kurokitsume angryfisheatenbycat Does anyone *coughMwa?cough* know how to include text from another file on the page? Without using Php or SSI includes, because changing the page extensions messes everything up with the whole system. Thanks for the help Kuro. smile Comic is updated! Sorry the art's not all that great... XP I havn't had time to ink the last two pages, and the text I needed from fuzzy he didn't have with him, so the inside of the book she's about to read is blank. I will update that as soon as I can. Fuzzy's ill too... gonk crying *huggles him* So there probably won't be an update in the plot next week, though I'll try and get something up, an explanation and a sketch or something, and instead concentrate on getting the site working and looking good. I'll also try and finish the front cover, and upload that so it's not a broken link... sweatdrop

I can't remember what it is off the top of my head, but I'll go find out! : D Though, did you know that you can just tell the server that .html pages are actually php pages, and to treat them as such? surprised

I can't remember what it is off the top of my head, but I'll go find out! : D Though, did you know that you can just tell the server that .html pages are actually php pages, and to treat them as such? surprised <!--#include virtual="insertthisfile.html" --> This should do it fine. razz If not, you will need to change the file name to .shtml. If you really can't, you could just use javascript. wink

You do know that if you ask, I will both host your comic and build you a proper PHP based comic system, don't you? gonk
Hell, I'll even make a proper rant stylie thing too!

I'm working on it now.
It'd work like this:
sharon.yellowtips.co.uk = main page.
sharon.yellowtips.co.uk/archive/1 = first comic
sharon.yellowtips.co.uk/archive/2 = Second comic
Ect.
Updating's easy.
You simply put the imge in the upload box, type in the description & the rant, (And a title for the comic), and hit 'k'.
All updated. razz

Fuzzy writes the story, I illustrate it. razz He writes wonderfully, and can barely draw, he likes my drawings, and I can't write at all as an art. Only as communication. And um, I'd rather you didn't make the whole code thing right now unless you really want to, and don't mind making the whole thing and not having it used. I havn't talked to fuzzy about it yet, this is his project, it will be his decision as final. And like I said, I probably won't be able to talk to him for a while. When he gets ill, he gets ill bad... crying

Yeah, well, I probably will if you don't. wink B-but! We never asked you to make it... sweatdrop And there are some advantages of staying with comicgenisis, such as, if we get well recognised, you get a "keenspot" place thing.
