1 ) Do you think that gay marriage should be legal? -- Yes. It’s illogical to deny a group of people the right to marriage just for who they are.
2 ) Do you think that gays should be allowed to serve in the military? – Yes. Didn’t know your sexual orientation meant you can’t protect your country. Oh wait. That’s because there is no relation there.
3 ) What do you think about people who don't believe in god? – I have no feelings in particular, in general. I probably know people who don’t believe in god and don’t know it because religion doesn’t come up a lot in any of my conversations. I believe these people should be respected until they give me a reason not to respect them.
4 ) Are you Pro-Life or Pro-Choice? -- Pro-Choice. And my mind will not be moved.
5 ) Do you think animal testing should be banned? – I think the ethical guidelines should be followed since in some cases, it is necessary. But overall? I don’t like it. I can understand in some cases why scientists would need to use rats or something but understanding does not equal acceptance.
6 ) How do you feel about illegal immigration? – I believe the US in particular wouldn’t be the country it is today without it. We could use more understanding on this subject.
7 ) Do you think it is ethical to do stem cell research? – I have no opinion on this subject at this time.
8 ) Is torture ever acceptable? – No. If you want to say that torture is acceptable in terms of say, catching terrorists, then you agree that torture is okay against everyone else. You can’t have “well, if in this case” here. Torture is a violation of human nature, in my belief.
9 ) Should the government have a say on our diets? – This…is a question? No. The only say they should have is perhaps having databases people could go to about food and stuff.
10 ) Should the alcoholic drinking age be increased or decreased? – I don’t see why it needs to be moved really –shrugs-
11 ) Should cigarette smoking be banned? – No. If people want to smoke let them do so. Educate people on the consequences and realities if you want people to smoke less.
12 ) Should Medical Marijuana be legal? – Yes. I’m sure there are people out there who can’t be treated with other painkillers either because their pain is too great or they have a resistance to them. Cost could play a part here as well.
13 ) Do you think the 2003 invasion of Iraq was justified? – I’m fairly sure it wasn’t. Didn’t we say the reason was they had weapons of mass destruction? And found none?
14 ) What do you think about Teen Pregnancy? – I am not “for” it but neither am I against it. I am for supporting teen families however. So you think what they did is wrong? You’re really going to let a child suffer because of your principles?
15 ) Do you think there should be more or less gun control? – More. Guns don’t kill people. But they sure do help. That said, of course, guns should not be taken away completely because citizens need to be able to protect themselves especially when they can’t rely on the police.

10) Should the alcoholic drinking age be increased or decreased? I don't think we should have a drinking age. America has some of the highest alcoholism rates, while countries without drinking ages have lower statistics for alcoholism and drunk driving accidents.

1) Do you think that gay marriage should be legal? -- I don't see why not, everyone has a right to be happy. Even if it is a "sin" didn't God give us free will who are we to decide what is right and what is a "sin".

3) What do you think about people who don't believe in god? -- It is there choice and they have a right to their beliefs.

9) Should the government have a say on our diets? To a point where the majority of the nation is at a healthy and/or comfortable weight but not too restricting

11) Should cigarette smoking be banned? No, it would be an excuse to do it even more
12) Should Medical Marijuana be legal? Yes, unless the person has a history of drug abuse or something

I notice I get along better with people who don't believe in God or are agnostic then those who do. More or less, I respect anyone beliefs.

Pro-choice. It's the woman's body, it should be her decision. No one else.

Yes

I don't care about it, and I honestly think people are making way too much of a deal about it.

Yes

It kind of depends. If it's to get information out of someone, then no. If it's to punish someone for a crime (and isn't extreme like chopping off limbs, or torture for petty crimes), then yes.

No, it's not their business.
10. Should the alcoholic drinking age be increased or decreased?
Decreased. If people are brought up on alcohol at an early age (in small doses of course) they will think of it as the norm and not that big of a deal, thus they'll be less likely to binge on it later in life.

I say if they ban marijuana, then they should ban cigarettes as well.

Yes

15) Do you think there should be more or less gun control? -- I don't think the issue is that simple. Some US gun laws need to be relaxed or out and out repealed, but at the same time it needs to be made legal to look into medical records when issuing gun licenses.

