Quite unlike dirt and hounds, biscuits caught Astro's attention. He turned and grinned at the bag a rather large student was holding, and he began to trot over as happily as if he already knew the guy.
Vero, however, already did. somewhat. "Recognizable. You were the one in the crypt with us and the jewels," it said, blinking. "Did this place draw you too? We think this is a gym, but we are not sure what to do if so."

exclaim The Blue Hazmutt had been watching the intruders quietly his tail started to swish to and fro as he saw...biscuits! He couldn't smell them through his mask of course, but he knew, he knew what they were. He trotted over to the two boils and sat down staring up at him as his tail went wild.

Hell, if all Herryk had to do was to show up to fights a-totin' biscuits, he was in for an easy ride. The bag was already open (thanks, Snorri) and Herryk reached in a big hand to toss one at the wisp's pet. "Yes, this is a gym," Herryk said with gusto, gleefully waiting for the pet to demolish the biscuit. He'd tried them one time and they weren't very tasty at all, so Herryk did not understand why the pets seemed to enjoy them so much. "I am looking for the one they call Sleuth and her Hound so that I can feed him these biscuits." Yes, victory would be his. Biscuits = badges, that much was completely obvious to the completely oblivious Draugr.

When Herryk was approached by the blue hazmutt, he giddily reached into his trusty bag-o-biscuits and withdrew another one. This one was skull shaped and Herryk knew from experience that it tasted awful. Really awful. "Hello little blue dog," Herryk singsonged, flipping the biscuit towards the minipet. "Do you want a dog-spookie?" Of course it did! Right? biggrin

"You feed them and they give you a badge?" Vero echoed curiously. It seemed rather simple; a bit too simple, but simplicity would be welcomed after the Fearados.
And by Jack, the muscled boil's plan seemed to be working! An unknown blue hazmutt was attracted by the scent. Taking a biscuit from the opened bag, the little spirit offered it to the minipet as well. "The experiment begins."

After witnessing the destruction of the previous booths up close and personal, and might he just say very up close, Damien was glad to see the shambling area back up with new structures.
As for regal, he scruffle was feeling left out of all the fun, considering he rather liked hunting and swimming around with the aquatic mini's. regal needed the walk to, so why not kill two corrvidius's with one stone?
The structures that greeted him were strange, with no cohesions in style from one to another, but they all gave off a feeling that could only be described as "danger, come to fight and die.". it must have been built out of the remnant pieces of the haunted house.
Regal on the other hand showed no concern for the buildings as he dragged the both of them in, albeit to the hellhound's dismay. "Ack fine fine, lets go in!" he grumbled back at the mini's keening and tugging of the leash.
It was just as impressive on the inside with its high ceilings and ornate displays, for a cave. "uh Hello?" Demi called out meekly to the depths of the place, his echo coming back to greet him kindly.
"Oooh this has bad idea written all over it."

Herryk shrugged. "I don't know. Herryk brought these dog-spookies with him to feed to the Sleuth's hound." He frowned slightly, setting the biscuits on the floor between himself and Vero.
"Herryk's woehound Snorri loves these spookies so Herryk thought that the Hound would like them as well, and then Herryk could have a badge or a seed or another good prize."
After all, Herryk was all about WINNING. All day, every day.

True enough; bribery wasn't above some people. Still, Vero thought a biscuit was hardly adequate pay for something as important as a badge. "Perhaps if you throw out a few more, we will attract all of them out, including the Sleuth?"
At that point its antennae twitched towards the sound of an echo, another voice he could put a face and name to. "Hummm. We have more challengers. Ahead of you!" the little spirit called back to Damien. "Follow the scent of dog-spookies."

exclaim The biscuits were on the floor! Wags leaped on them and grabbed the bag running around excitedly... Which attracted Sniffs attention.
The ink hound growled as the three boils and slowly started to back them into a corner...
Which attracted Hound...and Sleuth
"HEY!" Sleuth jogged over and eyed the three boils. "How did you guys find me?"

