╫Background Information╫
She doesn't know what happened before. All she remembers is waking up in a strange land with no friends or family. It was a rough time. But the woman finally made a little home for herself in a little village. These people didn't seem to mind that she was a were-beast. They had lots of were-beasts. Unfortunately, they did mind when they found out she could not transform during the night, but rather during the day.
The people considered her to be a demon. They blamed her for the loss of their crops. Something that had started four years prior to her appearing in their land. They said it was her fault because she was bending the rules. And because of that, they wanted to burn her at the stake.
She tried seeking refuge, but was caught, pulled away from the man she had been staying with, and tied to the stake. Cherry should have died that day. But she didn't. Something happened as the woman howled on that cold night. A sun appeared before her head, causing the people to bow down before her. They immediately put out the fire and considered Amaterasu to be as a God. They begged forgiveness from her, and she could do nothing but accept it. All the woman wanted was peace.
It was then that Amaterasu founded the Worrens: Reverse lycans that could transform during the day rather than at night. However, all was not peaceful. Were-beasts found out what Amaterasu could do. They too called her a witch, and they decided this was a perfect time to try and get rid of the woman and Jiaum Mountain.
However, when they went to attack, they found that she had created some more of her own kind. The battle that ensued would have been won, if not for Amaterasu summoning up a sun and sending the were-beasts back into the darkness. Because she saved the people of Jiaum, the village that had just earlier called her a witch themselves, she was put on the throne.

╫Background Information╫
Beginnings
Quote:
Micrea and his sister Athena, also known as Cherry, grew up in a small town. Their mother was a cook at a local resturant, and their father was a hunter who brought home all sorts of delicious meats for the restaurants specials. Neither one of them had a particularly horrible life when they were young. They did what most kids do and played to their hearts content.
Of course we can't expect the two to just say that their lives were perfect. No infact, nothing is ever perfect now is it? The strong often have horrible back stories which drive them to their decision to be the best. Cherry's life is no different.
At the age of ten her mother became deathly ill. Due to the family having to close down their restuarant, their lives soon became absolute hell. All their money went towards medicine for their mother. All the while Cherry caught the eye of a wealthy suitor.
Trying to find a way out of their horrible situation, their father contemplated on marrying off his daughter. Such a young age for marriage might seem absurd, but the two would merely be engaged until she was truely old enough (around 16). It was to be written out on paper and signed by the parents of both parties, as well as the Cherry and her suitor.
Though, like most girls forced into a situation they dislike, Cherry didn't want to do it. Unfortunately for her, the guilt trip her father laid on her forced her to scribble her name in ink across the parchment.
Years later, the day of the wedding came. Cherry had grown slightly fonder of the man she was supposed to marry, but she was still not entirely sure. Her brother Mircea, knew the pain his sister was in, and set it upon himself to help her out. Their mother was also furious, and when she heard the news for the first time in years, she commited suicide so her daughter would have no reason to feel forced into the situation.
However, the news was kept away from Cherry so as not to "Ruin her day". Mircea snuck into the room she was being kept in, and cleverly disappeared with his little sister, freeing her from her bonds. He informed her afterwards of her mother's demise.
The two of them left their small town, and journeyed to Nocturne where they have been living together. Mircea has been seeing a young woman in town which left Cherry to her own devices, which included reading and trying to gain as much knowledge as she possibly can. She has worked hard to better her skills as an arcanist and hopes to be of some use to her fraction.
However even though the story seems to have come to an end, there is still the little contract which seems to be in effect. Due to the breach in contract, there are those out there who have been hired by the suitor to get rid of Cherry and Mircea for what happened on the wedding day.
The following events happened three years ago. A band of men came looking for the two. Due to Cherry simply being a Trainee, she has not been able to attain a true werewolf form. The same goes for her brother Mircea. The men who attacked were assassins from different bloodlines. From Feral to Vampire. Each one used their own hated of the Lycan species as a way of justifying their contract, which contained a great sum of wealth for the men who brought Cherry's head back to her suitor.
Despite this, the two desperately tried to fight back against the band of men that suddenly broke into their house. Protecting his little sister, Mircea was horribly injured, and it seemed the end would soon come for Cherry was well. Though just when all hope seemed lost, the girl was saved by a man covered in black garb. Though he faught and killed all the assassins valiantly, she never did see his face. He merely told her to call a doctor for her brother before he leapt away. The parting words seemed to be the end, but through the wind she could hear him say that he would deal with her suitor personally.