1) Do you think that gay marriage should be legal? -- Definitely. The fact that it goes against our Constitution should be an obvious clue to whether or not it's right. It's clearly discrimination.
2) Do you think that gays should be allowed to serve in the military? -- Yes. And they already do.
3) What do you think about people who don't believe in god? -- I think they can be as moral as those who do. I don't think religion should draw a line between whether or not a certain group of people are "different". After all, everyone is basically taught the same morals regardless of the means. I do notice that they're more liberal, while those who are religious are more traditional, which is where the conflict kicks in. (I'm atheist, by the way.)
4) Are you Pro-Life or Pro-Choice? -- Pro-choice. I think about the rape victims and teenagers, whose lives could be severely crippled with the responsibilities of being a parent at such a young age. Either way, it's a woman's body and they should be able to control it.
5) Do you think animal testing should be banned? -- This is an issue that I'm unsure about. I don't want it to be completely banned -- over the years it has proved valuable in finding the prevention and cures for diseases. But I don't believe in testing simply for the sake of supporting a scientific, psychological, or medical theory, when it isn't being used to benefit humans/animals.
6) How do you feel about illegal immigration? -- It's wrong. If an immigrant really wants to live in America, then they should at least try to apply to become a citizen. It's unfair that work is denied to citizens simply because it's cheaper to pay noncitizens. That and that they're not subject to taxes.
7) Do you think it is ethical to do stem cell research? -- I don't know much about this, so no opinion yet.
8 ) Is torture ever acceptable? -- It's obviously unethical, but... I don't know. I'll have to think about it.
9) Should the government have a say on our diets? -- Yes. Not so much as to forcibly regulate our food/drink intake, but at least to set guidelines for products and restaurants in terms of calories, sodium content, artificial content, etc. American food is very disgusting, if you think about it. There's also the obesity issue that we're trying to fix.
10) Should the alcoholic drinking age be increased or decreased? -- It should stay the same. It's not entirely about age, it's also about control.
11) Should cigarette smoking be banned? -- I think it's too late for that. It's really common and it's an addiction -- something that can't be entirely removed without a lot of money for rehab and recovery. Plus it'll just lead way for black market sales.
12) Should Medical Marijuana be legal? -- I think yes, especially for medical problems that result in severe pain.
13) Do you think the 2003 invasion of Iraq was justified? -- I don't know enough about this to have an opinion.
14) What do you think about Teen Pregnancy? -- It's terrible, but at the same time I don't think it's the teenagers' faults in entirety. We should definitely stress more about its consequences; I don't think our schools do much but subtly refer to it.
15) Do you think there should be more or less gun control? -- My city never really had a problem with guns, so I don't have an opinion on this.

1) Do you think that gay marriage should be legal? -- Yes. We shouldn't have to not allow things to other groups or people just because they aren't like "us" or "the norm." The world takes all kinds, and we must accept that.
2) Do you think that gays should be allowed to serve in the military? -- Why not? Anyone who feels that strongly enough to fight for their country should do so if they please.
3) What do you think about people who don't believe in god? -- It's their choice, and I'm not going to shun or point fingers at someone who does not. It doesn't matter what god you do/don't believe in, it's what you do with your life that counts. Whatever happens, you'll know when you get there, good or bad.
4) Are you Pro-Life or Pro-Choice? -- Pro-Choice. Coming to the decision to abort a baby isn't an easy one for the mother, especially psychologically. I've known people who have done it, one who did it because it literally came down to her life or the baby's, and it was years ago and it still bugs her. The last thing she needs is me tearing her down more about it.
5) Do you think animal testing should be banned? -- Don't know too much on this subject, but I'm sure that somewhere out there, there are people who actually want to submit themselves as test subjects for things. Again, the world takes all kinds.
6) How do you feel about illegal immigration? -- They should all go back to wherever they belong; they have no place in the country. We have enough problems with homeless and jobs, and giving the homes and jobs to people who shouldn't be here just isn't fair to actual citizens.
7) Do you think it is ethical to do stem cell research? -- The death of a few to help the greater good, isn't that how some things are viewed? If in the long run it will help save lives and cure diseases, then go for it.

Increasing it will make them more rebellious. Decreasing it will get more 18-19 year-olds drinking, and the rate of those age groups being in car accidents involving DUIs will skyrocket.

But we shouldn't harass/pick on the girl just because she is. We don't know the circumstances. Maybe it was a party, maybe she was raped, who knows, not my business.
15) Do you think there should be more or less gun control? -- Hard to say, but anyone who wants one that badly knows how to get their hands on one rather easily. A tighter control would lead to more people wanting one.
