"Would you not like company being alone in the desert as you are?" Badr pointed out. badr looked at her with a pout "Such a shame you might have enjoyed it," The nova moved toward the center of the oasis once the other stallion appeared before him.
Badr Snorted back with surprise " I suppose then you do have a comanion and an alcor at that, very rare indeed." the nova smirked the stallions cat tail reminded him of the tigers from the jungle "A little far from home aren't you?"
Tenar glowered for a moment ignoring the subttle insults. "I think the lady has made her point perhaps you should leave."
"This is my home" he said as a matter o factly. even if it really wasn't he just simply enjoyed coming to this place to rest it was a fine place for such things. But Badr was an excellent bluffer.
To Tenar this arguement seemed valid one wouldn't always stay in their home that much was true. But he still didn't make a move any closer to yasmin as to keep himself between the nova and her. She obviously didn't like him as proved by her reaction earlier.

The water around the slender white legs rippled as Yasmin moved a tiny step away from the two of them. Though she recognized the chivalrous act of Tenar, she wasn't about to start trusting him so early in the game. She had been and was still far too hurt to believe any stranger she had just met would protect her honor so quickly.
"I highly doubt that." Narrowing her eyes, she flicked her tail once to the left in irritation. Tenar, she could deal with. He didn't come near her. Whatever his intentions, he respected her personal space. This Nova, on the other hand, could go drown in the depths he had crawled out of.
"The water is your home," she retorted, lowering her head more down to his level, but making sure her own head was held higher than his. She was above him. Not just for the fact she wasn't a half fish abomination, but a pure Star Born. And of nobler birth. "There's nothing you can do about us on land."
And, with a flick of her tail, she moved out of the water and back on the desert's sands. Turning around, her black eyes continued to watch him with much more distrust than ever hovered in them when she looked at the Alcor.

"Please lady, I'm sure I could comfort you regardless of past conflicts." Badr knew she was adamant but still couldn't help but tease her just a little; she looks much more beautiful when she was Angry. "True I cannot come on land for more than an hour in the wettest of climates," here it would be much worse the stallion might even shrivel up instantly the way things where.
Tenar kept an eye on Yasmin as she moved out of the water and the other eye carefully on the nova before moving out of the water himself a respectable distance from yasmin, a simple show of chivalry wouldn't win her trust, but it was a start. This time though he didn't lay down, in case the nova decided to try something.
Badr chuckled with a flick of his tail, perhaps he would try something else "I too am a fair creature hailing from a royal nova lineage from far and making this my home during my travels"
"Enough," Tenar said with a slight growl trying to make his point. "Leave her alone royal lineage or not." The mare seemed to distrust this nova more than he, but with the shameless insults coming from the nova he couldn't blame her. And As a chivalrous stallion he couldn't allow it any further. Lowering his horn an almost feline growl escaped his muzzle.
"Still such a fine mare you are, a real shame to let it all go to waste." the nova lamented casually. "I shall take leave for now," he offered the mare a 'charming' parting smile before re submerging into the oasis waters secretly hoping they would be around once he had finished his errand.
Tenar glanced back at the mare only once the Nova left, “I apologize for not acting sooner fair maiden” he bowed in apology.

The white mare gave a great shake of her head, occupied by a snort of annoyance. Her forelock bounced on her head, drifting down to settle on one side of her face. One black orb was left free to watch the Nova through ever growing distrustful eyes. This was not decreased when she would glance at the white stallion. A few little acts of respect wouldn't change ones attitude in one day. Now, if he could keep it up longer and show her this wasn't all staged by him and/or the Nova, she would reconsider him. She could wait. It wasn't like the oasis was a nightmare to be in. Aside the fact she was lost and a little afraid of the bandits returning, it was very pretty and liveable.
Yasmin held her head high and proudly. "I am not interested, whether you can give me proof of this birth or not. Even if you are, it must be a poor birth to have you behave such towards a lady." Turning her back on him, she flicked her tail in her own sort of dismissal, despite the sound of water as he dived down reached her ears. She was thankful, secretly, for the Alcor's presence in this matter. Regardless, she knew she could just retreat further into the desert away from the Nova. There was too much sun here for him to stay his usual one hour on land without drying up quickly.
To Tenar's bow, she blinked her pure black eyes, the lashes brushing against her cheeks. He had a charm about him, she would give him that. To his apology, she merely inclined her head a little. To show him she had heard and held no hard feelings against him. For that, anyway.
