"Oh, Fluorite," the Negaverse General said, smiling even before the Captain had a chance to turn to see her, "you should have called me sooner! Look at all this fun I've been missing already!"
Painite had been out on a hunt, gathering energy and pondering calling one or two of her Lieutenants for some training or a devious endeavor of epic proportions. She had actually been holding her crystal, aiming to summon them if they were already powered up for the evening, when it had begun to vibrate.
When she heard the word 'knight', she had been on it white on rice, as the saying went. Though she didn't particularly understand it.
Her long, dangerous looking weapon clasped firmly in her hand, she looked around to get her bearings. She had teleported in, which was far less difficult now than it had been at Captain, as soon as she realized that one of her friends needed her. She certainly couldn't leave her tiny buddy in the clutches of an Eternal senshi and a despicable knight, could she?
That would be very poor form, on her part.
Of course, her energy would be picked up on instantly by the senshi and knight below, but she didn't seem fussed about it. Let them see her. She recognized many of them, anyway. And she had bones to pick with them, various ones. And the knight she hated regardless of knowing her or not, simply because she was, in fact, a knight.
That starseed would be hers.
"What have we got going on here, then?"

"Sorry, General." It was so hard to keep rank with Painite sometimes. Not because she wasn't worth respect, far from it, but... well, she was Painite.
They might not think her aware, but she had a very fair guess as to why her and her brother spend so much time together. And it involved more than just patrol, she would bet.
"I don't think he's that stupid, but if Alunite shows up, teleport him to timbuctu."
Seriously.
Hopefully more were in the process of coming.
"I have no damn idea." Hesperis shook her head. "I can't truly pinpoint the source..."
Then another aura came in. An aura Hesperis had never felt before. It felt so... so wrong. "What the s**t is that ?"
Her grip on her staff turned a little tighter. Of all the times to not have her headset to call backup !
She felt a little overwhelmed and... lost, really.
"Captain. A General."
And an eternal energy signature that hadn't been here a minute ago.
It was perhaps irony that the senshi of noise had sneaked on them, but it looked like he had - having taken perch on one of the cabins. He'd been on patrol, and well... a large gathering of senshi (plus a random knight... ********, how old was that dude ?!) didn't quite go unnoticed.
"Might be best to find them before more can teleport in." Then, he looked at Europa. "Nice buttwings."
Says the guy with buttwings visible from space.

"Where are you, Fluo?" She responded back not even a moment later. The senshi was sitting ontop a roof, pretty sure no one would have been stupid enough to climb the 15 story building in a attempt to get to her. Hell... Even if she dropped from this height she had a suspicion she would die.
Good thing about being a Corrupted senshi the rank of a general... she could teleport. If she wanted she probably could leap off the building and teleport before she hit the ground... but she would test this theory on shorter falls, just in case. Butt wings and magic or not, senshi could not fly.
She waited patiently for her answer, and got it a moment later. "Ill be there-" A rush of power as she ported not even 10 feet from the captain. "In a second." She smiled, putting the small stone back in whatever storage unit it came from.
Though while she expected to see Fluorite, someone else was standing in her line of sight. Someone with a familiar power feeling... and hair color. "Painite? Is that you? Ah!" She jumped over to the new general, and swung her arms around her in a brief hug. "Oh my god! You upgraded! Congrats!" She was still leaning against the other general, as she followed her eyesight down to the pool... and the massive power readings. "... Them gathering like that is ASKING us to track them down. Man... their combined auras are enough to give someone a headache." This was not good. While Two general ranks and a Captain was a force to be reconned with, they had at least two eternals down there as well.
"... What is that odd feeling mixed in with the senshi?" Lyra has yet to meet a knight before. "...Leaves a bad taste in my mouth."

