He listened, doling out a certain dubious feeling of agreement. Everything sounded right...he just couldn't imagine it jiving with reality. He swallowed, and cleared his throat; they had to try. "You're right," he confirmed, pulling himself to his paws with all the gravity of a wolf walking to his execution. "Who do we talk to first?"

"Novacaine," she said, immediately. If there were any wolf in the world who would simply accept something as truth, it was him -- and besides, with all the problems he'd had with his family lately, he'd be easy enough to convince to tag along. "Come on...I'll introducing you. It'll be easy."
Immediately, terror of the dream forgotten, she turned and made her way toward Novacaine's general romping ground
