Lionel knowing Clarks Kryptonian name... His tipping Chloe off about "Dr. Fine" when he knows she is going to tell Clark... Lionel trying to get Lex to drop out of the race for the Senate... I'm not entirely sure Lionel's helping Martha is because of his feelings for her... His buying the tape from the guard that tried to black mail martha.... and in the trailer for next weeks "Saw" themed show -rolls eyes- Lionel says something to martha when she has the gun pointed at him...

BUt see that doesn't really tell me anything about how he is Jor-el. Thats just telling me he is looking out for Clark. Besides the knowing his kryptonian name thing, you don't have much backing up the whole Jor-el is Lionel thing. I think you are on to something, just keep gathering your info.

How else would Lionel know Clarks birth name? and why wouldn't be try to manipulate Clark knowing his secret as Morgan Edge did... I mean Lionel is 10x as worse as Morgan Edge... well manipulate really isn't the word... but you know where I'm getting at...

Yeah i do, but im sure there is a way Lionel could have figured out his birthname. I mean he did have the guy from the Jail who could have helped him with that.... I donno. Im not saying that i don't believe you im just saying there is not much evidence backing it up, you have the pretty much straight forward stuff. but im guessing that it will all unraval soon ninja

I agree with DestineChaos Lionel is Jer-El. If the really Lionel Luther knew Clark wasn't human and was really an Alian, hints knowing the name, he would use it against Clark and not keep it a secret. Lionel is devious and evil were as the Lionel were being introduced to is well protective and good all things considered.

See i think that Lionel was Jor-el in Reckoning when Jonathon had his heart attack. I agree with Chaos there, but Lionel is not Jor-el all the time, only when Clark needs physical changes in his life, something that will effect who he will later become, with his life in Metrpolis, and the Man that he becomes.