Alexandre still didn't now why he'd let Christa bribe him in to coming to the pool, it was filled with people. Not only was it filled with children but the running and loud voices, he'd actually grinded his teeth upon arrival. The sound of yelling people made him wince even as his teeth had grinded. He really hated lots of people acting like...children. Forget the fact he was a child himself, he didn't act like one and hadn't in some time. Well he did and yet he didn't. He didn't go around being loud and causing trouble and yet he did know how to have what he considered to be a good time. He went out shopping, he did complain about teachers he disliked, he did go to carnivals and haunted houses and other basic things. Though perhaps those things were too general to be considered normal teenage things.
Either way he had tried to keep his distance from the rough housing even as he enjoyed the cool water against his skin. It was those boys from Hillworth and the ST. MAGDALENA girls which both were roudy and annoyingly loud. Rolling his eyes, as he avoided being splashed in the face by some Hillworth boy being dumped into the pool by an apparent classmate. Moving further away, closer to the edge of the pool, Alexandre was hopeful he'd be safe here.
Of course when he thought he was safe he was, from splashing idiots, but not from other things. By now he'd learned what a youma was so knew what he saw coming toward the pool like some rabid dog was a youma. He'd jumped out of the pool, much like everyone else, but didn't go running out of the area. Rather than run for cover, or just plain run out of the area and head home or some other place, the blond took off for a hiding place in order to change.
Where once there was a dripping yet, swim trunks clad, teenager now stood a fully clothed, thankfully dry, negaverse Lieutenant who was looking around as he sensed a bunch of people. Senshi, a knight, and two dark negaverse signatures. At least he wasn't alone, he didn't like that idea. He'd seen buttwings, and that didn't bode well for him. Not after his last a** kicking, from which he still had stitches from his trip to the hospital. At least those were due out soon, he still couldn't believe he'd gone right through an art gallery window; the only good thing was the destruction of that horrid attempt at art which had been in the window prior to the crash through the window.
Looking around, from his hiding spot, Benitoite was unwilling to poke out of his hiding place and risk being seen. There was no way he was going out to where there was an Eternal, at least one, from the new signature he felt he was sure another had shown up. How lovely...but he wouldn't take back being here or wish that he hadn't changed attire.
Calling for his crystal he whispered in to it, keeping it between his hands and in front of his lips. Asking for whoever was around to come get him. It wasn't safe to poke out of his hiding spot. But he was on scene.
And then another signature, this one he could only compare to that red headed enlightened senshi he'd met not long ago. Was this another like him? He was likely to find out by the end of this...whatever this became.

"Are they coming closer?" asked Europa. With so many different power signals in the area, she had decided to let those more honed in the skill do the long range sensing. For all of her overachieving ways, Europa hadn't spent nearly enough time tuning what she though of as her senshi ESP. She told herself it was because she didn't want to use it as a crutch, but really it was lack of practice mixed with a general sort of inexperienced reluctance to try.
The senshi of the deep cast a sidelong glance at Themis and managed to quirk a grim smile at him. "You're not looking too shabby yourself," she managed around the slight knot in her throat. God... it had been how long since she'd seen him? Half of her wanted to take a flying leap and hug him. The other half adamantly maintained that sort of behavior was completely inappropriate given present circumstances.
"So it's what," she supposed, waving Themis over as she turned back to the group. "A captain and a general against... two eternals, two sailors, and a page?" It seemed evenly matched, maybe leaning in their direction when you considered how much experience Europa and Themis had under their belts. But the Negaverse was ruthless, which could be considered a combative advantage, not to mention that really it depended on the officer.
When you removed any sort of sense of restraint from the equation, things tended to get very dangerous, very quickly.
Another dark-feeling flash on the horizon made Europa cast a wary glance around the circle, lingering on Themis and the still-unnamed page in blue since they seemed to know what they were doing.
And then there was something closer than that.
"Any idea what that was?" she asked.

Tomlin breathed a sigh of relief as the youma crumbled beneath Callisto’s assault. Of course he’d known she could do it all along, but that hadn’t stopped the spike of panic when she’d gone for it. It was over before he had the chance to lift a claw. He skittered to a stop at her feet, just short of the dust pile.
“I knew you would,” he said, arching his back and giving her a proud kitty smile, before turning with her to survey the other powered individuals.
He backed away from the knight, spinning nervous figures of eight between Callisto’s legs. Knights were not in his repertoire, but the energy was positive. The other senshi, however, hummed against his senses, and he rubbed his head against Ganymede, when he came close, fixing his signature in his mind. Europa was a lit beacon, feathers and all proclaiming her experience. He hadn’t heard them calling her name. He knew it anyway.
He listened to them take charge, more relieved than he really wanted to admit that they didn’t need his guidance right now. If there was another monster out there...
Suddenly, Tomlin felt it too, the wave of dark energy suddenly bursting into the area. He jumped onto Callisto’s shoulder for height, his thin body not nearly as much of a weight as a cat his size ought to be, and peered upwards towards the disturbing energy signature. It was building fast.
“There,” he said, his short fur bristling up. “Get ready.”

