Skadi stood up, and laughed mirthfully. "Oh of course, you had that situation handled." She quickly gained seriousness. "I didn't have to come help you. I could of easily let that madman slit your throat, and never given you a second thought." Skadi paused, that wasn't the entire truth. "You're welcome." She said dismissively. A cold breeze swept through the alley, picking up trash and snow.

Cerra decided to put on her jacket, for a cold breeze blew through the street, giving her arms goose bumps. "It's time for me to leave Thobie," she told herself more than Skadi.
"What town is the closest west of here?" she asked, looking Skadi in the eyes. Skadi had a cold, calculated glare; obviously, she had been through some hard times. Cerra could just barely make out a hint of warmth within her, past the glare. She assumed Skadi was the type of person that trusted no one except themselves.

"Nearest village? You are better off just going straight to Mimir. The only other village that isn't deserted is Sindri. a few hundred miles to the east. Good luck." Skadi exited the alley and began to head south-east. She had some business to finish off at Sigyn Beach.

Straight west to Mimir; that was well over 150 miles from where she stood now. She wished she had a map, but she had her compass and as long as she headed west, she would be on her way to Mimir- she just didn't know what sorts of terrain she had to travel on to get there.
"Well, I guess it was nice to meet..." Cerra began, but when she turned back to Skadi, she had already vanished in the twilight of the street. Cerra gave a little half smile; sure Skadi was an unapproachable and slightly cold-hearted human being, she was fine company to have during a fight!
Since she already had all of her things on her back, she turned onto a new street the faced west and started walking; not helping but to think that she had saved not only a family, but also many other lives from the unstable man.
She also reminded herself she had to be more careful; real life situations were far different from training with Kopyitch.
