If it isn't one thing, It's another. ENGINEER BAAKZ[[EDIT!!!]] Baakz could hear someone up and about. In the mess hall. It being relative morning (Who could really tell the time, out here in space?), they would want their cup of coffee. Humans always did. Hurriedly finishing off his sandwich (yet managing to relish every bite), Baakz scurried off into the bowels of the ship. It was high time for that hiding place.

Coming into the kitchen, Alex noticed not a single part of the crew in sight. "Men." She hissed darkly, rolling her eyes as she approached the fridge, relieved to see the bottles of water she loaded in last night were sitting there nice and cool, just waiting to be drank. As she reached in and grabbed one, she eyes the fruit draw carefully, wondering if anyone slipped in one of their strange fruits from their own worlds. Deciding to risk it, she poked one of her hands into the draw, relieved when she came out with an apple from Earth. Sadly thought, this was her last apple, meaning she would either have to resort to junk food from Earth, or trying the strange other foods carried... Maybe on the next planet they would stop at a Trader's Market and find some earthly foods waiting for them. She hadn't quite grown accustomed to other worldy foods yet... And some of the food Engineer Baakz ate sort of scared her...

At the thought of her crew, Alex closed the fridge door, glancing around and wondering where everyone else was. Part of her knew that Baakz was more then likely in his room, up and tinkering with some crazy contraption she would have known nothing about. But that left her to question where Johann and Serph where. It was times like this, that she wished she were back on Earth with her drill sergeant. Hell, that man knew how to wake a house up, his voice shouldn't have been possible to be as loud as it was, but it was loud. So loud, she could have sworn she could hear him all the way in the depths of space when he was angry. And he was angry a lot.

Washing away the thoughts of her old drill sergeant, Alex settled down to sit at the kitchen table, throwing her legs up on the chair across from hers to stretch them out. Without a captain, the responsibility fell on her, and thought she wasn't fond of the responsibility, she took it without questioning. Though it was morning like this, she wished she questioned more.

After taking a few swigs of her water, and biting into her apple, suddenly she shot up from her seat, a vein popping in her temple. "What the hell do they think this is!? A vacation!?" Alex hissed darkly, tossing her half eaten apple in the trash can, only half knowing she would regret wasting such a precious item later. But she was a bit irked this morning. They had a job to discuss, and they wanted to do was sleep in!?

Briskly she started down the hall, heading directly for Serph and Johann's rooms first. She knew she didn't need to bother Baakz, once he heard the noise, he'd probably come out. So once she got to Serph's door, she knocked loudly, hoping that was enough to wake him. Immediately after, she found Johann's door, knocking just as loud. In a voice louder then the normal conversation level, Alex spoke to the two of them through their doors. "We've got things to discuss. Meet me in the kitchen in 20."

Without another word, she turned to head back to the kitchen, only then remembering the apple she had so carelessly thrown away in her agitation. She let out a loud defeated sigh, her shoulders slouching as she continued back to the kitchen. "And you both owe me an apple." She added in a lower tone, knowing perfectly she would not get her apples.

Identification Tag: What's the scoop milkshakeCodename: Temperance Catherine Black
Race: Human...as far as I can tell?
 Rank: Navigation officer.
Skills: Well where to begin? Skills with various weapons, Including assult riffles, sniper riffles and she carries a katana with her, it was give to her by her father. Oh and she can cook.
Bio Summary: Never did Temperance imagine that her life would change so much, it seemed like the people on her world were the driving force for it's own destruction; how could they be so blind to what they were doing? And from this a group of rebels were formed, against the goverment but with a cause. Even if that is not something often held by rebels. However this did not last long. Seeing no reason to stay Temperance joined a crew of privateers with the destination of space. As for personality well it comes with the territory she is extremely hot headed at times, sarcastic and kind of cold but this only shows it's surface if she is annoyed which happends to be most of the tiem but don't get me wrong she is nice and mischevious inbetween.

These days Temperance really didn't sleep all that much, it wasn't by choice it seemed to be the way her body worked and quite frankly it was rather painful at times. Although her dreams were not all that much better than her reality. Rolling over on her side she stretched, a small yawn passed her lips as she slowly got to her feet, just staring into the dark for a few moments allowing her eyes to adjjust. Never in a million years did she expect to be on a space ship in space no less, and she did not imagine how much her life would change. But would it turn out for the better? One had to eventually be sick of fighting everyone and everything in there path. Temperance
”Well here’s to a new day” Temperance said running her fingers through her short hair before exiting the sleeping her sleeping quarters before heading towards the kitchen – her trusty weapons at her side. Never had she been seen without them – and I am sorry but that was not going to change anytime soon. As she was moving around the ship Temperance noticed there was not much movement; had everyone slept in...again? Well that combined with the fact she was normally and early riser anyway. But don't let that bother you.

