Ryder shrugged, the smirk on his face not changing in the slightest bit. "That's fine. Kaylee's a cute name; it works with your cute face." he said, brushing some of his black and red hair away from his eye before going on some more; "As for you, I'll let you call me whatever you want." he said, managing to muster up the audacity to blow Kaylee/Blaze a kiss.

Ryder simply watched her, twirling one of his drum sticks in one hard; the angrier this girl got, the more turned on he was. "You're pretty good on that guitar of yours, you know that?" he asked, his smirk changing into a genuinely kind smile.

Clearly, the coldness in Kaylee's face didn't faze Ryder very much; he was still smiling at her. "Kind of interesting meeting a fellow musician my first day living in this town. In case you couldn't tell, I'm a drummer." he said, motioning to the drum stick he was still twirling in his left hand.

Ryder could hear the song and smiled calmly as he listened. There wasn't a thing about Blaze that he didn't like; sure she was being a b***h, but that wasn't anything new to him. "What I wouldn't give to go out with a girl like that..." he thought, closing his eyes as he listened and wishing this could go on all day.

"This girl's seriously good... If I didn't like this so much and didn't think she'd come over here and kill me for it, I'd be drumming along with her right now; that'd be awesome." Ryder thought, his eyes fully fixated on her as she kept playing. Even as he put his drumsticks back into the left pocket of his jeans, he kept his eyes on her; she was like a siren accept her guitar was hypnotizing him instead of her voice.

Though surprised Blaze was talking to him now, Ryder shrugged and went on to answer her anyway; why the hell not, right? "I'd assume I'm pretty damn good seeing as I've been drumming for the past eight years. ... I wanted to start drumming earlier, but...I ran into some 'complications'..." he responded, using air quotes on the last word he spoke.
