There was one thins for sure he was starting to get exhausted. The fight was starting to wind down and he was getting tired and really he felt like he had the fight in the bag, that was until the male hit him hard as he tried to hit the male. He was thrown off by the blow and ended up missing the hit he aimed toward the male. His teeth were bared he wasn't happy that he missed but that was okay. He was done for the day. It was a tie in his mind. "Great match."

"It was." He said with a nod, his chest heaving heavily from the deep breaths he was pulling. The fight had taken a lot out of him, and he'd given all the energy he'd had. Gereh was glad he was able to hold his own in a fight. Sure, he had not won, but a tie was still acceptable. And there would be other chances to prove himself in battle if he wished, he was sure of it. The only question he had now was was it enough? He didn't know if he would be accepted on a draw.
"Where do we go from here?" He inquired, in between breaths.

Iivari chuckled for a moment and then nodded at the male stretching out his paws and smiling at him. He panted and then caught his breath before speaking. "Well you see, you follow me into the pride so I can announce to some one higher up that you are a new member in the pride." He chuckled again very quickly before flicking his hair out of his eyes and smiling again. " The male was a good match for him that was for sure. He was glad that the male was strong enough for the pride he was glad to see new joining members. "Well, what do you say?"

So had had done enough. Gereh was satisfied, although he did not show it, his face and body still recovering from the battle. It had been tough, but they were evenly matched. The black lion wondered if the other male would perhaps want to duel again, if only to see who was the better of the two.
"Sounds good." He nodded. He'd recovered now, though he was still tender in some areas. But he had proved his worth and that was good enough. "Lead on."