Turning the corner she walked through the kitchen door noticing instantly that there was someone in there, peering her eyes slightly she saw Alex standing there, "good morning" Temperance said with a slight smile on her face just as she took a seat at the kitchen table. The cold air made her shiver slightly as she sat there, feeling a little bit uncomfortable.

"Good morning." Alex replied back in an overly cheerful voice, trying to disguise her frustration with the others as she skimmed carelessly through one of the newspapers she grabbed from the previous planet they were on. Nothing exciting was going on there, which was why they had ditched that planet quickly and continued onward in their space quest. Setting down the newspaper, Alex looked up and noticed Temperance shivering slightly. "Oh, I'm sorry. If it's too cool in here for you, feel free to turn down the A/C I kicked it up high this morning because I was in the gym."
On that note, she got up, deciding that maybe making some coffee would ease her nerves. Normally, she didn't drink coffee, she preferred tea much more. But she had used their last packet of tea yesterday, so she was either to suffer with no caffeine, or swallow her dislikes and drink the damn coffee. "Wanna cup of coffee-" Alex had began to ask Temperance, before she took a good look at the coffee machine. Now suddenly, it made sense why at least Baakz wasn't out here. "Nevermind." Alex said with a forced laugh, "Damn thing's busted."

Walking away from the broken coffee machine, Alex sighed, returning to her spot at the table. "I suppose we're going to have to stop at the next planet to restock on supplies..." Alex muttered gently, only half speaking to Temperance. It was a habit of hers to say things aloud when she needed to remember then. Anyone on their crew should have known by now that it wasn't a surprise to find Alex mumbling to herself as she walked down the halls. Though this time, she seemed at least aware someone else was there, looking up at Temperance with a considering glance, "Is there anything you can think of that we need?" Alex asked her, deciding to take a list of inventory down that they would need to pick up on the next planet.

If it isn't one thing, It's another. ENGINEER BAAKZHah! See anyone find him here! This was a prime hiding place; he would have to remember it. And the best thing about hiding behind the backup power reserve was that he could tinker with it while he was hiding. He'd been meaning to see could he get some more juice up to the stabilizer. And now that it was -- however temporarily-- fixed, they could finally start moving again. Yes, more power...
Baakz was soon lost in his own private world, working with the reserve generator and trying to patch in a secondary source to the ship's power conduits. He didn't hear the whirring hum of the generator, he didn't hear his muttered curses in his native tongue, he didn't hear the crackling of the power as he finally got the ship to accept two sources, although, if he had, he would probably deduce that others could hear them as well.

Hyle looked down at the pile of garbage. "You're the drinker between the two of us, so its your job. And if she did stop pushing, you'd just be a really fleshy grappling hook." Stepping over the trash, Hyle made his way to the kitchen, maybe there was some OJ left in the fridge. That is, if Gilliam didn't mix it with anything. He opened the fridge only to be welcomed by more empty bottles and cans. "God damn...son of a...screw it."
Smokeless and now OJ-less, Hyle's day wasn't getting any better. They really needed cash. It's amazing that Starwind didn't get repo'd at this point. No high bounties were out, and they didnt have the greatest reputation either. For the longest time, Hyle had suggested joining the GP as actual privateers. But out of respect for his brother's pride, he never forced the option on Gilliam. But Hyle's trademark near-eternal patience was growing thin. "GIL! WE'RE GONNA BE WORKING FOR THE GP NOW!" On that note, Hyle was out the door and on his way into the city to nearest GP complex.

'Gil'. Hyle never called Gilliam Gil unless he was pissed. And he was pissed.

Upon hearing Hyle's claim that they were going to be working for the Galactic Privateers Gilliam began to dress faster. "Screw those assholes; they're just pirates on the Galactic payroll!" He shouted, but the slam of the door told him that Hyle could no longer hear him. In his frustration he left the complex they had rented, pants undone, one shoe on, struggling to pull his head through the sleeve of his shirt, and headed to the dock where they had left the StarWind.
Gil knew Hyle was angry. s**t wasn't going well for the brothers, so it didn't surprise him that Hyle was more easily angered than usual. "What can we do to change our current situation?" Gil wondered out loud. He had arrived at the docks and made his way through the workers to the ship. Once inside he opened the small armory the two had on board. It was in a well hidden panel in the ship so it was unlikely to be snatched by greedy dock workers. He would emerge with two handguns, one loaded with rubber bullets, the other, hollow points, with additional magazines. "Let's hunt some small time crooks."

			            On the lonely road...

...The only road I know Nathan quickly flew through the docks, narrowly avoiding the ships and crew there, buzzing over plenty of puzzled faces as he made his escape from the five remaining hitmen that Mr. Clark Hired. James got him the job, someone he thought would always be his friend, and he set him up. "Just a simple job, shouldn't be a problem for someone as good as you nathan, Mr. clark is a great guy, he'll take good care of you..." he had told him, he was even there when he met Mr. Clark "Thanks James, remind me to repay you next time we meet." Nathan muttered to himself. The docks were busier than usual today and that made getting out of there with all possible haste quite the chore, he almost hit a ship labeled "StarWind" and narrowly avoided a docking arm as he found the Dock's exit and blasted through, the small ship's engines whining in protest as he set them to full burn and blasted his way as far as possible from the docks.