Mircea was in bad shape. His body was broken and horribly misshapen from what those men did to him. He has been in the hospital for some time now, leaving Cherry to her own life. She doesn't let it get her down, and visits her brother almost every day. Cherry now has a purpose in life, and that is to meet the mysterious stranger once more and show him that she is now capable of taking care of herself. Perhaps even entering the same line of work as he and helping those less fortunate and weaker than she.
Well, that was the old Cherry. While taking the Adept exams, Cherry had to leave for an extended amout of time due to Mircea's illness getting worse. Unfortunately he passed away. With the only member of her family gone, Cherry was pushed towards depression. On top of that, she realized only then the futile effort she had put towards getting Fenrir's attention. With so many women after a single man, there was no way Cherry would be able to win.
Unfortunately this depression began consuming her. She couldn't get Fenrir out of her mind and continued spiralling down further and further. She still did what he asked obidiently, but said nothing other than that. However, she has left Nocturne.
The years have passed and Cherry seems to be much like a recluse now. The woman seems to only come out when called upon and after doing what she has been told to, disappears back into the darkness. People seem to no longer remember the happy, vibrant, and bouncy woman that was Cherry. Now all they see is a dark, beaten down dog.
Everything in Aramil had gone great in the past two years. She was content enough and loved her home in Aramil. Though, things were better before a certain Trainee showed up. Jasper..The name is enough to send Cherry snarling and snapping at anyone who mentions it.
After training the incubus, Cherry went out to get drunk. She was successful in the attempt but followed by the incubus paladin Jasper. After getting hammered, he offered to take her someplace else. Being inebriated, she followed behind him. The place he took her to was a hotel, and the reason was so he could try and get in her panties. He managed to get her shirt open before she was saved by a flash of light, which transported her to a large forboding tower.
Inside the tower, Cherry was met with tests of endurance and agility. She rushed to make her way to the top, remembering what Jasper tried to do and dead set on killing him for that. Of course, when she reached the top she was greeted by a Sin named Lust.
Figuring she was headed to hell anyway, the female signed a contract in blood and accepted Lust into her body. In another flash of light, the woman woke up in the same hotel room she had been in before she was spirited away. Cherry then headed out to go find Jasper and teach him a lesson he so sorely deserved.
Sniffing his trail, she found that he had headed off to Nocturne. While waiting for the train there, she ran into the man she had been fearing the most for two years...Fenrir...
The conversation they had was awkward, and being tired it was hard to grasp everything he was saying. She did figure out that Fenrir was just heading off to Aramil to go find her. Her hiding spot had been given to the King by Xiomar himself. feeling betrayed, yet not ready to betray her new Nation, Cherry begged that Fenrir cease his actions before passing out. All the while learning that the lycan had feelings for her the whole time.
After waking up, Cherry found herself in Fenrir's home. While she looked around, Fenrir took a shower. Only to come out nude which activated her sin. Learning of this, Fenrir was disappointed in her actions, and after another brief conversation, Cherry left for home.
When she returned home, she learned that Xiomar was gone, and met with Shruikan, the Captain of Aramil. He gave her a mission to protect him while he was meditating. OF course, Fenrir in the meantime had found Jasper, and was delivering the Incubus to her. Shruikan, sensing Fenrir's presence, grabbed Cherry and used the woman was leverage against the Lycan. Another betray and stab in the back had just happened for Cherry.
Though she was released, the two men began fighting, and she was intent on stopping it by scolding the two. Of course, that was when Jasper woke up. She couldn't kill him. Cherry couldn't see herself killing anyone. So instead she gave him a burn mark via a fireball so he would have something to remind him of what he did. She hoped that it would deter him from using his powers on unwilling females. Of course he turned things around, and called her a traitor.
This was the last straw for the woman. She had wanted to defend Aramil, only to be used as leverage by the Captian there, and called a traitor by an incubus that tried to have his way with her. So she finally gave up. The woman had hoped to see Xiomar again, but she is sure that once she does, he will probably be calling her a traitor as well.
Cherry was a rogue. She swore no alliance to any nation, but will not lie if you ask her if she has feelings for Fenrir. She is going to be a frequent quest of Nocturne, but will not claim it as her nation, figuring that if she does, those in Aramil will relentlessly persue her. For now, all she wants to do is train and try to live happily.
