"You're not a girl?" She sounded surprised - shocked even - as she tilted her head. She sounded serious as she continued with a straight face, "I thought you were one." She continued to brush his hair, now frowning slightly... Until the corners of her lips started to twitch upwards in a smile, before she giggled, patting him on the top of his head.
"I think I've seen, uh, enough for you to not need to prove your manhood to me, Mr Jericho," She giggling, shaking her head before blushing, starting on the first small braid, located on the side of his head.

Jericho gave a bit of a nervous chuckle that time. He almost forgot about.. that incident. That involved the dropping of the towel. It was a rather tense moment.
"Eh he he... I guess that's true," He grinned weakly, "But hey... it's not like I knew the towel was going to drop when I got into a fight with Christof."
"But uh.. seriously.. is it normal for a guy to have this done to him?" he blinked. The dragon didn't really remember seeing dudes get their hair played with. Then again, a fair number of guys didn't have long enough hair for that. Either that or they seemed like the type that wouldn't respond too well to being touched or whatever.
Like that Shun dude.

"Well... Don't walk around with only a towel next time?" She gave a sage nod, her hands busy with tying up the end of the braid. She then started on a braid next to the first one, making sure that both braids were of the same thickness, "And wear a shirt. Always." Good advice; Lizzy has them.
"I'm not sure actually," She smiled sheepishly, pausing the braiding momentarily to look at Jericho, "I didn't have many male friends before I came to school... Actually, I don't remember being close to a boil before my stay here." Which was why she found it difficult to talk to boils during the first few months of school; she just didn't know how to act around them! It was nice to note that she now felt comfortable talking to (most of) them now.
"Did you have many friends back home?" She couldn't help feeling rather curious as she resumed the braiding, "I mean... You told me that you were over a hundred years old, right? You must had met other dragons... Or even got yourself a ghoulfriend?" She giggled.
Secretly, she was treating Jericho as a ghoul friend right now. So secretly that she was doing it subconsciously.

Well, he supposed that made sense. That might explain a little bit of why she seemed kinda awkward whenever he first met her. Jericho doubted that she had a crush on him from the moment she saw him after all. Or maybe she did. He didn't really know, but at the same time that didn't really matter all that much.
"I was friends with a couple dragons whose territories bordered ours, as well as a few of the other beings that lived in our territory," He replied, "And.. yeah actually. It didn't last long though."
The dragon didn't really think much of the questions, not really realizing how Lizzy was treating him. If he knew, this situation would probably be considerably more awkward.

"Other beings...?" She couldn't help but grow increasingly curious about Jericho's home; she came from the suburbs after all, close to the city but without all the hustle and bustle of city life... However, she never got the chance to visit the other parts of Halloween either, since there was nobody to accompany her and her mother didn't want her travelling alone.
"Ohhh?" She blinked; she couldn't tell that Jericho had a ghoulfriend before! Then again, how do you even tell these things?
"Aw? Why not? If you don't mind me asking anyway..." She smiled, her focus not entirely on Jericho as she started on the third braid, "It's interesting... Compared to so many of you, I think I grew up rather sheltered."

"Yeah. With our lands being so big, we're bound to have overlap with other creatures. The territory 'lines' are mostly for other dragons as well as any enemies we might have had," Jericho explained, "Some fae, some goblins, and other things lived in the area."
Blinking as she followed up on the girlfriend question, the dragon shifted a bit while thinking back on that.
"It just wasn't going to work out," he shrugged, "She wasn't quite the girl I thought she was once I got to know her a little better and stuff. Had a bit of a big falling out and uh.. yeah."
Glancing back at the spider demon, he tilted his head slightly.
"I'm sure that's not necessarily a bad thing though."

"Your family has enemies? Sounds dangerous..." She blinked, finishing up the fourth braid before deciding that she should stop. Leaving the braids on, she tossed the comb and hair ties back into her bag before flopping down on the arm chair beside the boil's. Pulling her legs up, she sat cross legged, Indian-style, before turning her whole body so that she was facing him.
"Ah... That's a pity, although you're right," She nodded, giving a small, sheepish smile, "If two people aren't compatible, it might be better to just... Well, shorten the pain." Not that she imagined it to be easy at all, to end a relationship... Now that she was in one, she could sort of relate to it more than when she was just an observer. However, she was still learning...
"Ohh, this talk reminds me of that talk we had after the Scarentine Party!" She giggled, "About how you want someone shorter than you and I wanted someone taller than me!" A pause followed as her expression softened somewhat, "Time sure flies, huh...?"

