Te chuckled slightly at Cameo's reaction to her own question, but there was no shame in it. He found it to be a refreshing and fair question actually. "Do not be sorry, it is a fine question.....though a hard one to answer...." He paused for a moment to think on how best to describe his impression of love....it was harder to put into words then her realized.

"Love.....Love is different for everyone, we all experience it differently and the one we love influences that greatly. For me I find love to be peaceful...all the pains and sorrows of the world fade away, letting nothing but happiness in. You'd do anything for that person, accepts their faults and graces....You feel your soul complete, nothing can tear you apart it seems....It is the most wonderful thing in the world...all your favorite things bundled together...nothing able to outshine them." A tear almost fell from his eye, but it stayed put as it was not sadness he felt, not in the least, but it was happiness in the memories and the thought of maybe finding that love again.

Te smiled as he saw the longing and hope in Cameo's eyes as he spoke of love. Te also found himself blushing as he gazed into her eyes as she whispered to herself. It was true that love was a beautiful thing, if ever there was a light left in the world...you would find it in those that had love in their hearts. Te's face grew redder, though he knew not if it could be seen through his dark colors, but he could feel the heat nonetheless, as she nuzzled his neck gently and comfortingly. He smiled at her when she back away and was almost disappointed that she did not stay.

He quickly cleared his throat shyly hoping she didn't notice and focused on her next words of rest. Maybe he should take her up on her offer. "You are too kind Sweet Cameo, but I should rest...if only for awhile.....I can't thank you enough for your kindness, but I will find a way to repay you." With that he found his way to the sleeping area Cameo pointed out earlier, glancing back at her with a kind smiled as he slowly passed her.

Soon he found himself getting comfortable and within minutes he was off in dreamland....first Te saw nothing but muted figures shrouded in dark mists, screams echoing all around. He found his younger self running, calling out for help, searching for someone, but as soon as the darkness came it was gone. The shadows turned to light and he heard familiar voices...."Grow up strong my son...be happy again".....a calming voice, his mother? As her voice faded another came through as warm tears fell down his face. "Te.....Te why are you so sad? You need not carry such sorrow alone. You deserve to be happy, you've seen that light still exists don't continue to push it away.....We are always with you, remember that....You deserve to love again....you are worthy of love and happiness...embrace the light once more....."

As the voice faded Te awoke dried tears lingered on his face, "Rosaline...". He stood and whipped the tears off his face with wings and smiled in thanks to his dream, his mother and lost love. They were right maybe, it was time he started to move on, time he truly recognized and embraced the light that the world still held. He wondered threw the cave to find Cameo to thank her again, but it seemed she wasn't in the cave so he headed towards the exit, ready to welcome the light.

Te soon met the sun, taking in all it's warmth and he was happy to see Cameo there as well. He smiled warmly, feeling renewed and he was sure he probably looked a little more energized even through his ever bleeding wounds and scars, but none of that seemed to matter...it all seemed hundreds of lifetimes away. "I slept very well, thank you Cameo. I've not slept that well......in a very long time."

He continued the rest of the way out of the cave to fully greet Cameo but stopped as he got close to her as he saw the light from the sun catch and reflect of something in the sand near her hoof. He almost stepped on it, but instead used his hoof to move the sand out of the way to get a better look. ".....curious....What could this be?"

Te smiled, noticing her blush making him blush as well before he bent down to the sand picking up the bracelet and then he slowly fashioned it on his ankle. With it securely in place he lifted his leg up to better look at it and to make sure it wouldn't fall off. With him satisfied it wasn't going anywhere he looked back to Cameo again, the lingering on. "Thank you Cameo......I shall cherish it. I cannot remember the last time I received a gift."

His smile was warm and kind and though he felt some nerves, his heart flutter he still was able to step closer to Cameo and lean his head over hers, hugging her affectionately. When he stepped back he looked to the sky, taking note of the position of the sun. His smile grew smaller but did not completely fade, "I regret that I must go, I have duties I must attend to, the forest needs me, but I would like to visit you again soon with your permission, Dear Cameo. Or if you find yourself in the forest, whisper my name to the trees and I shall find you....always."

Te smiled and nudged her cheek when he saw her tears. "Indeed, I shall come see you as soon as I can.....and as to our conversation earlier....True Love always has it's way of finding you, so have no fear. If you do not find it, it shall find you....Until we meet again Dear Cameo."

He bowed as he had when they met and took off to the sky and headed back to the forest trying not to hear the loud thumping of his fast beating heart. He knew not why he said the words he did before he parted. He looked back at her while she was still in view, the smile still on his face.....maybe he said the words because he was reassured he himself could love again after his dream...or maybe, just maybe Cameo would be something more to him.....