The Sleuth's ink hound was a prime example of why Vero didn't understand the fascination with fur-creatures. It had seen quite a few in the Haunted Mansion and wondered if humans were really so frail that they were afraid of dogs, as opposed to the more eldritch abominations it had heard about.
Of course, right now Vero was wary of a dog, so maybe it could somewhat empathize. It made sure to keep some distance (however slight) between itself and the growling minipet, even going so far as to edge a little behind the larger ghost.
"By accident, really," Vero answered, Astro growling softly back at the ink hound. "But our experiment is a success: biscuits do have powers."

Damien's ears perked up at the sound of an echo of another voice, of one that could only belong to the boil he met in the haunted house, Vero. "oh hey! gimme a second, i'll come find you!" he hollered back in the depths of the cave. He was getting ready to give the air a good sniff.
Except Regal beat him to it and took off at a bad dash towards where ever the treats came from. With the leash still in Demi's hand. "Whoa, whoa, WHOA!"was all he could get out, before the slack of the line look him, his arm and the rest of his body along for the ride, or drag as it were.
Out of everything he expected to run into, its wasn't this brute of a boil with the cookies in hand. Regal stopped on a dime in front of Herryk, waiting for his turn at one, but demi went sailing into him like a fur covered missile.
"AW JACK!" he had no chance once he made contact with the much more solid boil. Even though Damien was still a little bit beat up, trampled or what you want to call it, (he just says Ow.) Sleuth's wary question met his ears. "uh, my Scruffle led me in here." was his lame responce, even as Regal woofed at him, as if to say "Damn straight!"

(If we're not allowed to jump in since Sleuth has appeared, please disregard this post. ^^;; ))
Maybe it wasn't the best idea to have started wandering around after the fearados rampage. Kallos had found himself trailing around, noticing that the sea-horse race had been destroyed too, it seemed. What had happened to the seahorses? Had they fallen into the lake too?
Whatever the case, in Kallos' wanderings, the slight calligraphy-pen haunt had found himself in a significantly less populated area. In fact, it seemed there was only four figures around ahead of him. (One of which had just been pulled by a scruffle into the other boil, with the third behind those two. They apparently also had a bag of doggie-biscuits with them.) It was then that he noticed one of them was a ToTer, the Sleuth he'd seen around. She seemed to be asking the three boils who were inside how they'd found her. Not wanting to really attract the detective's attention, Kallos reminded near the entrance.
He then noticed the dogs that Sleuth had around her. One was a inkling (which was a creature Kallos figured he had more in common with, considering they both involved ink), while one was her trusty Hound and the last being a Hazmutt. Kallos wasn't sure exactly how the Hounds would react to him, and he wasn't exactly sure if he wanted to find out.
After all, Kallos figured if he wasn't even strong enough to smash open a clock, he definitely wouldn't be strong enough to fight a few dogs.
While looking around to see if there was any potential escape routes, however, Kallos noticed what seemed to be a tank of some kind. Was it? Could it be? Yes! The seahorses were safe and sound! That cheered Kallos up quite a bit. Had he not been so timid, Kallos probably would have gone to ask Sleuth what she was going to do with her safe seahorses. But as he was in fact very timid, he settled for looking at the seahorses from his location near the entrance.

exclaim "Accident? Really? Well...I suppose now that you're here..." She glanced at Wags who was still running in excited circles, and Sniffs who was still growling.
"Wags, Sniffs heel!" She waited until the two had fallen back in line with Hound.
"Now then where was I..oh yes now that you're here I suppose you want to train a bit? Well I don't see any harm in that, you can use the equipment for a bit, just be careful...I'll be watching"

Training? Well . . . Vero supposed that was a good plan. Whatever it took to make sure those dogs didn't snap at it.
Though for some strange reason, rather than doing the treadmill (which was far easier, even for a ghost), Vero turned and headed to the weights section. Even days from now, the little spirit wouldn't know why. Probably the dogs' fault.
Astro, its Asteroid Belt, accompanied and gave a rousing bark. Two rousing barks. Then a sort of confused whimper.
Why was his master looking tuckered out after attempting to lift one of the five pound weights?
"We did not think . . . think this through . . ." Vero's antennae bent back in chagrin.

Marosa glanced up as he saw Sleuth appear, walking over to her in a curious manner. He glanced to the two other boils, instantly recognizing one and smiling slightly. If anyone was able to handle the training, it was that big boil that had runes around his neck.
"Aye... is this... fer everyone t' try?"
