"Mm... Yeah well... I... Mmmm..." Tahnia comically looked away. He had a point but she wasn't going to tell HIM that. "I just wanted to know your name first..." She stated simply with her snout in the air then nodded to prove her point. "But..." She looked back at him. "My name is Tahnia... And um... I don't know... I guess?"

Ep laughed merrily. "Oh, a lady are you," he asked, blue eyes sparkling in humor. "Well, My Lady, I apologize for my offense!" He bowed in a comical manner. He found it amusing how Tahnia reacted, uppity without any of the real condecsending manner of someone who thought themselves better than others. It made teasing her all the more fun.
"Well," he said, straightening up and pushing his mask out of the way again, "if you ever do experience something like that you probably will know. When you do things that make sense to you but not others, a lot of the time you don't really notice. After all why would you, when you're doing something that seems normal?"

"Huh? What are you laughing at?" She looked down at him then blushed a little when he started to tease her. "Mm... Yeah tease me all you want... im use to it." She looked away from him and continued to point her snout into the air. "Make for a good laugh do i? Im so glad your amused." She glanced back at him. He had a point... yet again... gee was this guy always right or did he just seem that way. "You know... your like walking logic... doesn't that ever get old?"

Ep looked at Tahnia with an innocent expression, ruined by eyes that were pure mischief. "Does speaking logic get old? Why, I never realized I did that. Huh, maybe being logical just comes normal to me and I never noticed! There we are, a case in point example for you!"
His grin widened magrinally, eyes still filled with mischief. "How very fortuitous. Perhaps I should make a note so I remember to make it my example next time I pull out this particular bit of logic."

"I guess thats true. If your use to doing something all the time you don't really notice it when others do." She tilted her head to the side as she looked at him. "I don't want to seem like im changing the subject but... its just... every since I saw you i've been looking at the mask." Her eyes were currently fixed on said mask. "Its really neat... I've been wondering... where did you get that? and those things on your arms. They are neat too."

Ep glanced sideways at his mask, then down at his sleeves. "Huh. You know, I never really thought about it. Or I haven't in a long, long time."
He shrugged, looking back up at Tahnia as he did so. "My brothers have them too. My little brother has more masks than this, actually." He grinned. "He's something of a collector. This particular mask and these sleeves, and the ones my brothers have, were most likely gifts from my parents."
Ep shrugged again. "I don't remember my parents though, so I could be wrong."

She chuckled when he looked at her when she asked about his mask. "Your mask..." She motioned to with a paw. "Im just wondering about it..." She tiled her head to the side when he told her he hadden't really thought about it. "You have brothers?" She smiled. "And they all have them?" She chuckled lightly. "Thats really neat that you all have something like that. Are they different colors or so they all looks the same?" When he mentioned one of his brothers collecting the masks she smiled. "Thats cool. Where does he get them?"

Ep shook his head at Tahnia's last question. "Better not to ask-," he said, "-since I doubt even half were acquired in a legal fashion."
He pawed lightly at his mask, holding it up to his face and peering at Tahnia through the eyeholes. "I have two brothers, an older and a younger," he said, voice muffled by the porcelin. "The colors of our masks match our fur color, but they are all identical in their style."
He dropped him mask, revealing a grin. "Quite handy when we need intimidation on our side."