After being a rogue for a little while, Cherry returned to Aramil to pick up a few things. She ended up joining Aramil once more to become an Adept. She was paired up with Jasper and sent out to defeat some nasty xenomorphs. Cherry defeated her with a little difficulty, and when she saw that Jasper's xenomorph had removed his hand, she destroyed him as well. After the battle, Cherry turned into Lust and flew Jasper from the forest.
Once landing in Dalthan, she was approached by Velox, an old comrade from Nocturne. He told her that Fenrir wished to give them a test for their full transformation. Cherry headed after him quickly, eager to take her test. Once there, she noticed hold cold Fenrir seemed to be acting towards her.
The test was difficult, and it took Cherry a long time to reach the top. By the time she did, she had suffered burns to her hands and legs, a torn open shoulder, scratches on her back, and various bruises. Fenrir still seemed cold, and asked Cherry why she hated the moon. When she told him, he seemed to get even more upset. Fenrir called her weak and told her she was undeserving of the full transformation. The woman felt crushed by the man she called her lover. Him calling her weak was a crucial blow to her pride. She tried explaining how she wasn't, but he ended the conversation by saying he'd take her to get healed up. Being stubborn, she refused his help and told him she was going back to Aramil.
Fenrir grabbed Cherry and teleported her home. At which time he left, only saying I'm sorry before disappearing. Cherry feels crushed, and doesn't believe that Fenrir cares about her anymore. At the same time, Lust is finally seeing an opportunity to manipulate Cherry and will attempt to turn her into the host she wants her to be.
After returning home to Aramil, Shruikan was named King. As King, one of his first acts was to help Cherry out. He told her that she could attain a lycan transformation, but it would be a reverse transformation. The woman would only be able to transform in the day, not during the night. Destined to prove Fenrir wrong, Cherry hurried out to attain this transformation. Heading up the Turnback's Night phase was easy. Sunphase was another story. The place was filled with monsters looking to tear her apart, and by the time she reached the top, the woman only had half her energy left.
As Cherry headed towards the top she noticed a mirror. What came from it was Cherry's dark side. The woman called her weak and blamed all the events upon her. Some acts she was innocent of, others, such as Mircea's death, were events she still carried guilt for.
They began battling, and almost immediately Cherry knew there was no way she would be able to beat herself. So for the first time she called upon Lust to help her out. The woman came out in her true form. Even still it was a very tough battle. Dark Athena wasn't a mage for no reason, and she used her skills like an expert. After a long battle, the woman finally slipped up, and Lust was able to draw her into the body she shared with her host, joining the two into one being.
After returning home, Cherry smelt charred meat, and found Fenrir standing over the body of her King, Shruikan, whom he had killed. It was heartbreaking to see Shruikan lying there, but she was not all that surprised. Fenrir appologized to her, and began destroying her paradise before her eyes.
Dealing with Dark Athena gave Cherry some time to think. One of the conclusions she came up with was that, she and Fenrir being a couple was hazardous to the both of them. If Shruikan had used Cherry against him, then who was to say others would not do the same? Ontop of that, Fenrir wished to think of himself as her teacher before her lover. The woman held back her emotions, stated how deeply she cared about him, and told Fenrir to leave and never return. The womans heart broke into a thousand pieces, but she could not selfishly keep him and endanger him. Nor had she been able to see him smile often, so she felt that she wasn't making him as happy as she thought she was.
Even with her Paradise gone, and her love lost, Cherry has decided to go on, to become a teacher and make a home for the rogues. Only time will tell what drama enters into her life next.
Reconciliation, A Child, and the Lovelorn Fool
Love and drama doesn't seem to stay away from Cherry for long. She ended up reconciling her love with Fenrir. She carried Lust with her still and while he tried to find a host for Cherry's sin, she found one on her own. Fenrir's ex-captain of the guard, and host of Envy.
It was clear that this woman, Marishka, had feelings for Fenrir herself. Since she couldn't have him, she felt as if she was worth nothing. Feeling sorry for the woman, Cherry allowed Lust to come out and have her way with the woman. And she immediately went to Fenrir afterwards and told him what had happened. Surprisingly enough, he wasn't mad.
