Vincent landed roughly outside the palace entrance. a guard hurried up to him, calling his name. Standing up and clutching his head, he smiled to the guard despite the effect that the insanity was having on him. "Don't worry about me, just let me go and rest a bit inside. I'll be fine soon." With that said, Vincent stumbled inside the palace, and made his way to the diningroom, where he sat down in a chair and rested his head on the table. Slowly his mind wandered, though sleep would not come. After a while, Vicnent lifted his ehad, and took out his sister's watch. Opening it, the soft melody began to play, bringing a slow wave of calm over Vincent. Soon, the insanity would disappear, as it always did to this tune.

It had been too long since Vincent could remember hearing the melody that was played by the watch. The sound was so much more calming than anything that he could think of, and it helped relax him immensely. His mind drifted away after a short while, becoming cleared of insanity slowly. He could sense the anger from his blood, knowing that it was not satisfied with what it had received in return for Vincent's gain. Sighing lightly, Vincent thought outloud. "It's nice to be home... Though I'm still unsure about the state of things out here. I can sense unrest in the air." Suddenly, a voice pervaded the silence that surrounded the young boy. He spun his head, his eyes shooting open, to see Grave standing nearby. "Grave, right? Sorry, but my head's still fuzzy from my... Relapse." Standing up, Vincent pulled out the seat next to him, and beckoned Grave over. "Come, sit. I'm glad you are here. I feel as if you may be able to tell me exactly why things seem so tense in the world."

"Aqua... Okay then, Aqua it is." Now that he was feeling calmer, Vincent was s slight bit more cheerful. He listened carefully to what Aqua said, yet the news of a war did not come as a surprise. As the other man spoke, memories flooded Vincent, especially that of the destruction of a village just outside of Indelca. "Though I am glad Indelca has made it out alright, what of the other countries. Do you know anything more detailed?" Worry poured over the boy, as well as hope towards the safety of those he knew in this world.
Sitting up straighter, Vincent added in more before Aqua could speak. "And what of you, what brings you here to Indelca? As I'm sure you're aware, Dante is gone... Unless someone took his place in my absence?"

Vincent took in all that Aqua said carefully, giving his full attention. At least most of the world seemed to be hanging on well enough, though the boy still held fears for those he knew, those who held importance to him. As Aqua finished speaking though, the man's last words clicked in his head. Aqua wanted Indelca? To be king of the nation he called home? "And pray tell me what caused this want of yours? Is it the fact that Dante is gone? Or is there more? I know that you are from here, this wondrous home of mine and yours, but I must be sure of your intentions before I even begin to consider what you've said. Why do you wish for Indelca?" Though the man had said that Indelca remained mostly unaffected by the world's state, there would still be those who were devasted. A change in power would be a touchy thing, and there would be much to deal with conerning the citizens. Having nothing against the man personally, Vincent had no problem with Aqua or what he knew of him, but they boy had to be sure that backing him would be what was best for the country.

Sensing the honesty in Aqua's words, as well as seeing it clearly written on his face, Vincent decided it would be alright to trust the man. Smiling softly, the young boy patted the man on his back, and talked more freely and happily with the man. "Aqua, I think that you would do well. Your heart seems to be in the right place no matter what, so I feel it okay to trust you. I must tell you though that work may very well await you here in this country. Without a king, much has been left abandoned or deserted. That and the order has suffered. Perhaps some cleaning up will become necessary for the advancement of Indelca." Vincent stood up and walked around the table. He was lost in thought for a small bit, ideas running through his mind. Stopping opposite to Aqua, the boy smiled largely. "I know you'll do fine, my lord." With that, Vincent walked over to the man and kneeled down beside him. "I, Vincent Xerxelia, swear my fealty unto you, and will vow to stand by your side as Knight of Indelca." Rising, the boy's smile had grown, and he let a small laugh escape.

Where tom to start... That was perhaps the greatest question that needed answering. Vincent moved over to one of the many windows in the dining room, and looked out to the part of the city he could see. Beginning to think, the boy came up with a few valid points of interest. "The biggest concerns I can think of are these three. First, with Dante gone I am sure that the Fighter's Guild will be done for. We'll need to see if we can clear that out. Second, Snowfall Village is destroyed... We need to fix that. So many must have suffered, and I wish to end that. Third, someone will have to oversee the training of those who wish to become a part of Indelca, and grow. We will need to make sure that everything is taken care of in that respect." Turning to Aqua, the young boy smiled widely. "If need be, I can oversee training as much as it needs." Vincent walked over to the man, and gave him his full attention. "Now, what have you to say? And do show me what you've brought."

"Then I shall oversee all that I can, along with instructing what teachers we have left to help. I trust that you will do well with your endeavours as well. As for these..." Vincent motioned to the plans that Aqua had shown him. "They look as if they wouldbe beneficial to the growth. Though I hope you don't mean to make the baton mandatory. I for one have all I need in my own body." The boy laughed at this, and could not help but be thankful for a moment towards that convenience his blood gave him. Clapping the man's shoulder, the boy spoke softly. "I believe in us, and I am sure that change will happen, and it will be good. Just say the word, and I am off to do my work. Also, if there is anything else you wish for me, simply let me know, my friend." Vincent spoke the last word with kindness, and a still-large smile.
