I am looking for a bass amp. I am a beginner. Im not in a band and dont plan to be for a while. I just need a practice amp. I dont hae any money. My real nice bass was a gift. And I cant see what it can do without an amp mad

ok, i was just wondering if any of you have ever played/owned an Epiphone Thunderbird, and if so, what you thought, you see, i am looking to buy a new bass, and this one caught my eye, i love the lines, and it has gotten nothing but good reviews from the people on Musicans Friend so yeah, comments, complaints, Deals?

baka foot654 ok, i was just wondering if any of you have ever played/owned an Epiphone Thunderbird, and if so, what you thought, you see, i am looking to buy a new bass, and this one caught my eye, i love the lines, and it has gotten nothing but good reviews from the people on Musicans Friend so yeah, comments, complaints, Deals? i tryed a thunderbird and they have nice sound but i dont like their feel...there nice and everything but just not my type....i would prefer a epiphone korena explorer bass instead of the thunderbird but its better to try then buy

Ok, the post addressing it is a bit old, but all the same. Older Squier basses are pretty good, as long as you get one made in Japan. I've got a 1983 Japanese Squier P and it's served me quite well for the 8-years I've played. I also know several others who've played Fender and Squier and will swear by Squier because they've found Fender ones to have problems with buzzing and the like. As long as your guitar wasn't made in Mexico, there's really little wrong with Squier as a brand.

And I cant see what it can do without an amp mad fender, something like a 15b that is if they still make them, it is what i started with, and i still have it, i think it's still under waranty =^_^=
