"Can you blame me for being good at that? I mean, taking a girl from behind in the dark. Am I right?" Chaonis countered, arching an eyebrow and waggling it as he grinned. He could be very juvenile when he wanted to, but most of the time it was controlled and pointed.
He looked at Europa, since the knight had taken his exit, his grin and eyebrow still in place. As if he were expecting a reaction from someone before he was willing to move on.
Painite, for her part, was not interested in this fight any more. She had the disadvantage, two eternal senshi up there now, not to mention a pounding head ache. She felt battered enough for one night, just from the fall, and would have to come back later to deal with that knight.
She would get his starseed, now that she had met him. He was on her list.
Letting the two senshi bicker, she teleported out of the hole and away from the scene. Back to the drawing board. But she had plenty of ideas already, and could very easily perfect that cat and mouse tactic if she worked harder on it. She tried to stay positive, even in the face of defeat.
If she didn't, she'd've given up completely a long time ago.

Europa didn't fancy hanging out in the company of senshi who made jokes about rape any longer than she had to. At the very least she had something to tell Castor next time she saw him: that she had finally met someone even less emotionally mature than he was.
She rolled her eyes at Chaonis. "Oh, you slay me," she senshi of the deep deadpanned. At this rate it would be faster to skip the theatrics and take care of the general in the hole herself. Europa turned her attention back to the trap, and found it disappointingly empty.
"Stupid ******** negas and their stupid ******** teleportation," she swore, glaring at Chaonis. While he was busy making innuendos, Painite had gotten away! "This is your fault," she steamed. There was no point in staying here without the officer, because it wasn't like she enjoyed his company. At all.
Europa gave Chaonis one last simpering look and stomped off into the darkness, following Babylon's vaguely luminescent footprints out of the construction site. Well, she couldn't help but think dismally. That had been a complete and utter bust.

Why was it people always blamed Chaonis for their failures?
He crossed his arms over his chest and watched her as she walked off, shaking his head. Some people were just rude. "You're welcome!" He called after her, with a grin, then he made to get himself out of there.
There was no reason for him to stick around, either.
In his mind, though, it hadn't been a waste of time at all. He had met another Eternal senshi, for one, and get a better idea of these knight guys. They were big wusses, and not worth his time. But at least he had learned that fairly easily, instead of some harder, more annoying way.
And he had saved their lives. Even if they didn't think so and wouldn't remember it, he would certainly remind them if ever they met again.
