(( Condensing posts ))

Richmon closed his eyes this time, shifting his footing impatiently. This was far more difficult than he had originally anticipated. Yet again he had been interrupted. "But what if that stream of water runs into another pool, touching it for only a moment before continuing on?" Rihmon asked. If this stallion refused to listen perhaps he could force the male before him to say the point he was trying to get across.

A deep sigh escaped Rykers maw. Blue lips pursed together as teeth ground behind striped cheeks. Rykers breathing was heavy and labored, the numb feeling ebbing from his body and allowing the pain to seep forth. He closed his eyes for a moment, dark lids covering the jade orbs and allowing Ryker to slip for a second into welcomed darkness. He had to for a moment think about the stallions question, visualize it. Though the answer wasn't hard to come by, Ryker had to pause. He had given up on grumbling to himself about why this being had been sent to torture him. At this point in time all he wanted to do was sleep. He knew however that if he didn't speak the strange stallion would continue on as he had before. "It will keep going, it wont dry up. As long as it keeps touching other pools of water where it can replenish it's self it will keep going."

Richmon nodded with a slight smile. "Exactly." He hoped that this would be enough to begin to fester in the mind of the being before him.

"I get your point..." Ryker blurted out painfully after several moments of awkward silence. "In order for someone to live and continue to live one must continue to touch others lives; the more you continue to touch others lives the more you live."

"Yes," Richmon said cheerfully with a slight smile. He was quite thrilled that such a conclusion could come so quickly from a being of such a negative and cynical view on life.

"But one can get nothing from a life like that; they who do nothing but impact others do nothing for themselves. "

Richmon's smile dropped slightly once more. This was true. "But one that does only for others with the thought of one's self does not live. It is the balance between the two that one must seek."

"If it is even possible - it would be easier just to do for one's self and to get rid of the whole lot of the living..."

Back to square one. The Judge could do little more than hang his head in the hopelessness of it all.

"But that's what I've been doing for all this time. and look where it got me. Maybe you're right...." Ryker groaned, his head hurt so bad now - why was he changing his mind so much?

Richmon chuckled and began to turn from the being before him; there want anything more he could do - he had shed light on the male and had healed him as much as he could. It was time for him to press on.

"What? You're just going to leave? What am I supposed to do?" The thought of being left in such a state, alone, let fear flood though his veins.

"Well..." Richmon said as he flared his wings and readied himself for flight. "You have a rare chance that most do not get the pleasure of having. You have been alive and have witnessed the world without living. But unlike most you have been given a second chance at life. So..." Richmon gave a slight smile. "Do what you have never done before. Live. Find the perfect balance..." And with that he vaulted himself in the air, leaving the broken and mutilated stallion to his thoughts.
