He grinned and shrugged at the boil. "You're the boss. If once a month will keep your stomach full, then once a month it is." He tucked his hands in his pockets and swung himself onto his desk chair backwards, resting his chin on the back. "Though I guess that kind of makes your stomach the boss."
He tried to think back to the auditions, and remembered the boil with the brown wings who sang. He supposed that was most likely Ren, and nodded his head. "Yeah, he might work. He's got an interesting voice, and he looks like he belongs in a gambling hall, honestly.."

"Heh, you might have a point. But Mot did decently. I'm going to see if he's willing to do it again before I go telling even more people about this," Roch said. "And no tellin, got it? Especially any ghouls. Danny definitely doesn't need to know, I already know that. With my luck she'd want to come along and wind up burning the place down by accident, then we'd all wind up dead. And it wouldn't be because of the fire," he added dryly.
He lifted a fist, summoning his guitar. "Hell, all we need is a bass player and we'll have a band. Wonder if we could find a reaper that played, or if we should ask that Bul guy," he said thoughtfully.

Nyyrikki raised his brows in surprise. Burn the place down? Roch obviously knew some interesting characters. It made him a little sad that he would have to keep the secret from Lilura, but he understood. He dragged his pinched fingers across his lips with a smirk. "You got it. No telling."
"I don't know of any other reapers who play, but do you think that guy would even be interested?" He'd never spoken to the monster, so he wasn't quite sure on his disposition. If they could make it work, though, he wouldn't be against it.

"Hell if I know," Roch admitted. "I mean, I've talked to him a little like, twice, but not enough to get the 'I'm crazy enough to do suicidal crap for lots of seeds,' vibe off of him. Which is why I hesitated to tell you about it, too," he admitted. "And who knows, they might expect us to split the pay, so the more people we bring in, the less seeds we get..." Which clearly didn't appeal to the boil.
He started tuning his guitar as he thought. "Then again, they might pay us more for having a full band. Except the more of us there are the more likely someone will find out who doesn't need to know. Jack, I dunno, we'll ask the next time we go. Who knows, they might tell us to get one. For now we need to keep an eye out for musicians that look flat jack broke."

Nyyrikki chuckled. "I don't look suicidal enough? I've absolutely been bored enough, man." He'd do anything to get out and do something worth while. Jack, he'd do anything just to get out. "You sure you wanna ask about something like that, though? You seem a bit... reluctant to be too close to these guys. Even if you are broke and hungry." Nyyrikki could ask, though. His big mouth generally didn't care about what the smart thing to do was.
"What are we calling the band?"

"Well, they're some scary a** bastards," Roch said simply. "Anyone with half a clue would be reluctant to go back. But if we can avoid the back room, we should be fine, right?" Alllwaaays look on the bright siiiide of liiifee, Roch. Even if it's naive as can be.
"And right now it's called Punk and the Bandit, but with you joining we should probably change it to Punks and the Bandit or something. But it just doesn't roll quite as well... Besides, punk could mean the whole music genre, and stuff." He made a face. "I didn't expect to go back, so don't blame me for the stupid name, alright?"

"I'd imagine so. A bunch of gamblin' half-wads would be our biggest problem, then, and as long as we keep them happy, we should be fine." He drummed his fingers on the wood of the chair. "Of course, we probably have to keep the big guns happy to, whether we see them or not." That was the hard part, he supposed. Make 'em happy, but avoid them at all costs.
"Punk and the Bandit." He made a bit of a face. "We're going to have to improve your quick-thinking a bit."

Sometime in the past few seconds Roch had pulled out his phone and checked his messages. "Well... come up with something quick, we just lost our singer," he drawled, sighing and typing a reply for Mot. "Hell, if we can't find someone before this time next month I'll just sing myself," he decided, looking a bit irritated. Oh well, Mot HAD almost gotten them killed. "Someone that's at least decent in a fight this time," he decided. "Enough to know when he can't win, at least."
He pocketed his phone and looked at the other reaper boil. "Any band names come to mind yet?"

Well s**t, now they had to actually look for someone who could sing. Due to their strict no-ghouls policy, he was sort of fresh out of ideas. "Maybe we can keep a better eye out next time the club meets? There's gotta be someone fitting."
He leaned back against his desk and hm'd and ha'd over the band name for a few moments. They had to have a good name. Something the people who listened to them would remember and tell their friends about. Nyyrikki Chains was obviously too self-involved, no matter how good it sounded. But Roch, well he was the leader right?
"Say, what's your last name?"

"Huh?" Roch said. He was still stuck on the singer problem. "Scythe, why?" he asked. "We can keep an eye out in classes, too, maybe someone in music class would know how to sing?" he offered.
"I dunno, this kinda sucks." He frowned. "And it really sucks that we only had one singer audition in the club. How are we going to run a music club with no singers?"

"Scythe. I can work with that." He lept up from his chair and headed to his closet with a purpose. Everything Roch said was punctuated by a shuffling or a screeching. At one point, a rather disgruntled looking follylop padded out of the closet, looking back at it's owner with a bit of disdain at being disturbed. Sounded focused on his task, he spoke in a raised voice so the other boil could hear him. "I'm sure we'll get more singers. People don't always join during tryouts, y'know? Someone's bound to show up."
There was a rattling, a little crash, and a "HA!" from Rikki before he reappeared. He held up a tattered old dictionary that seemed like it had seen more dust and dirt than actual use in the last few years. After flipping through a few pages, he looked up. "Insidious Scythe?"

"Insidious?" Roch repeated blankly. "What the jack does that mean?" he asked curiously. "I mean, it sounds cool... I think." Honestly he had no idea. "But we could do something not involving my name, like... Deathly Hollows or something?"

He shrugged and discarded the dictionary on his bed. "I just thought it sounded cool," he laughed. "I like Deathly Hollows. Or we could do like.. Breakdead, or something." The suggestion was pretty half-hearted; he'd be content to be Deathly Hollows. It would look good on posters, though something told him Roch didn't want his face or name on a poster.

"Hell, it's not like we'll be doing this for the school or anything," Roch said. "The only people that will know are gambling addicts that don't even look at you most of the time. We could change the name every month and I doubt they'd give a jack," he added with a shrug.
"But... not my name," he said. "Something weird happened when we went in the first time. The guy at the door made me tell him my entire name before he let us in. Which is weird, cuz I'm just a poor b*****d from the wrong side of the streets," he said, grinning and looking as if he were lying.

Nyyrikki furrowed his brows, eying Roch. "Your whole name? Did he react funny?" He couldn't imagine a bouncer really caring about someone's name. Usually they were a bit more likely to to kick you in the a** for your looks rather than your name. At least, from what he saw on SkeVee they were; he supposed he couldn't really vouch for what they did in reality. Still, it didn't add up. Roch was just a kid.
"You sure you're not related to anyone major?"