If it isn't one thing, It's another. ENGINEER BAAKZAfter a short period of adjusting the generator, Baaks decided that the rest of the crew would likely be awake enough not to eject him from the airlocks for sabotaging the coffee machine now. Leaving his hiding place, Baakz made his way up to what the humans referred to as the bridge, but was actually a small room dedicated to navigation and piloting. Baakz didn't quite get why his shipmates called it a bridge when it didn't span any gaps, as did bridges.
The navigation officer was gone. Why did humans feel the need to sleep so long? There were things to do! The ship wouldn't fly itself out of this gap between habitable worlds. Baakz checked one of the displays and saw that, with his repairs to the stabilizer, they had a shot at reaching a nearby moon with a spacedock on it. Leaving the bridge, he decided to look for the rest of the crew. Now if Baakz was a human (he shuddered at the thought), where would he be?

((OOC: Sorry I didn't reply for a few days guys, I was a little crazy. XD; Oh! And milkshake said she would be back soon, she took a temporary LOA to get her school work done.))
Leaving Temperance in the kitchen, Alex decided to head to the bridge, where she was hoping their navigation officer was beginning his daily maintenance before starting the ship up to go. She wanted to get in and discuss with him what she they planned to do; which was stop to get some decent food and hopefully snag up a good job or two. They had just completed their last mission about two days ago, leaving them a few days 'vacation' to relax. About half way there, she rounded a corner, and nearly bumped into Baakz.

"Ahh, Baakz." Alex said in a pleased voice, "I'm so glad to see someone besides Temperance and I are up among the living, and not wasting the morning away in their dreams." She laughed harshly for a second, before she smiled, "How are you this mornin'?"

On the lonely road... ...the only road i've ever known After he was sure he had put enough distance between himself and those who wished to harm him, Nathan brought the engines offline to let them cool down, and sat back and contemplated his current predicament. As he sat in the cold cabin of the small ship he reflected over the past few days, he had went from an incredibly successful bounty hunter to an incredibly valuable bounty. "How can this day get any worse, oh son of a b***h..." As his ship drifted he slowly entered the range of a large GP vessel "I just had to say something didn't I...This could be interesting though..." He brought the engines back online and slowly made his way to the large ship. Once he got within a few meters, he sealed his suit, grabbed all the weapons he could, and programmed the ship's computer to keep up with the GP vessel. "Well, here goes nothing" He opened the Airlock facing the large ship and jumped the small gap between ships, his magnetic boots instantly clinging to the side of the GP ship. He quickly found an entrance into the ship via an exhaust port and made his way inside. "Now let's just see how far this boat goes..." Making his way out of the exhaust vents and into a seeming empty portion of the ship, Nathan looked around to find a computer or other data port so he can find out just what kind of ship this was. He found a small data terminal and after a little persuasion he managed to get a crew list "Hmmm, no captain? Interesting..." He logged out and moved on, hopefully he could gather some supplies and maybe some ammo before he tried to find some way off this boat.

I am Good this morning. Good. And good to see more of the ships' crew up, yes. Yes, has Acting Commander Tearlach seen, hmmm, Navigation Officer Black? For a moment, Alex stared at Baakz with a confused look, wondering who Navigation Officer Black was. Then it hit her. "Oh wow, I'm not awake yet." Alex joked with Baakz, though, she figured he would not take her words as a joke, "Temperance was in the kitchen last time I saw her." Truth be told, acting as stand in commander sort of threw Alex through a loop. She never liked being in charge, she felt a great deal of stress resting on her shoulders with all of the duties that came with it, which gave her the tenancy to be a bit forgetful or scatter-brained at times. That probably was a really bad thing though, considering she was in charge until their Captain arrived.

"I had a few questions for Temperance myself... shall we head off to the kitchen-" She began, before she heard a faint beeping coming from the bridge. They hadn't meant up far from the bridge, and the noise was just loud enough for them both to hear. Casting a confused look at Baakz, Alex moved past him, walking briskly to the bridge where one of the sleeping terminals for the security system was lighting up and beeping. Now that she was in the room however, the noise was much louder then before. Glancing down at the screen, Alex let out a loud sigh, frowning as a map of the ship came up, with a flashing red light in the room where all of their data was kept. "An intruder." Alex mumbled darkly, reaching down for the pistol she kept strapped to her leg constantly. Many called her old fashioned for using such a standard weapon, but she had yet to encounter a being who couldn't be wounded by a simple gun shot. "Baakz!" Alex called out, unsure of whether their engineer had followed her into the Bridge or not, "We've got a situation."
