I'm sorry about your pup, It's understandable that you couldn't get on to update us while this was going on, but you did post that AFTER my post where I said you were ignoring the thread.

Lunchbox Material Yes! I Was Able To Take My Puppy To The Vet Early Morning On Wednesday; Since My Boss Gave Me The Day Off. All The Vet Told Me Was That Sargeant Was Too Advanced With The Disease And That I Should Put Him Down; Or Struggle In Trying To Keep Him Alive....Though He Said He Wouldnt Last. I Told Him To Give Him The Treatment And So It Began. I Believed That He Could Make It Since On Thursday I Noticed A Somewhat Improvement In The Morning...But Around The Night I Noticed He Had Completely Lost Appetite And His Hind Legs Stopped Working. I Kept Giving Him His Medicine Just How The Doctor Has Prescribed It. But Sadly; Sargeant Couldnt Make It After That Night. I Just Wanted To Believe He Could Have Survived Distemper. Aww... Sorry to hear that... crying I'm glad you were able to take him to the vet and tried your best.

I'm sorry to hear that. You NEED to advise the person with the mother that your pup had distemper and that it's very contagious and to warn all other new owners that their pups have it and need to be taken to a vet asap if they're still alive.
Also, I would use this oppertunity to point out that 1. Pups should never be separated from parents that young, that the mother should have been up to date on shots to pass on the immunity to the pups temporarily AND throw in that it would be BEST to neuter her dog to prevent such a sad outcome from happening again. Considering how many thousands of pets are euthanized for lack of loving homes, there is no need to bring in sickly animals into the world when there are so many healthy young ones in need of homes.
