"Here, then." Well that was all Toby needed to pass over one particularly large, sweet looking yellow-gold fruit to Tomoko's hand, only pausing briefly to peel off the ink sticker and tack it back on her parcel's exterior. Good food was made for sharing in her eyes, after all, and her parents seemed determined to send an excess. She didn't seem especially bothered by Tiny's momentary plight, either, since the dear, lovely Miss Kitsune had promptly rescued him to plop on her shoulder (which he took full advantage of to rub against her ear fuzz).
"These are probably from the trees we have out back at home..." That part, though? Was probably mumbled more to herself when Toby took a second apple and sniffed at it testingly. She didn't have a particularly acute sense of smell, granted, but there was just something too familiar about the aroma. Taking a prompt bite of it, she was even more sure.
"I do eat fish," she added, after another crunchy (but proper) mouthful was swallowed. Good manners meant no talking with a full mouth. "Not often, but I enjoy it." ... Maybe just not as much as good bloody red meat, but she wasn't overly picky about her protein. Now, to dig down and see what else she'd gotten...
Aside from the dozen apples, where were a few more round (and red, though she couldn't see that, per se) fruits that she immediately recognized as pomegranates, which she pulled out and set aside on the desk, and below that... "Oh, they sent more ink." Now THAT she didn't even have to touch to know what it was; the bottle glowed like a lantern in her 'sight'. There were also a couple of extra journals, a new book (on unicorns, of all things), and a bag of little... bone shaped things?
Oh, wait, waaaaait a second.
"Iris." The scareon immediately perked up in his desk-chair perch, ears lifting until they were practically vertical as he leaned over to snag a delicious, home-made (... probably jerky riddled) pet biscuit. Tiny, being so small by comparison, was broken off a daintier corner to gobble down (still on his shoulder perch), and then... "Is it alright for them to have a treat, too?" she asked Tomoko politely, figuring it the proper thing to do before she spoiled the squealing, barking fox lot.

Desades hadn't even waited for Toby to ask if it was alright for him to partake, barking and bouncing around the Falsicorn's legs and propping himself up against the leg of the young gentle'man' in question in a pleading manner. Tomoko turned the apple she'd been given over in her hands a couple of times.
"If you give one to Desades, make him sit for it first." she requested. "He's the one trying to steal it from you right now. Mononoke won't take anything from anybody besides myself, so if you want him to have one, I'll have to give it to him. But other than that, I think it's fine for them to have." Tomoko answered, nodding before taking a bite out of the apple she'd been given. It was...sweet. Not too sweet, but naturally so. In the pleasant way. The kitsune had no complaints, even with her dainty little adoring shoulder perch seeming content where they were.
Tomoko scratched Tiny behind an ear.
"You're just a sweet little thing, aren't you?" she cooed, seeming to be right at home in the slight chaos of the bakekitsunes.
Desades seemed to have realized what it was Tomoko had been asking for and sat down, staring up at Toby expectantly.
Drop it, drop it, drop it, drop it, drop it.

Though she spoke nothing of it, Toby was grateful for the specification of just which hazy bouncing creature happened to be Desades, because it was difficult enough for her to 'see' those little bakekitsunes in the first place, let alone gauge which nearly-identical shape was whom already. Maybe with time, she'd be able to separate the pack, but... no, for now, this was quite alright.
"Thank you, Desades," she commented pleasantly as-- sure enough-- he sat, at last bestowing upon him the magical crunchy reward. Three more biscuits were promptly removed in quick succession to dole out among the remaining willing duo while he plowed through that, with the last to Tomoko for dealing with her more 'picky' pet, and rounding off the Sandy Claws routine with a last extra bit for Iris. There! Now everyone would be included and happy. That was a wonderful thing!
"He's been very affectionate," the girl went on to comment, with another bite of her apple down the hatch as she reached over to give Tiny an affectionate ear scratch, too. He chirped and mewled and ate it all up with the same fervor as he'd devoured his treat, so excited that he ultimately fell right off Tomoko's shoulder and back into her lap, belly up, paws splayed in an absolutely precious pose. "Oh-- and his name is Tiny," she added, mentally kicking herself that the thought had only just occurred. "At least, that's what I've been calling him. He's... new, since I moved in."
And that was actually saying something, given how she'd just arrived that week. Clearly she and Iris had shared a fairly lengthy partnership prior to Amityville (which was blatantly obvious with just a few seconds of observation), but... the little fishkitten? Not... so much.
Where on earth had he come from, anyway? Was it common for animals to just spontaneously appear in dormitories without warning-- or had it been something else?

Desades ran off to the other side of Toby's room with the treat bounty before dropping it...then looking at Tomoko as though confused if it had somehow run away with a stolen treat and he shouldn't have had it. However, when Tomoko didn't scold him or get up to try and take it from him, he dove right back in and started chowing down on it. Sune was a bit more delicate about the treat she was offered, sniffing it for a moment before gently taking it and settling onto the floor with it. Kawadesu grabbed the treat violently and ran to hide with it as much as he could. Tomoko seemed to shake her head at him.
The kitsune herself turned to offer Mononoke a treat. He looked at it, then at Toby, then at Tomoko..... he almost seemed aware enough of what was going on before he took it from the kitsune and settled in next to Sune who seemed utterly delighted to have his company.
Tomoko, on the other hand, seemed content with her apple.
"Well, that's about where Kawadesu.." she pointed in the direction her little pink companion had run off in, fully aware that Toby hadn't been properly introduced to the entire trope, thus pointing at them for that reason, "came from." she noted with a nod. "Was just chilling in my room one day when I came back." she nodded, before tilting her head to rub her cheek against Tiny, her own tails flicking a bit.
"Desades was new to me when I came to school as well."
