, sidelong glance. "Does he now?" she felt a surge of longing, to see her broken family reunited, a child's dream, but anything seemed within reach. "We should go to him."

"I couldn't agree more with your statement. No one should live life alone. No one really knows where to begin but perhaps our mother has some answers to questions that we need to ask of her."
Sangria's meddling might not have been welcome. However the mare squelched any feeling of remorse for her father at the moment as the prospect of learning more about Jessamine was brought into clarity. To play the cards right Sangria believed that they needed Father with them when they went to see Jessamine. Things could get messy fast ... but maybe the shock between their parents would be great enough that things could fall neatly into place.
"He does at that. He likes to think that he's not affected by reminders of her but I'm of his flesh and blood and I know how his mind sometimes works."
Sangria nudged her sister's side as she voiced that they should go find Relic. "I second that statement sister. I'll lead to where we might find him at this hour. Follow me."