Painite smiled. She would certainly understand if those that had known her before this new rank didn't call her General. It was a bit awkward, and she was a very friendly, out going lady to her fellow Negaversers.
Except when there was some serious Senshi butt kicking to be done.
And if Alunite showed up, she would be pissed.
At the moment, she was at ease, and she looked at Fluorite with a bright expression on her face. A bunch of senshi gathered and waiting for a fight? Not a big deal at the moment, the could deal with it. And things just kept looking up. She turned her head when she heard a familiar voice and felt that powerful aura she had come to love.
"Lyra! This old rank? I'm surprised you noticed!"
She laughed and hugged the corrupted senshi, nodding her head and posing for a moment. She certainly did not mind basking in the attention, as if they had all the time in the world. What were the senshi going to do? Ambush them? They were dumb, but not that dumb, right? There was a fight in the air, everyone knew that. It was just a matter of who would make the first move.
She felt her crystal rumble again, listening to yet another familiar voice. This one made her heart drop a little bit. One of her Lieutenants was here? And not with them, but down nearer to the senshi mass. That was not a good thing. "Stay out of sight, Lieutenant. I'll come round you up." She frowned for a moment, then looked at the others.
"So is this party going to start, or what? Those senshi are just waiting for us. We're being rather rude." She grinned. She imagined they could get the drop on them, even if their energies were just as obvious as the senshi's were. Senshi, after all, couldn't teleport. They were also weaker, and just waiting to be picked off, one by one.
And if they created a good enough diversion, Beni could get out of there safely. Or join the fight without an eternal heading his way.

There was the smallest bang of air displacing behind Fluorite and Painite. Hematite had his own communication crystal in hand, held loosely out like a cell phone. Once he gained his footing on the rooftop location, he dropped his arm and traded the crystal for his weapon.
"Ladies," Hematite greeted the two Negaversers he saw in front of him. If one general's aura was worrying, two was just downright obvious. As for Lyra, his eyes fell on her for a moment and narrowed. His mouth twitched but he said nothing, instead taking an exaggerated interest in the scene below.

Callisto looked over to the lavender-haired girl, and smile widely. "I'm Callisto," she said, although she didn't quite… trust… the others around her. Tomlin could be trusted, she knew that implicitly, and so could Darryl, even if she looked a little different right now. She offered a hand to the knight, an action of trust she would never have given under normal circumstances, but she felt so good right then. She'd helped to save people! She had done something really, truly good. "Um… hi," she said, looking at the girl with the swimsuit-like outfit and the dark hair and the wings right on her butt. "Do I know you?" She didn't think she did, and when the red-clad senshi told her to stay close she stood right where she was. Her euphoria was quickly fading to a kind of greasy, slick feeling that she didn't like.
Tomlin's jump up on her shoulder was comforting, and she smiled at her cat for just a moment. It felt like she imagined an old weather bone would, whatever was up there; she turned to look upwards, lifting her other hand to run it down the length of Tomlin's spine nervously. She didn't want to admit she was scared, but it showed in her pursed lips. "What's that," she asked, looking to the other senshi in the group, and then over to Darryl. She didn't know a thing about auras, just that something very big and very bad was nearby…
What was she supposed to do? "Tomlin?" The other senshi weren't looking to him, but she was. Tomlin could be trusted. She knew that, and trusted the feeling that said it.

Ganymede looked down at the cat -- Tomlin was it's name? -- as it brushed again him, his mouth quirking into a tiny smile despite himself, though it faded fast. He took another step closer to Callisto, his eyes continuing to dart around the area as he felt another power signature... and another... and another...
This was looking bad...
"Fu-" he began, stopped himself, and finished with something else entirely, "-udge..."
The power he was sensing... it was just wrong... and gross... and... wrong. He didn't want to be here. He never wanted to be here. But he couldn't just leave. Callisto was practically a kid, just a step above being one of those baby senshi, and even though they'd been joined by another Eternal and probably stood a decent chance of what was coming... it just felt bad. Very, horribly bad.
He looked up at the cat's direction, but sensed more than he saw. His breathing came a little erratically, and he swallowed heavily in an attempt to soothe his suddenly dry throat. They needed to do something, but... what? Attack before they could be attacked? That wasn't usually his modus operandi... but waiting didn't seem like a thrilling idea either.
"Stay close to me," he repeated. Whether or not his nerves would let him do anything else, he could at least try and keep Callisto and the cat safe.

Christa, for some reason, thought it was a great idea to get outside and attend a pool party of sorts. She bribed her good bookworm friend with everything she could think of, and before she knew it, chaos and all hell descended upon the gathering quicker than she could blink. Seriously? Couldn't they get out and about for one moment without a youma busting something up and nearly killing people? The gray haired teen's eyes went wide as more and more powered individuals arrived on the scene -- generals, eternals, corrupted senshi, knights -- you name it, and they were there. Christa didn't expect to see much today, but now... another Jovian had appeared. Callisto was her name.
Christa scampered off in the confusion to henshin, idly wondering where Alexandre had gone to. She couldn't stick around and watch as all hell broke loose between the two factions, not without assisting in some way. And so, she ran through the pool area and found a place to hide and henshin, rounding the corner as fast as she could to join the people on her side - the Jovians, the knight and now another cat. But as soon as she thought things would be in their favor, more and more Negaverse agents seemed to descend from the pits of hell itself. Cursing under her breath, Kallichore stood by Europa and tried to count the numbers pouring in.
Of course, now the Nega with the spear had gone to general rank. Lovely. "This ought to be... interesting."

