"Uh huh. I can do that," West said quickly, his quiet hesitance belying the confidence suggested by the speed with which he had answered. "Two weeks. It'sa deal."
He rubbed his hand on his thigh, then reached out to grab Calder's. Once his fingers were wrapped around the kelpie's palm, West directed the tiniest bit of FEAR toward their clasped hands. He felt and heard the somewhat familiar fzzt, and as soon as the feeling had passed, West's fingers loosened and he shook his hand to free it from the other boil's grasp.
"Done," he said. He shoved his hand into his pocket.

Once their hands locked, he felt that sting. The burning of fear, but unlike Sin's who was upon his heart, this one sizzled upon his upper left arm. He made a face for a moment as he flinched and then it was gone, leaving a warm heat.
Their hands broke, and despite the mark, Calder smiled. "Just tell me when to make the delivery." Two weeks of protection - or as Calder's true intention was - two weeks of bought company.

There. That hadn't been so bad. With the distance of about... forty-five seconds between him and his most recent contract, West was beginning to feel ever so slightly better about the whole thing. It was behind him. At least he hadn't somehow forgotten how. That would have been pretty embarassing.
"Will do," he said, taking a sweeping look around the area. When he was satisfied that no one appeared to be all that interested in their little agreement, he turned back to the other boil.
"We finished 'ere?" West seemed to recall the mention of contract-related paperwork being required at Amityville at some point, but since he had never actually filled any out, he was at a loss as to how to go about it.
With a shake of his head and a slight eyeroll, West turned and hurried off back to the dorms. If there was any more to it, he was fairly certain the kelpie would track him down.