As she left again, Fenrir was attacked by Cherry's suitor, Reaver. Reaver and Fenrir had once served together, and Reaver, out for Cherry's blood, decided to use Fenrir against the woman, and get rid of both lycans. However, she had just told Fenrir that she was pregnant, and hurried to his location to free him.
The battle was terrible, and she had to kill her brother Mircea. This act has left an emotional scar on the woman. Though she told Fenrir that she was pregnant, he didn't seem to be jumping for joy. And as she left to go train her rogues once more, she was attacked by her father David. That was also a terrible emotional ordeal.
David told Cherry that her real mother was a mage, and that she tried to kill her when she was a child. David even confessed that he never loved his daughter, and that he had always wanted her dead. Grinning with malice towards his daughter, he tried to kill her. The woman won the battle, but the good side of her refused to kill him. This allowed David to slink off with his tail between his legs.
Shortly after, she was transported to an island plagued with hurricanes and rough waters. The woman was stuck on this island for some time. It was there that she gave birth to her daughter Selene, and it was there they lived for about six months.
Selene aged quickly. In six months, she ended up looking like a five year old. Cherry watched the skies every day, and sung her daughter a lullaby of a hero who would one day return to them. Of course, that day came, but so did more heartache.
Watching a lightning bolt streak across the sky, Cherry fired out a shot at it. She knew it was Fenrir, and she hoped he would come back for her. Unfortunately, her shot scared a young succubus girl by the name of Elise, who dropped to her island. Once the girl had landed on the ground, the two met up, and the horror of Fenrir's ways were revealed.
It was never really said, but due to Elise's reaction when Cherry said that she was his girlfriend, it was clear that Fenrir had slept with this woman. Feeling her heart breaking in two, she engaged in simple conversation and tried to look past it, but she couldn't.
When Fenrir came back, he met his daughter Selene for the first time. It was a tender moment. A moment that hardly ever comes around. With Cherry telling him to teleport everyone away, Fenrir did as he was told. When he came back, he had to battle against Cherry and the horrid emotions that took over as Dark Cherry manifested herself before him.
Upset that she would attack, but making sure he didn't kill her, Fenrir won the battle. Though Cherry was still upset. When she asked him how he could sleep with another woman, his reply was "Just because I slept with her doesn't mean that I care about her. You should know that." It wasn't the answer she was looking for, and he teleported her back to the Spire.
As Fenrir left with the others, he told Cherry to come back to him. She promised she would, but also ran into Jasper, her long lost friend. Jasper confessed that it had been Cherry that had kept him going, and said something that made her snap. His words made her realize she was letting Fenrir get away with murder, because she didn't want to loose him. As such, she was loosing herself, and becoming just a husk. She let him walk all over her, as if his word was law.
Taking this into consideration, she headed to Nocturne to get her child, and tell Fenrir it was over. Though the break up was less than kosher. He blamed Cherry and said she was trying to change him. Even after giving him a lecture, and calling him a monster...she still confessed her love for him before taking Selene and leaving.
He wouldn't take this lying down, and met Cherry on the road to Kusana with the look of a murderer in his eyes. It was clear he would kill her to get his child back. Feeling as if the enviroment he was creating was hazardous to her child, she fled with the help of Liliana the seer, Cain the blade, Alewar the dragon summon, Zeb, and Jasper himself.
Feeling that Fenrir was only using her for his own sexual pleasure and what other plans he had, has warped Cherry's mind. As such, her soul has become numb, and even with Jasper confessing his love for her, she finds herself stuck in another depression that doesn't want to go away. Each day she thinks about Fenrir and Elise is another day her soul is ripped to shreds. She is a fool, she knows that Fenrir is the only man she'll ever love. And in an attempt to keep herself busy so she doesn't think on it, the woman has taken over Nocturne. Replacing the cold dark land with a bright sun to try and cheer herself up.
So far, it isn't working. Which leaves us with a question...Will Cherry/Amaterasu suffer under her own depression and make a plan to kill herself, or will she pull through and be stronger for it? The answer is yet to be seen.
Of course we can't expect the two to just say that their lives were perfect. No infact, nothing is ever perfect now is it? The strong often have horrible back stories which drive them to their decision to be the best. Cherry's life is no different.

Returning to Aramil and the Lycan Transformation
A strange Lycan and the Lovelorn