"What the ******** WAS THAT."
Yeah. Pretty much the creepiest thing she'd ever felt. It felt like a senshi but... wrong.
Completely and utterly wrong.
She did take Callisto's offered hand, but perhaps as much to comfort herself than her. ********, she really hoped Erika made it out.
Oh, the irony.
"Im Hesperis."
Themis knew all too well what that was. "Corrupted senshi." Pale blue eyes went narrow. It felt too strong to be his usual customer, through, unless the negaverse liked to promote their senshis for their failure.
He was starting not to like this, but he still couldn't pinpoint them directly. This was bad news.
"...That felt like another general." He didn't even register the lieutenant, focused on the more powerful auras he was.
For Fluorite, through, the strong auras surrounding her were good news.
She knew they weren't going to let her down.
She finally rose from her crouching position and sent her communicator to subspace. She could swear she knew that lieutenant's voice... But Painite was on it.
"On your orders, Generals."
She'd been a mean to a purpose, but now that there were higher ranks... Well, they would know better than her.

Hearing that voice, one he related to a person he was close to, calmed his jangled nerves. The auras he was picking up, down here on the ground with him, were raising the hairs on the back of his neck. No one had wanted him about feeling this nervous, there was a knot in his stomach. This wasn't something he liked, but he latched on to that calming voice.
"Of course, I'm not about to go out there." She knew he still had stitches in his side from going through that window. He'd had her take him for them after all. "I'm behind the changing building. I was here when things started." And he'd had no clue t would turn in to this...mess. He wasn't going to run, when the fighting broke out, he'd stay and improve himself and learn. He just hoped Painite would accept that.
At least he sensed another from their side, that was a good thing, though being as close to the senshi as he was he still felt his nerves fray. An unconscious twitching in his fingers had taken hold and didn't seem likely to stop just yet. He was trying to fight it, even holding his hands still so they didn't move. Reminding himself that there were senshi here he could handle, that he could fight.
Moving, to try and calm his nerves, he walked on the balls of his feet. Pacing back and forth behind the concrete building. The ground thankfully was not anything hard which his heels would click on. But he was bouncing on the balls of his feet as he paced. How bad was it out there, really? What senshi, what could they do, what ranks, and how many? He almost wanted to know, even if it would upset him in one respect it would help his nerves. He knew his nerves was partially due to the unknown out there.

"How could one not notice." She grinned once more at Painite, before taking a step away.
Looking around she had to admit, her eyes were growing wide. The one small group was QUICKLY growing a lot larger. More were arriving, it was good to see that the negaverse was here. Though with the arrival of the new.... general, deff general, Lyras eyes grew wide and...worried. He completely ignored her?
Something on the back of her mind was tingling, something she SHOULD remember. This was the same one whom insulted herself, and Alunite, that one night at the door. He was different looking....stronger. But it was him. Two occurrences of ignoring senshi, or even insulting them. He seemed to have a huge hate for senshi, something that the red head had to admit.... made her curious as to why. Maybe she would ask.... and then he glared.
...Maybe not.
Looking back around, she took a few paces forward... and stood near Fluorite this time. Not wanting to be close to Hematite.... for now. She would give him a chance, she always gave people chances, but for now she would make sure to keep away from him.
She stayed silent now, waiting for orders as well. Hell, if even a lieutenant asked her to jump... she would need to reply with 'how high?' Its what corrupted senshi meant, in its own way it meant "disposable" and "only there for magic."

"You always know how to tell me exactly what I don't want to hear," Europa quipped grimly to Themis. Corrupted senshi sounded like a totally appropriate guess for the wrong signature, but everything had the habit of feeling wrong to Europa and it was difficult to pick things out. Best to leave it to more experienced espers.
"We're really outnumbered, aren't we?" she asked, taking a step closer to Ganymede and Callisto. She gave Kallichore a gentle tug, pulling her to stand with the other Jovians and feeling reassured by her presence. Europa wanted to protect her teammates and her prospective teammate (Europa thought of all unallied Jovians as prospective teammates, to be honest). Themis she had no doubt could fend for himself. He was a big boy and he'd grown wonderfully into the role of senshi in the past year. Hesperis... well, she didn't know Hesperis, but the girl seemed far more competent than Babylon and that was enough to make Europa feel confident in her survival instincts.
It was funny how quickly the tables had turned. Or it would be funny, if it weren't so gut-splittingly terrifying.
"We're sitting ducks," she whispered. One general she could take. But a whole gang of them, and a corrupted senshi? Fat chance.