"Well you know. People try to steal dragon treasure and whatnot," Jericho said with a shrug, "Generally doesn't go too well for the would-be raiders."
Grinning lightly, he leaned back as he saw Lizzy go out to sit before him. For a moment, he reached back to feel his braided hair. This was... kind of weird. Actually, it was a little more than just kind of weird. He didn't know what to make of it.
However, his thoughts came away from that as she brought up their little conversation after scarentines. Blinking at that, he soon smiled and chuckled lightly.
"Yeah no kidding. Man.. it been six months already. So much has happened since I've come to this place. And now we're both Knobs!"

She giggled, "Oh, but the best treasures can't be stolen easily~" She was of course, speaking about friends; while the classes in school taught her a lot, ironically, due to the field trips, she had learnt the importance of friendship. For some odd reason, she was suddenly reminded of unicorns at the thought.
She pushed that thought away quickly, however.
"Do you like them?" She couldn't resist another giggle at the way he looked as he touched the small braids she had tied for him, "I worked hard!" Code word for 'don't you dare take them out in front of me'. She might just be teasing though, judging from the grin on her face; she was just glad that Jericho didn't mind humoring her.
"Almost a year for me..." She replied softly before nodding, her face lighting up, "Indeed! I'm excited for our second year in school... Ah, one year ago, the student council elections were held... Now, they're holding it again, to replace the old members. Between then and now, well... You;re right about it being eventful for sure!"

Chuckling again, Jericho nodded to Lizzy in agreement. He found that while his hoard was nice and all, there were some things that shone more brilliantly than any gold coin or gem could ever do.
"Oh uh.. they're... interesting?" he grinned weakly while slowly letting go of the braid. The temptation to pull them down was strong but he refrained for the time being. How long he would be able to fight it, he wondered.
"Yeah I am too. I'm actually kinda looking forward to the next classes. See how we can hone our FEAR even further," he grinned, "Oh! I learned something new while at home too. Though it's not really all that easy for me to do yet."

What doesn't kill you would (probably) make you stronger. Resist the urge to pull the braids off, Jericho.
"Yup! Although I'll be gone most of the vacation, so if there are summer classes, I might miss them..." Her voice trailed away as she looked a little worried, "I hope I don't miss anything important while I'm away! Mind keeping me informed via texts, Mr Jericho?" She giggled, and then smiled at the boil, "It would be appreciated!"
At his mention of 'something new', her eyes widened as she scooted closer to the arm of the armchair, leaning forward a little as she looked at the dragon, "Ohhh? What sort of something new?"

"Yeah, sure thing!" Jericho grinned before his eyes lit up as she asked what type of thing he could do now. Looking around, he spotted a magazine on the table nearby. He just went ahead and took that, tearing off a small bit of the corner and holding up.
"Check this out," he smirked while he began to focus his FEAR into the piece of paper. It took a little while, but eventually, the cracks between his scales began to take a molten glow. Small tendrils of smoke began to appear around the paper before it started to steadily burn away into nothing.
"Whew," he breathed out while that was done, looking to Lizzy, "Still not that good with that yet but there you go."

"Ohh?" She actually went from crossing her legs to a kneeling position, leaning over the arm of the chair and towards Jericho to take a closer look at what he was doing. When the cracks between his scales started to glow, her eyes widened, her attention immediately going to the way they looked.
That was rather amazing, impressive and... Well, pretty to look at.
Her attention soon shifted up to the small piece of paper, and she watched with widened eyes, as it begun to burn away. Jericho would receive a huge grin as well as clapping when he was done, "That was great! I guess you would be able to burn larger things as you improve?" A pause followed as she raised an eye brow, letting out a soft chuckle, "Might want to avoid doing that in front of Amrita. Or Tess. Or any undead, really."

The cracks between his scales returned to normal as the amount of heat there left. Dusting his fingers off of the ash he now produced, he grinned at Lizzy, and chuckled lightly.
"Hopefully. My dad can practically set things on fire pretty quickly by touch. So I'm guessing I'll be able to reach that point at some time," he said while looking over his hands, "And uh.. yeah. Probably a good idea there. Though I think my fire breath would scare them more than this slow burning technique!"

"Really? That must be quite the sight..." Setting things on fire by touch? Awesome! She then paused, letting out a soft giggle, "Must come in really handy for cooking, eh?" Yes, she was attempting a pun. A really lame one, but at least she was trying! She was also looking at Jericho with a hopeful expression, sort of hoping for him to "get it".
"Hmmm, fire breath..." She echoed, blinking as she scooted backwards, leaning against the other arm of the chair as she continued to keep her body turned towards the boil, "I don't think I've never seen you use that before."
