To be honest, I have a hard time seeing Tatsuya either the Pale or Flush quadrents yet. I feel that as a character he would need to... erm... mature a little more before he did so. I know this may sound like a stab at him, but just hear me out on this line of thinking.
Tatsuya is still very much in between being his brother and finding his own path in the world. To me, this was emphasized when he asked Shiso to go out with him. When he did that, to me as an outsider it made little sense at the time because he really didn't know her all that well, but when I started to look at the character I got the impression that it was more forced, as a way of taking a part of his brothers past life and making it his own -either because he wanted to directly protect Shiso as she was one of the few things that he had left to remember his brother with, or to actually just 'fill in' for his brother personally. Now I could be wrong because I came in later, but from what I read from Shiso's history, she only met Tatsuya briefly once, so from her stand point, this doesn't make sense either unless she's also trying to find a replacement as close to Hiyo as she could.
As for the pale quarter... lets face it, Tatsuya is being a donkey to those around him. His behavior is stuck inbetween wanting to be a child and begrudginlgy taking on responsibilities that he isn't mentally ready for. He's not emotionally ready to get in any relationships because he blaims the world for his choices in taking up his brothers cause before he was perhaps fully ready for it, and now that he's forced to be an adult because of his choices he lashes out his frusterations on others and pushes people away from him. (Which is kind of a disappointing character turn to end on really, I think it would have been far more interesting to see him have time to over come that... kind of like Yuzuki's forced and sudden change... I wish I had the time to ease her into that line of thought.) So having people that can rely on him or him to be the protector kind of fails as you mentioned Zinc.
But that's just my outside look at him, how much of this rings true is of course up to the creator. xp 3nodding

Time to bust out that small teenage girl I have locked away in my subconscious.
Thinking on it, probably going to have to throw some things out for my character first-
Kazuki♥Yukai-Because I believe from the omake that it would have worked in story.
Kazuki♠Hiyo-If hiyo had survived long enough to meet Kazuki again, I would like to think this could have escalated into a fun rivalry relationship. You know, to the death and such.
Kazuki♥/♠Akeru-I'm gonna go out on a limb here and throw this into the frying pan. They're pretty close to being opposites but have similar qualities too. If I had been in story for those 6 or so months I missed, this might have occurred. On the other hand it might have gone the other way too.
Can't really think of a whole lot of others for my character and most of the others that come to mind have already been said.
