SCORE!Minis Username: MarosaMarosa glanced at the strange man among the endless trash, giving him a strange look. Just what was he on about, valuables? Ahhhh, that badge, that was valuable. Perhaps that's what he meant. Unless he meant all of it, then that... was just strange. "I hope ye dun mind..." Marosa asked and stated at the same time, walking over to the skeeball machine and picking up some balls, biting his lower lip and wiggling about as he threw the balls up the ramp, attempting to score as best he could. He stood back and admired his score of 470, mildly surprised that he'd gotten so high. He glanced back and smiled as the Scrag handed him an eyeball (straaaaaange), and also gave him a thumbs up! Marosa felt pretty good, bowing slightly and saying a soft, "Thank ye," in return.

Something had attracted the colorful ghoul over to what she had to assume was a gym, but based on appearances.. wasn't entirely sure. Perhaps the smell, the array of gathered about odds and ends. Either way she here now, and she was eager to see just what sort of games have survived the attack. Eagerly she stepped up to the faded old skee-ball game with feathered tail flicking around her ankles. Slitted eyes lighting up as she dropped a colorful seed in the slot to set things off. When the balls dropped into the shoot she grabbed herself a pair of them, and lining up, heaved them up the lane towards the holes at the end. As the score climbed higher and higher the ghoul's grin grew. By the end of it she'd managed to wrangle herself a rather decent number, and the scrags handed over a prize with huff.

Sin had done some odd things, but paying a scrag to roll balls was probably near the top of the list. Still she was a competitive spirit and she grinned as she grabbed ball after ball and rolled them down the lane
Of course she should have been more focused on actual aim, because when she was done she had a measly score of 250. Well jack damn.

Christof liked digging. It was one of those things that had always brought him peace of mind- even when he was feeling down, stressed, overworked, and frustrated as hell that a giant fish had destroyed all of his hard work, the simple sensation of the steady progress of digging a hole brought him deep, instinctual gratification.
And so when the horrible smelling vagabond had shouted about needing help, he was only happy to oblige. He grabbed the appropriate tools and happily, and quietly, set to work.

Kazuka listened intently to what the troll had to say. Mining rock candy? He hadn't know that rock candy could be mined so his curiosity reared up and there was no way he would be able to tel the troll no. He took the gear that he needed with a nod of thanks then walked into the mine. He attached the lamp to his belt carefully so the light would shine for him with out him having to hold it for very long. He finally chose a spot at random and experimentally used the pick axe. It wasn't very effective in finding anything but the reaper did start to get the hang of using the tool.

After his first spot turned up out to be a bust, Kazuka moved farther into the mine. He checked the walls from time to time to see if there was any hint of what he was looking for. Again he eventually just picked a spot at random and started to use the pick axe the best he could. He worked into the wall for a while before something caught his eyes that made something stand out. With a small pleased smile he hammered into the spot and to his reserved delight, he had found some rock candy which he quickly put in the bag.

Having found some of the candy in this spot a mere few minutes ago, Kazuka figured he might find more. Usually you could find more of a certain type of thing once you found some in a certain spot, at least that's what he had read once about mining. He used the pick axe in the area for a while longer until it was very apparent that he would find nothing else. He let out a small sigh before making sure he had everything and moving farther in.

Kazuka had continued his walk for a short while, once again checking the walls for hints or clues. To his surprise this time his looking paid off as there was a small bit of candy showing on a nearby wall he was coming up to. He walked over calmly, in no big hurry, before he got to work at getting the candy from the wall. It took only a short time since it was a smaller amount then the first batch he had found and he put it into his pack with the other.

Since the reaper had been tired from the walk and work, not used to so much exercise, he had stayed in the same area as his last find. From experience so far Kazuka knew he wouldn't find anything but he had been hoping it would be different this time. After a while it was once again clear he would find no more candy in this area but instead of moving on, he chose to sit down and rest for a while. By the time he felt like moving he figured he would have the strength to try again.

Ulmuka was feeling rather down about being pelted with fish. His clothing was stinking and the mini-shower he'd recieved in the greenhouse had been BEFORE the fish abuse. Maybe he should go back to the greenhouse?
His ponderings were pointless when he found the junkyard gym. It was a perfect place for a smelly strix to hide his stench! He looked around carefully and after taking the cues picked up a pickaxe, lamp and sack. This seemed to be one of those activities where diligent, hard work would pay off. He couldn't claim to be the hardest of workers when it came to physical labor... but he did like the sound of "rock candy".
He mosied into the mining area and sat down on a large rock. With enthusiasm for a new activity he bagan to tap diligently on the stones. Unfortunately all he seemed to pull out was tin cans and other forms of refuse.

Ulmuka wasn't the only one who smelled of fish. At least this time, though, Vero was of similar accord with the gym leader, rather than frightened of or ashamed to continue visiting. Mining was a grunt's work, and a grunt Vero was!
Still its hand were a little unwieldy with the shovel, and every tink made the hairs on its body quiver. the fact that they continued to do so told Vero that someone else was here.
It had a feeling who when Astro got that lovestruck look in his eye. Even if Aurora wasn't about, her scent was.
"The chemicals in your brain are reacting poorly to FEAR," Vero told him. "Please do not run away this time."

Muka turned his head to peer around a mountain of trash when he heard the familiar tone of Vero's voice.
"Vero!" The strix hopped straight up from his seat, his stench momentarily forgotten, and with a ruffle of his wings planted himself on top of an upside down crate near the spirit. "And hello Astro! Aurora was napping somewhere..." He glanced around. "I'm sure if she knew you were here.. but you know she needs her beauty sleep." he cackled with laughter and tinked his tool once more to look for candy.
Something tumbled out of the pile and onto his white pointed shoes. "Ah ha!" He'd found 1 piece!

"Beauty sleep? Sleep does not make one look beautiful," Vero corrected, its already large eyes seemingly larger in the twilit cave of trash as it peered up at the strix. "Please explain."
Jack, but his cackles seemed to be magnified within the tunnel! The spirit's antennae quivered.
"There is candy up there? Hummm. Please help us up, we would like to take a few as well." It managed to harvest a couple of pieces before attempting to climb up to the crater.
Astro, in the meanwhile, decided he would go sniff out the lady herself. Sleeping in this filth? Not becoming of his future-wifey!

"That's not what the ghouls think." Muka seemed to realize, with his own sensitive hearing, that the cave seemed to make his laughter reverberate. He tried to restrain it so now it came out as ecstatic hisses from between his sharp teeth.
When requested he offered a hand to help Vero reach the crater he'd dug some candy out of. Did they get it all? Apparently so.
"How has your time at this festival been?" Vero had run into him at many of the various booths and the little spirit interested him greatly.

"Who honestly knows what ghouls think?" Vero returned with a sigh as it examined the crater for more candy, sounding for the first time like a normal boil (It was a boil right? No boobs or anything). But theeeen it was back its usual self. "We do not understand the way our queen thinks and decrees sometimes either. What we do know is that to defy a ghoul is very risky."
Just take Desu-chan for example. Oh Jack, Desu-chan.
"Other than our mercurial relationship with Lady Luck and the thrashing fearados, we have fared well thus far. Currently we are in possession of three badges. Yourself?"
