Aster fell as the smoke monster complete dissipated and vanished, but did not hesitate to pick herself back up again. She was in a battle, and she did have another enemy to deal with - one who was clearly smarter and more powerful than she was. She had hoped the sunflower turret would take care of him, but he managed to find a suitable deflection for it until the sunflower disappeared.
"s**t," she exhaled. She wasn't exactly sure what to do now, but she knew that more violence was going to be coming up next - and if she didn't act soon, she'd be the recipient. She eyed the trashcan lid that he had used to shield himself, and then kicked it with all of her might, putting in nearly all her weight into the kick. She hoped the lid would absorb the kick and send a shockwave through the opponent, or otherwise the lid be pushed back by her force and into him.

The blow struck and -- instead, he just dropped it, trash can lid clattering sideways to the alley floor beside him. Ilmenite was now recovered enough from the initial shock to bring his eyes back into focus, to get his mind working again. He was also angry enough that he didn't want to retreat and leave the girl to her own devices.
He found himself missing his duct tape. It would have been nice to pin her up against a wall and leave her dangling there for a while.
Instead, there were bolas abruptly in his hands, weighted balls swinging around his fist in a nasty circle. Still smarting, and dark eyes narrowed in annoyance, he swung for her face instead of letting them fly.

It wasn't the first time Aster had taken balls to the face, but never quite like this. They smacked her straight across the cheek, and the surprise of the attack and the sheer force of it was enough to topple to new Senshi over, falling right back down to the floor again. This time, however, she couldn't help but cry. It really hurt.
One hand rose to caress her already swelling and red cheek as tears stung the sensitive area. She didn't want to fight - she just wanted peace. She crawled along the floor of the alleyway, trying to run away but was far too slow to successfully get away (or even seem like an attempt). After traveling only a yard, she turned back to the captain.
"Please, I really don't want to fight you," she pleaded tearfully, as if the Negaverse had many heartstrings to tear at.

There were heartstrings there, certainly. Just not for Aster at the moment. Instead of reacting with horrified apology, heart-felt concern, regret for his action -- well, instead Ilmenite looked shocked and all the more furious, stepping forward to aim kick at the girl.
"Don't want to fight my a**. You kneed me in the groin, you stupid c**t!" His weapon was still hanging from his hand, the duct-tape covered ends rattling against each other as the spinning finally came to a halt. He didn't mean to kick her hard. He'd never meant to play the villian. It was probably still rougher than he intended.
"If you don't want to fight, leave the uniform off and don't start s**t you can't finish."

c**t. The word hit her like a punch to the face. Sure, she used the word plenty, but never had the word been used towards her in such a way. She sprung off the floor and charged towards the captain, trying to undercut him right in the groin again when she got close enough. She learned, in that action, that she seemed to have an affinity with attacking men in the crotch. As soon as she acted, she reacted with regret.
"Sorry. So sorry. So so sorry. Please don't kill me," she pleaded as she took a few steps back, debating making a run for it.

He wasn't off-guard this time; instead he saw her coming and swatted at her hands to send them off in another direction. Ilmenite wanted to smack her in return, wanted desperately to mess up her face so that she'd back off next time, but his own return swing went wild. It was hard to attack and defend at the same time. In an ideal world, he'd stand back while his youma held people off. He hoped someday to find that ideal world.
"You're so full of s**t." He drew in a couple deep breaths, still clutching at his weapon, but hesitating for this moment. On the balls of his feet, he wasn't debating the intelligence of chasing her down and beating her bloody, but was rather trying to figure out how to go about doing it. His moment of debate would, at least, give her time to take off down the alley.

Aster didn't take another moment before turning around and hurrying off. She started plainly running down the alley, but then remembered that thing she loved earlier that night - jumping. She ran and leapt forward, leaping across the street and onto the roof of a one-story building on the other side. She landed badly, toppling over as she did and rolling on the ground. Her body was still in pain, and didn't quite have the energy to make that kind of jump effortlessly.
After letting herself lie there and cry for a few more seconds, she then leapt from rooftop to rooftop some more, all the way home, away from the Negaverse captain. She had learned a lot that night - the Negaverse were a force to be reckoned with, and her non-violent attitude may not be getting her far.
