Everyone is entitled to their opinion, so don't go forcing your favorite music down people's throats because they'll resent it.
... trust me.
If you can find someone who can respect the music/whatever you like, then he's worth sticking around. If not, then maybe it's time for a little talk.

~Emptiness~Is~Loneliness~ Bad boyfriend! sad I myself would never go out with a guy who hated my musical tastes... maybe that's why I'm always single. stare u gotta keep ur options opened. So what if they don't like the same music as u, u can always get them to liking it... U know "i'll listen to yours if u listen to mine" kinda thing. Yeh but then if it's rap just put some ear plugs on and u'll be ok... yeh i'm single too...

No offense people, but everyone is entitled to their opinion. Not everyone is going to love MCR, and chances are you aren't going to get a boyfriend/girlfriend who totally loves them too though it's possible. You can't force people to like the same things as you. There are other things you can like a person for besides music. I could go out with someone who didn't like the same bands as me because maybe they'd introduce me to something new that we can both like together. That's just my opinion though.

Luckily for me, though, there's like, a 1 in a million chance that I'd get a boyfriend that can't stand MCR lol
I wear MCR shirts every day, so it's kinda hard to think that I don't like them xd
as for people not liking them,
some people just arn't interested in their music or lyrics xp
Or they don't like how they went kinda mainstream...

They have such a danm good sound!!! I get mad at people who say that they sound horrible. Like this kid who says that they're gothic drugg adicts and their music sucks, I serously want to hurt that person!
MCR is just awsome, people who hate them are just out of their mind.

It's okay, my boyfriend doesn't like them either. What's funny though, is that they've been playing Helena on the radio lately, and he's been listening to it. So I think he's starting to get attached. Give it a few more weeks, he'll be hooked.

I think it doesnt matter whether or not he likes them. Music isnt everything you know. If he makes you happy then it shouldnt matter.

My boyfriend doesn't like MCR either, but I can understand why. I'm not saying that I don't like MCR, it's just that their wonderful songs and stuff takes a while to get used to because it's so beautifully different from anything else.
